Small boutique hotel with only 7 chalets. There are only 7 staff but they are super helpful and friendly. Very much a family feel. All are great! And I will come back again if I come to this part of Bali.

Great little rustic lodge right on the beach. Loved the location and the Japanese influence. Plenty of restaurants close by. Walking distance to sunset point beach club which is an awesome place to watch a sunset. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious also!

In general the place is nice, unfortunately the Air conditioning works very bad and was quite hot in the room. The location is a bit out of the Village you should walk 25/30 min to catch the downtown

The staff were excellent. Beds were firm. Showers had lots of hot water. Things that I didn’t like were no sun loungers/ bean bag chairs to relax on. If you wanted to sit by the ocean then you had to sit at tables and chairs in the dining area. Pool had no seats unless you were in room Sindhu. At breakfast my toast came out cold-since that was all I ordered it was very disappointing. Internet in the room was non existent. Only good reception was the dining area. The rooms had low lightening. No outlet in bathroom if you wanted to use a hair appliance. Showers were VERY rustic. If you don’t mind showering with the occasional centipede. No full length mirror. A suggestion that I have would be have yoga mats an available to use since there is no gym close by.

Great affordable lodging on the beach in a central location. Remember it’s a lodge…not a hotel. We loved it! Breakfast & dinner on the beach… nice large clean pool…amazing staff…beach chairs and snorkeling. Some units have stairs that are steep so if that’s a problem book a ground floor cabin.

My daughter and I had a fabulous stay. Walkable to restaurants or lovely to stay and eat overlooking the beach. Food was great. The staff were over the top helpful , warm , and fiendly. Stayed 5 days felt like home but better.

--such a unique place! every room has its own unique design; primary design material is repurposed wood --this is not the fanciest place, but the intimate setting (and fabulous breakfasts!) made it feel absolutely luxurious -- and the price was really low too! --fantastic covered patio area right on the beach, and it is blessedly peaceful: just the sound of the ocean + no music being played

This is the prettiest place I have been in Bali and absolutely unique. It’s definitively the place to be in Amed. I recommend it wholeheartedly. The Lodge is a small compound consisting of a collection of very different cottages on different levels. The cottages are designed in a contemporary way but using an impressive collection of antique woods. The whole place is built out of recycled wood. I loved it so much that I kept extending my stay and so ended up moving around and experiencing three of the rooms. “Tulamben” had a huge luxurious bathroom. The room itself was very large too and with a nice sea view above the roof. Be aware that the stairs to the room are quite steep, and the bathroom is downstairs, so at night it can be a bit of a hassle. “Karangasem” had it’s own courtyard, with an outdoor slower on the lower level, then an intermediate level with the toilet and a large storage space, the next level had a bedroom with ocean view and on top of everything even a turret with a meditation /yoga space. Of the three cottages I experienced, only “Amed” had the toilet on the same level as the bedroom. This room is the one right at the beach with it’s own balcony, but the room itself is a little smaller that the other two. The Lodge is very well run by the sweetest staff. Nice linen, fluffy towels, great breakfast made to order and a good restaurant. They will make your room every day, but remember to ask or they will not bother you.

Beautiful location, right on the beach and wonderful accommodation. Stayed in the villa, with 3 levels, with bathroom at ground floor, a bedroom and another bedroom on top floor, with a tiny bathroom. The only inconvenience was the narrowness of doors to the bathroom, which having strong springs, made it hard to squeeze through. And the very low water pressure that made it hard to use it. The main ground floor bathroom was fine. Very friendly staff. Clean place and surprisingly, clean beach. Snorkeling from shore saw many corals. Great place and would love to visit again.

Absolutely wonderful spot in Amed, walk out onto the beach and snorkel about the reef. The staff are absolutely lovely and helped organise scooter rental and a driver to our next hotel. Only downside was that our room was a loft room with very steep stairs which were a little awkward to navigate.
