Relaxing basic villa set in a pleasant garden close to the beach

Didn’t have breakfast at hotel. Enjoyed the small pool, gardens, spacious rooms, close proximity to beach and main centre and friendly and efficient staff.

Bathroom floor could do with a scrub, shower water pressure was low. Low lighting for reading, no electric jug.

I was in a very basic room that I had to climb some very deep stairs too reach. The aircon was ineffective no matter what setting I put it on.

Pakels Villas, Amed

We had a room overlooking the beach and saw amazing sunrises, the room was clean and comfortable though we did not have breakfast here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Amed is a lovely resort quiet with some great places to eat. You have to visit sunset point a short walk out of Amed to get the view as the sun sets near Mount Agung

The rooms in this place are not cared for and so it feels unclean - don't recommend

The place looked nice and the restaurant attached to it is located right on the beach. Hot showers, good AC.

I had a bedbug in my first room, which discovered me on a nap, and the staff moved me without so much as an apology. And tiny ants all over the second room, including on the bed, as did my friend who stayed in another room in this property. The staff didn't clean my room the whole 4 days I stayed there - for no apparent reason, since they were always sitting around chilling, but my trash outside the balcony was visibly overflowing with plastic bottles for multiple days. The sheets and towels were all stained, and in my second room the pillows smelled horribly - like wet rags, I had to sleep with a (stained) towel on top of it just to kill the smell. I probably could have asked them to change them (but I ask why they have such nasty pillows in the first place) but I was honestly afraid of the new pillows having bedbugs so I didn't ask.

Not very comfortable

Location was nice

Toilet was loose, just a tiny little sink in the bedroom itself, massive bedroom but barely any furniture or cabinets to put things on or in. No drinking water available either. Its all very very basic. Okay for just a night but not comfortable enough for more. You could definitely get more comfort for this price here in Amed.

Ocean position lovely. We had the Seaview room .Staff were pleasant .

I do feel your photos on booking.com did not portray the villa as it was.The pool was nothing like the photo. There were no lounge chairs at all around pool. Pool maintenance poor. There were no shared kitchen or television as stated. Room has no glasses no drinking water and sheets were paper thin. We were supposed to stay 3 nights only stayed one. It was just too uncomfortable sleeping with nothing but a thin sheet.

Perfecto para despertarse y pisar la playa! Limpio y silencioso!

Buena habitación, buena ducha, agua calentita y a presión. Mucho espacio entre habitaciones y con unas vistas preciosas de su jardín. El hospedaje tiene piscina, warung y acceso directo a la playa...es ideal todo eso en un mismo lugar! Y rodeado de frangipanis. Ah también tienes agua siempre a disposición y son un encanto todo el staff.

La cama crujía muchisimo y me despertaba por la noche, quizás era solo en mi habitación, pero era muy molesto. Y el tamaño del lavavo. Demasiado pequeño para mi gusto, no me podía ni lavar la cara comodamente.

Les murs de la chambre étaient decrépis, une odeur d'égout émanant de la salle de bain dont la porte ne fermait pas, des rideaux tachés...bref, une chambre qu'il nous tardait de quitter. J'ai du mal à comprendre les avis postés sur cet hôtel ou alors il y a une grande différence entre les chambres...

Un vrai sentiment de vacances, les pieds dans le sable

Nous avons aimé la proximité de la plage et le restaurant juste en dessous ! Vraiment un sentiment de vacances, on n'avait qu'à descendre de la chambre pour avoir les pieds dans le sable. Super massage sur place pour un prix très correct. Le service de laverie était très fiable.

Oreillers pas du tout confortables. Découvrir sur place qu'on devait payer pour un lit supplémentaire alors que nous avions bien précisé dans la réservation que nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Une seule tranche de pain par petit déj et il faut payer un supplément pour en avoir plus !

Buena relación precio calidad

El precio es adecuado, las habitaciones están antiguas pero cumplen su función. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien y teníamos un balcón muy amplio. La ubicación está bien, se puede ir andando al supermercado, restaurantes, etc.

En general está todo un poco descuidado, la zona de la piscina no invita mucho a quedarse ahí, el balcón está bien pero solo hay dos tristes sillas donde sentarse. El baño es muy antiguo y el WC estaba muy muy bajo.

Tres bien situé et propre

L emplacement est parfait, proche du club de plongee français abyss, proche du rasta bar sur la plage pour les coktails, la vue sur la mer est tres agréable. C est la 2em année que nous venons dans cet hotel.

Nous avons pris les premieres nuits hors booking vue mer et nous avions dit que nous voulions rallonger, le moment venu personne n etait present pour prendre notre réservation et plus tard, la chambre etait prise. Nous avons donc du aller ailleurs puis nous avons repris sur booking. Un peu deçu nous aurions aimé plus de prevenance pour ça,,sinon tout etait parfait merci

La piscine est bien. Restaurants et plage juste à côté. Il y a une bonne clim (et heureusement !).

L'hôtel est délabré, mais vu le prix on fait avec. Le personnel ne nous a jamais demandé pour nettoyer la chambre. C'est pas le plus merveilleux des hôtels !
