Good value for money. Big room, and the location is nice and set away from the main part. It is walkable to town but most people use a scooter, there's plenty of cafes on the street anyway, and a good wurung (tirta) to eat at next door. The owners were helpful dropping me off for the shuttle bus, and taking me to atm. Many of the guests are staying for longer periods so you get to know people and they were all very quiet and polite.

Internet could be very slow. Really needs a mosquito net over the bed. A clothing rack indoors for dry/ clean clothes as well would also be great

I would choose a location close to swimming beaches and quieter neighborhood.

Generally clean. Frequency of room cleaning poor. Located to several good cafes and restaurants. Travel to snorkeling beaches requires transport. Generally noisy with dogs.

Amazing hosts, great location slightly outside of downtown Amed. Would 100% recommend.

The location was great! It's close to a small beach and many restaurants. Would definitely recommend getting a scooter (luckily you can rent this from Adore Guesthouse). The family that runs this place is so, so kind and accommodating! They also set up a private pickup for us through their related service, Hello Taxi. If you need a pickup from the airport or Denpasar area, definitely inquire about this service too. We stayed here for a week and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a budget place to stay in Amed.

The bathrooms were not amazing (clean but worn out), but because of the cost of the room, it's not that big of a deal. If you don't need a really nice bathroom, you'll be fine.

All you need for a short getaway

The place was nice and clean, very big and comfortable bed, big room, I had all the storage I needed. People who run it are very nice. Close to restaurants and shops, short walk to the seaside.

I liked the place, but maybe the bathroom needs a little revamp. Sink and toilet need a good bleaching or changing.

Perfect holiday stay with amazing location!

The room and bathroom was super spacious, clean and nicely organised. The terrace outside the room was also super nice, and perfect for enjoying the breakfast on. The breakfast served was simple (a banana pancake and some orange juice), but it was tasty and it did the job. The staff was also super nice and helpful.

The garden was having work done, and so the pool was not clean enough for me to want to use it. Location was amazing, however, at night there are many dogs out and they honestly scared me a little when walking home at night as they bark a lot and can come off as a little aggressive when they don't know you.

Pool was crystal clear! Garden well kept and peaceful. Room was perfectly cleaned. Which was very much appreciated and property well maintained. In this price bracket I have often found that the housekeeping is not always great and as per reviews. That is why I'd say this is the most important part of my review. ADORE IS VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED! 😍😊 The room is also double the size of properties in this price bracket!! On quiter side of TOWN which is great. Short walk from centre. 2 mins walk from beach. Right next to Kopikota coffee and eatery which has a great menu and very well priced. OVER ALL 10/10. I'm a very happy guest👍🏼😉👍🏼😉 Strong wifi. Host genuinely helpful and friendly. His English is exceptional which made it very easy for me as my Balinese is limited and my Bahasa Indonesia only on first level for basic communication.

Nice guesthouse in Amed. Lovely host. Bed comfortable. Wifi good. Nice big room with air con. Breakfast was banana pancake and tea or orange juice. Cafe 50 metres away. Eco cafe about 2 min drive away. Swimming pool was Clean.

Bad

At night I realised that bed had strong smell of urine! I checked the mattress and it confirmed: the mattress was covered with it! It was already dry. It is not possible not to recognise it while cleaning! They just left it. No one was in the property at the time I noticed it. It was not possible also to book another place at this time. The property did not charge me for that night, but I would payed twice not to experience it! P.S. the pillow covers were dirty as if they did not change it after 5 previous customers, but I saw it straightaway when I arrived and they changed it.

Very good

nice and helpful staff, good value for money, breakfast is ok (not much, but a good start in the day with a pancake and coffee), pool was clean, I can recommend staying at Adore.

If you’re not safe driving a scooter getting there and around can be difficult, walking to Amed is an option (not much further). But this is a general thing in the area and not a problem of Adore. The owner and his daughter have been super helpful at this topic.

Very nice stay

You can easily WhatsApp the guy who runs it & it was easy to extend the stay. Huge bed & has good air con, cleaned daily, there’s a kitchen etc. there’s barely anyone round the pool too so you feel like you have that to yourself. Lovely quiet location in Malasti with a laundry & restaurant close by

The girls leave at night which personally as a solo traveler I would rather there be someone there but that’s more of a personal thing

The rooms are really dark, you need to keep your door open to have some light during the day. The room are very big with very few equipements so it looks very empty. Pool wasn't clean.

Calm location, clean spacious rooms, really nice staff.

Tho rooms are clean and spacious. The air conditioner which doubles as a fan works very well and appears to brand new. The location is pretty calm because the road there is a dead end so no through traffic. I think what I appreciated the most was the owner, who was so great with communication. I did encounter some ants but it wasn’t a disaster or worth changing locations.

Maybe just the pool furniture is a bit old but besides that nothing.

big room and nice garden with a nice pool. breakfast was nice.

I was a bit disappointed because its more expensive than a lot of other places in Amed and has such a good rating but i don’t understand why. There is a tv in the room that doesn’t work and the bedside lamps wasn’t working either. there is just one very cold bulb in the ceiling so the lighting is not very nice and the room is not very cozy. no soap and not much toiletpaper provided. But i was comfortable there overall.

Excellent service, friendly, great location, large room size, large bathroom size, lovely balcony & terrace, pretry pool, beautiful entrance, lovely greenery and the amazing view of the rice fields and hills

No Internet (despite it showing up as a facility on Booking.com), no fan (AC must be kept on always, otherwise too hot), pancakes was the only option for breakfast (so had to eat out even though breakfast was part of the package), finally had to move out in one day to a place with better Internet because my work was suffering. Had paid in full for 6 nights. I did not ask for a refund, and none was offered, despite wrong info on Booking.com. I requested the host to update WiFi status as "not available" on Booking.com so that someone booking it knows, but as I checked now after a week, it has not been updated and the property still shows up as having free WiFi.

Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, toujours prêts à rendre service, aux petits soins ! La chambre et la salle d’eau étaient grandes et propres, un super confort, dans un environnement calme, à 500 mètres de la plage.

La famille qui s’occupe de cette Guesthouse est adorable, très souriante et de bons conseils. La piscine n’a pas de chenilles comme énoncé dans les commentaires précédents, et on peut louer des scooters et du matériel de snorkelling pour un prix dérisoire !

Nous avons eu un problème avec la climatisation mais qui a été réglé durant notre séjour. La wifi ne fonctionnait pas lors de notre dernier jour, ce qui est embêtant car notre réseau ne fonctionne pas dans ce coin. Mais le reste du séjour il fonctionnait parfaitement !
