Nice stay in Amed !

Property is in a great location, beachfront and walkable to main strip - with a gym close by. Pool and rooms were very clean at all times! The room is big, spacious, and they have a safe. Breakfast was also good :)

My shower was freezing cold 70% of the time, and the staff were friendly enough to check it - it worked once and went back to freezing cold.

Fantastic stay with super diving

Excellent staff, clean and comfortable accommodation and nice infinity pool. Excellent diving team. Ketut was a fantastic dive master and looked after me every step of the way. The equipment was good and the Belgian Manager, Emile? I think but I could be wrong, she was super helpful

Room was big, bathroom huge bed was comfortable, convenient location.

The whole place felt functional only. Room lacked any personal touches, bare walls lack of homely touch. Breakfast was basic. Didn't have that typical Balinese hospitality feel.

Clean room with good air conditioning

Small and busy location. Diving seemed solely focused on new divers and open water certifications. Arriving and having to get online to check-in gave a very negative first impression.

Amed is lovely and Bali Dive Resort is well located

The rooms were a good size and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the beach side location was a lovely setting, especially eating breakfast looking out at the ocean. We did a Discover Scuba course with Bali Dive Resort and Damian was excellent too. We loved Amed.

Fabulous hotel and great dive shop.

This is a fabulous hotel if you are staying in Amed. Right on the beach with modern rooms. Location is in the middle of the town with plenty of restaurants around. Restaurant overlooking the beach for breakfast. Nice pool, great staff. Also my wife did a dive with Damian from the dive shop, highly recommend, he was very good.

Nothing really but note that there isn't much snorkeling right in front of this hotel, you have to go down the beach 1km or to Jemeluk Bay or Lipah Bay. Do a day trip from the dive shop, it's not expensive and you will go on one of the local outrigger boats.

Nice big clean accommodation right on the beach

Big comfortable bed, nice big bathroom, lovely pool right on the ocean. Nice sitting area in the room as well as on the patio.

No tv in the room. The only negative I can think of.

Good value Resort

Location good with restaurants, spa's and super markets within walking distance. Staff all friendly and attentive. Good size fridge in room and freezer works well, ice cubes for my afternoon bevvies. There is a water jug in the room that you can refill from the restaurant water station.

There was no safe in the room. If you want to walk on the beach or go into the ocean, it's a good idea to wear water shoes as it can be a bit rough from the stones on your feet.

Beware of taxi rip off

Snorkeling was very good.

Would normally rate 8/10 however it was ruined by the local taxi mafia extortion. The hotel price was even higher still. No online grab etc possible. Staff didn't want to know and went along with the game. Shame!

Great stay and great diving!

The location was excellent. Staff are friendly and kind. The rooms are a little dated but spacious and very clean. The included breakfast was very good. We had several lunches there too. The dive school is great - I completed the Padi Open water dive course with Emilie who was very good.

Comfy stay in a great spot.

Set in a beautiful location on the beach among the fishing boats. Well kept gardens and lovely simple, but clean rooms. The staff were friendly and attentive. The dive shop arranged a great snorkeling trip for us.

Horrible maintenance of room

Friendly staff both at reception and dive centre. Ade and Kare were great at helping me with my equipment. Room was in terrible condition. Bed was comfy. But almost no water pressure. No hot water. There was a black out in the middle of the night causing the aircon to go off. Called management and they said issue was with powerlines. Location was good - amongst massage places and restos. I checked out a day early cuz of the poor maintenance and situation in the room. Told the staff they shouldn’t have checked in people into a room that had so many issues. They were good to issue my refund as requested.

Wonderful experience

The integration of the hotel stay with the diving school was very convenient. The place was very peaceful and quiet. The room and bathroom are huge and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have some sort of entertainment in the room like a TV.

Exceptional

Exceeded my expectations, good decisions were made! The view from the pool to the sea is a total winner. Rooms are nice and serviced daily. I need to make a special mention to two beautiful staff members that made my stay extra special - thank you Gede and Sana 🧡 gorgeous people.

Sometimes the water ran out in the bathroom. This happened twice during the stay but I simply used the communal facilities. Still a tiny bit annoying when you have toothpaste all down the front of you 😆

Amazing beachfront stay, clean, friendly and AC!

Huge rooms, with working AC, and right on the beach with the pool as well. The bathroom was crazy large, and the shower itself was a really good shower! Temperature and pressure overall. Bed were comfy, pillows a bit too big for my liking by all good. Fridge was huge. Nice staff.

Great spot to stay in Amed, close to everything,

Location was great, walking distance to some fantastic restaurants and it's right on the beach. The beach is quite long and great for walking or jogging and is nice soft sand. Rooms were comfy and had good amenities. It also had an outdoor shower and bath. The pool over looks the beach and is also really nice.

The paint and tiles are bit dated and could use a refresh but that's about it.

So good that we exteded our stay multiple times

Perfect location and a lovely pool with a view of the ocean. The rooms are super spacious and very clean. You can eat in their restaurant, but we preferred the many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Also, the diving offered by the dive school was well organized and perfectly guided.
