Comfortable stay with dedicated staff and delicious breakfast

Wow, I really loved my stay at Kubu Kangin Resort! The staff was incredibly helpful even in the weeks leading up to my stay, when they helped arrange a pickup for me in Padang Bai. I was interested in a peaceful trip, and Amed was the perfect place for this. I injured my leg before arrival and couldn’t walk much, so the staff’s help was crucial. I was so grateful to have a delicious breakfast onsite each day, which was a short walk from my room. Since I spent most of my time at the resort, I appreciated having a private space with a balcony where I could read and relax without moving much. The pool and grounds were stunning. I also liked Amed Espresso across the street and used Sarasta Laundry which was a 5 minute walk away. When I wanted to visit Sunset Point, the staff arranged a car for me. I can’t express how happy I was with my stay.

Positively surprised by the calmness. After travelling for a while in Bali, you get used to sleeping with ear plugs. None were needed here! Lovely family who runs it. Also attracts pleasant other travellers. A place to return to.

I had a very pleasant experience here, just what was needed. Nice location tucked up the road from restaurants, friendly staff, good service, nice accommodation. Ticked all the boxes.

wifi could have been better was patchy at times, but they did bring a booster to my room without me asking for it, so they must have been aware of it and were in the process of solving it.

The garden and the surroundings of the complex were beautiful. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and we used the pool which was very relaxing.

The road into town was very dark and dangerous. Surprised the hotel doesn’t do something about this.

Fantastic resort, had everything we wanted. The rooms were lovely, and the pool was divine—everything was at our doorstep. You are only a 7-minute walk from the main strip, where all the restaurants are located in town. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything!.. The attention to detail from the gardens to nice fragrant bed pillows.!! It felt like a sanctuary. Well done to the team!

Most comfortable beds. And the out door shower was amazing..great water pressure. Gardens spectacular. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample. Pool was great..and the cute little cat who I was so attached to..had to spoil him..such a cutie. Nice relaxing vibe.

Because I was not able to ride motor bike the distance to get around Amed a bit more was only issue... I'm a little older than the young tourist who visit amed..

From the moment I arrived I knew I would like my stay here. The place is just like the pictures. The staff were really friendly and gave me a welcome drink then showed me to my room. The room was spotless and very well appointed. I really liked the outdoor shower. The swimming pool was awesome. There are sections - a shallow pool and a deeper one. I liked to lie in the shallow one rather than swim up and down. Most people seemed to spend the day out exploring so once or twice i had the pool to myself for the day. I didnt learn to drive a scooter before I came to Bali and I knew that would mean I had to rely on taxis etc so I wasnt expecting to go anywhere fast. The staff were so lovely and gave me scooter rides to one of the beaches and to the sunset viewpoint. I really appreciated that level of service. Breakfast is included or you can order some add-ons for a bigger breakfast if you want. Honestly I didnt feel the need as the breakfast is a good size and had several options. If I came back to Amed again I would definately stay here. It was a great experience.

Loved staying here, gardens are beautiful, house is so cool and authentic. Staff is really nice, the cats are a big plus.

Lovely little oasis in Amed

The location was great as it was easy walking distance to the main street and restaurants. The grouds are gorgeous and well kept and returning there after a day out is like coming back to a peaceful oasis. Wayan and his colleagues were adorable and helpful, always with smiles and a good sense of humour. I highly recommend a stay at Kubu Kangin.

Nice clean resort, 750m walk to the beach. About 1.5km walk to some good cafes and restaurants.

Free breakfast was very basic and any good options for breakfast you had to pay for which should really be included.

Hidden gem in Amed

We loved our stay at Kubu Kangin so much! The garden is so spacious with only 4 rooms, a lovely large pool and a cute small breakfast area. The villa's have enough space between them, have very nice decorations, lovely bed and great outdoor bathroom and verandah. The staff members are all so friendly and helpful. We went to several beaches and restaurant by own scooter, but the resort can also arrange transport. Also have to say that we usually stay at beachfront properties in Amed, this was the first time we stayed a little further and we were pleasantly surprised the air was so fresh, it was less hot than seaside, bonus! Really a hidden gem!

Hidden little gem in Amed. The huts are grouped in a beautiful Garden with Pool. Staff is super friendly and helpfull and gives Tipps for excursions. Kubu Kagin Hotel is on a side street and therefore away from the hustle and bustle. However, the beach and Amed with all the Warungs are within a 5 minute walk. Rooms and outdoor Bathroom ist really nice and clean. Just the room get's really hot during the Day, but with the aircone this is no Problem. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Amed. My Sister and I would have loved to stay longer, but Holiday got to a close.

Beautiful Stay

The infrastructure is beautiful, however there was a lot of noise starting from 8am due to construction work next to the complex. Staff was very nice, and super efficient. The room was cleansed everyday, and bed very comfortable.

Location a bit far from Amed center, it is best to have a way of transportation.

Lovely place to stay in Amed!

Great accommodation, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. We felt very welcomed by the team, and the garden/swimming pool area are very peaceful! Located near the beach, it's perfect for sunrises and sunsets. We walked to the main diving sites (they offer motorbikes and snorkeling gear if needed). We absolutely loved staying there during our time in Amed, would come back again for sure :D

This was the most beautiful place where we stayed while in Bali. It is like a little oasis. The village itself is not very picturesque but once in the garden, you forget all about it. They arranged all the transport for us. Cute breakfast and the option to order food from a nearby restaurant to your room. Lovely people :

Beautiful and great with kids.

The most beautiful place in Amed. We loved staying at Kubu Kangin. The guys working here we’re superb! It was very clean and the food great. The pool lovely and also great with kids. Great shower with hot water.

It had a slight smell of wet season. But I think that is hard to completely be without after corona and in the midst of wet season. The Cabin itself felt very dry. Remember a flashlight for walking back from the town, so the cars can see you in the dark.

When we come back to Amed, we’ll come back here

The place was great, with such a nice garden, we enjoyed the pool and the bungalow was big with good bed and everything clean. It’s located near the Main Street of Amed but not so close to hear noise, at night was everything calm, only few animal noises which is normal being surrounded by nature. Also, the staff was so friendly and helpful, they provided us with everything we asked, we really enjoyed staying here.
