Clean, hot water pressure, AC, decoration simple and spacious, amazing view of Mount Agung. Great location, very quiet, surrounded by rice fields, walking distance to cafes and restos. Kind and helpful staff and owners.

There’s a slight smell in the sink after you run the water. There’s a small dirt road leading up to the Inn, which was not a problem for me at all. But if you’re older or have any limitations walking it could be good to share that before hand.

Comfortable rooms in quiet area with lovely view

The place is lovely, the room was clean and I liked that they prepared breakfast for the time I wanted. It wasn't too far from the beach, restaurants and shops. The view is great and it is very quiet.

Nothing much. I knew about the ants in the room from the reviews, so I wasn't surprised when I found some on the wall. The lady who took care of the cleaning spoke a bit broken English, so it happened that both my friend and I paid for the beers we had, because she didn't understand well that we only had the beers once, but we both wanted to pay for the other one, so we ended up paying twice. It got straightened out, though.

Enjoyable and welcoming stay.

Lovely and very accomodating hosts. Brilliant view of the mountain and surrounding by local farms.

The only issue for me was that there was some noise coming from the main road. The sound of the motor bikes and cars seemed to travel easily to the property despite it being situated some distance from the road.

Beautiful location with good amenities

Lovely location. They provided water, offered scooters for rent and offered breakfast (although we didn't need it). The view was beautiful. Within walking distance or a short scooter ride to many good restaurants, breakfast and otherwise. Staff was very kind and helpful.

AC worked OKAY. I feel like it wasn't the temperature that the unit showed. Not as cool as other places that also had AC. Not sure if its a seasonal thing but several days we were there, neighboring fields were burning piles of miscellaneous stuff causing smoke to enter the room. Since it the room is not well sealed there is no way to prevent the smoke from getting in.

A perfect getaway in Amed

We had a wonderful stay at Agun Inn Amed. The girls in charge were always kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The place itself is spectacular — peaceful, very clean, and with absolutely stunning views. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy Amed.

The landladies at Agung Inn are simply amazing, as they do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms have the perfect size and are very comfortable and clean.

Not the nicest experience, go for the quiet and views

Nice comfortable rooms and view

The only way to communicate with the staff is through whatsapp, noone to be found when you need them and answers in whatsapp take time: one day we woke up without water,we had to run downstairs try to shout to find someone to help us and fix it, one afternoon we arrive and wifi was not working, nooone helped us, when finally answered our whatsapp they said they were aware and that they didnt know when it will be back, nobody warned us in advance. You need to order breakfast on whatsapp and schedule a time the night before, no water or any kind of amentity like handsoap in the room, only towels.in general you feel “abandoned” to your own luck in a hotel with no much arround but a main road. At night you hear everything cracking and all the noises of the main road, otherwise when i fell asleep it was very comfortable and colud sleep the whole night without waking up.

The room was clean, view from the property was lovely, breakfast was nice and the owner was very helpful - especially when arranging a birthday cake for my partner. The property is a bit further from the restaurants but that is a sacrifice if you want a nice view, still easily accessible by moped!

The shower looked nice but it wasn’t very practical.

Located in the green while close to the sea

Initially we booked one of the rooms upstairs which at the end wasn’t for us but luckily we could change to a room on the ground floor. The room is simply furnished but functional and spacious. The location is close to a few nice cafes and restaurants and a short walk from the beach, while still being within the green. It comes with a great view on the jungle and mountains. Additionally, there is an excellent laundry service: affordable prices, delivery within the same day, clothes dried by the sun and nicely smelling and folded.

The only accepted form of payment is cash, which can be difficult if the stay is for a longer time, considering the limits and fees of withdrawing cash from a local ATM. On a surface level the room was clean but a deep cleaning would be required once in a while. For example, we found dust and empty bottles under the bed. Those are easy things to fix.

The room is very clean with all the essentials. The view from the balcony was incredible. The owners were very sweet and responsive. Breakfast was delicious. The owners hooked us up with scooter rentals, which made transport around town very easy.

Lovely spot in Amed

The view from my balcony looked across to Mt Agung. It was stunning. I also love that it was a 5 minute walk to watch the sunrise at the beach. One of my favourite things to do in Amed. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, although the Wi-Fi never really worked while I was there. There was also a power outage while I was there which was a little annoying, but I think it was for part of the town as well The owner is very accommodating and supportive for whatever you need which made the experience wonderful. I also did my laundry there and they were amazing . Such a great service.

The pathway to the hotel is not paved and has big rocks which were tripping hazard often. The pathway was also very dark to come home on at night.

Amed paradise

Beautiful stay onlooking Mount Agung. Amazing, clean room and great breakfast each day. Ketut was great and very helpful - arranged transport pick up from Padang Bai. Is a bit further from the town centre but doesn’t take too long to walk! (10 mins)

Delightful rooms with striking views of Mt Agung

The rooms were clean and very quiet . The upstairs rooms have a nice wooden feel, its feel like being in your own personal hut facing towards the amazing Mt Agung Beds were comfortable , and the A/C worked well. Friendly hotel staffed would check with me and gave the room a clean every second day . You can purchase breakfast from the host , and have it on your balcony facing the mountain

Great hosts, nice rural feel.

Lovely owners, both speak good English. Great view of the volcano, nice room with desk for working and pleasant veranda. Only three rooms so not busy and more personal attention. Owner Ketut is also a driver so can take you where you want to go or pick you up from airport providing enough notice. Optional breakfast for 600K. Couple of great eating places 100m down the road offering great Indonesian and vegetarian meals. Overall lovely rural feel away from the business and beach which is about 500m away.

Need to walk from road about 50-75m along a narrow track to get to it. OK for motorbikes, but not cars. Can be a bit tricky at night so use a torch and watch your step in the rainy season (mud, water, etc). About 500m to bars, etc. Walking OK but be careful on the S bend as you get closer as there is no footpath.

Best place I've stayed in Bali!

I've stayed in a few places in Bali and Agung Inn was by far my favorite! It's set amongst rice fields with a stunning view of Mount Agung in the front and green hills to the left. It's a little bit away from the road so it's not too noisy. Also away from the center of Amed but within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The room is beautifully minimally decorated and has lots of light and it was clean! The WiFi was great, too. The best part of my stay were the hosts! Putu and Ketut went out of their way to not only help with anything I needed, but also to make me feel welcome. I hope to come back one day and I would 100% recommend Agung Inn to anyone visiting Amed.

Perfect stay )

We cannot recommend this accommodation enough! The room was perfectly clean and the view is all you can wish for. Putu and Ketut did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible - they took care of everything we needed: scooter rental, laundry, boat tickets, transport to the port. Their hospitality and kindness will make you love Amed <3

Bad

The room is relatively newly renovated and there is no mold smell which is great.

Location is bad. You have to pass through a rice field and the surrounding smell is shit. Its literally shit as neighbours raise animals (pigs, chickens, etc). You step in shit and mid on your way to the room. There is no road or concrete path. As you are in the middle of the jungle its natural to have any type of insects in your room. The Geckoo lizards in the room are ok. As the owner said - they are everywhere. We named ours Gecki. He was taking care of all the mosquitos, flies and the other unidentified flying creatures. Gecki was a good boy but there was another one trying to eat Gecki. WE NAMED HER Sneaky - yep, a decent snake living in the room. Almost gave us a hearth attack when she revealed. Owner picked her up and moved her out of the room but that was enough to lose our sleep. Owner said he would refund us if we find anothet snake but unfortunately there was only one... we did our best, moved all the furniture, the bed matress, etc but there was no other snake in the room. Just Sneaky. Nevertheless, while looking for another snake in hope to get some of our money back, we encountered a pack of ants that had invaded our bananas and a tarantula like spider. We named him Speedy but he was quite fast and we could not catch him. He was also hairy. I read Speedy usually feeds on Mosquitos and insects so we felt additional layer of security with him under our bed all night. Especially my girlfriend. I wont comment on the shower. You have to see it for yourslef. I hope Gecki and Speedy and doing ok. We kind of miss them.
