Value with views

Big room, good value for money, nice balcony. Excellent staff. Short walk to the beach. Lots of steps depending on your room, which I liked as it gave you a view.

Paradice place

It is a very cozy room 9n a paradisiac spot. It is so beautifull to wake up in the morning with those nice views, the room is clea, confortable and nice, and the staff is so familiar, helpfull and attentive.

Good acomodation with nice view and breakfast.

Nice view from the balcony. Sufficient size of the room, nice lady of the house.

The apartements are in the steep Hill,so if you got one of those on the top, you have to walk a lot of on stairs. The shower was leaking. Now city is repairing a piece of road directly in front of the accomodation, so there was a lot of heavy machinery, dust and noise.

A lovely simple accommodation tucked away in the quieter part of Amed

It’s quietly tucked away a bit further from the busy main section of Amed. The orientation of the individual, layered rooms facing the sea gives spectacular views.

Nothing, it’s a great basic accommodation with somewhat older facilities but clean rooms.

Wonderful views and great host

The views from the room where beautiful. The owner, Ketut, is super nice. She practiced Indonesian language with me, I felt super at home in my trip. Only thing, some rooms have no A/C but just a fan. It's okay as it's indicated in the description. The room has a cover for mosquitoes and worked perfectly so I slept with the door open and didn't get any bite. Just because these days were super hot, but usually Amed is not that hot in the night. Said this, I would come back :)

Breakfast maybe.... but because I like clean food, but she cooks nice and for the price it is more than enough. Anything else, again, perfect!

Superb

Wonderful family who run this homestay! So kind and friendly, the restaurant and homestay next door is also run by the extended family (sister I think) and it's so wonderful to be able to stay somewhere authentic and feel you're getting to know and supporting local people (unlike the big businesses in the south west!). The breakfast was also very tasty and the Bali coffee was drinkable (I'm usually not a fan). Also the views from each room's balcony are stunning. Ooh and the mosquito net is great, it goes all the way around a four poster bed so it doesn't feel like you're being smothered in your sleep 😅

Our room only had one sun lounger, it would have been nice to have had two seeing as there were two of us staying.

Not during the rainy season.

The staffs were great, friendly and helpful. Room had great view, bed was clean

I arrived in the rainy season and the whole place was swarmed with millipede. They were on the walls and stairs along the pathway to the room (at the top) but there were sooo many that completely grossed me out. I checked in and braced as i hopped my way into the room. Contemplated on fleeing the next day while staying put in the room for a night for i didn't want to step outside the milipede infested pathway. Rooms smelled mouldy, walls were water stained with paint peeling off (mould underneath) and the surprise was, i found a millipede in the bathroom and another at the sink (which wasn't in a good state), room had poor lighting too. After seeing the millipede inside the room and bathroom, i packed up and left immediately for Padang bai. Room can seriously use a makeover.

cheap, but uncomfortable and dirty. Not to be recommended

I liked the personal. Up where I was, I didn’t hear the road. I presume it’s rather well situated in the Amed-region (I couldn’t do anything anyways, as it was raining all the time)

I arrived, the room was full of moskitos due to the fact that the light of the terrace was on when I arrived in the dark. As you could not close the door to the terrace properly they came in. I found it quite dirty. There was no hot water, a fact you could only guess by reading the description of the place. Due to the weather I had to stay indoors most of the time and didn’t feel comfortable at all. Geckos (large ones, 40cm) went in the room repeatedly through unknown holes. When I was leaving, transport was offered to me, but for a price that was out of question and this disappointed me. I got a ride organised from the neighbouring house for nearly half the sum which was acceptable. In general transport is a big problem in areas like Amed where there is no Gojek/Grab. The local Taxis-mafia asks for phantasy sums

No one was there upon arrival at 4pm had to get Neighbour to call owner then wait for staff to come also the room wasn’t ready so had to wait for room to be made. Property was run down.

A view to die for!

- The view is spectacular from the balcony in this room, a 12/10, it's truly phenomenal - but not for those who find it difficult to climb stairs! - Owners are nice and the breakfast was good.

- Big issue was the key which couldn't lock the door. Only a problem with this room I assume but they need to fix it. Had to leave it unlocked as even the owner struggled. Still probably very safe as it is tucked away far from anyone who might think to steal things but not ideal for a hotel room. - Wifi is not very strong.

Wir würden das Homestay weiterempfehlen!

Super Lage, wenn man ein ruhiges Homestay sucht, von dem aus man trotzdem schnell in Amed und am Strand ist. Der Weg direkt zum Strand dauert nur 3 Minuten (etwas versteckt, über die die Straße neben den Mülltonnen). Die Mitarbeiter waren allesamt sehr freundlich. Wir haben direkt beim Homestay einen Scooter zu einem guten Preis ausgeliehen und es gab auch kein Drama, als wir damit einen kleinen Unfall hatten. Der Aufstieg zu den Zimmern erfolgt über eine steile Treppe, allerdings wird man mit einer tollen Aussicht von der Terasse belohnt. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet und war lecker. Wir empfehlen das Omlett mit Gemüse. Preis Leistung 10/10. Vielen Dank an das Bukit Indah Homestay!

Der Komfort lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Keine Klimaanlage, dafür aber einen Ventilator.

EXCELENTE ALOJAMIENTO

El alojamiento está rodeado de vegetación, y tiene vistas al mar, lo que hace que el entorno sea increíble! La familia es un amor, los niños súper educados. La habitación muy limpia, sin olor a humedad, las toallas con olor a limpio, así como las sábanas. La terraza es un plus. El desayuno, variado tanto en la comida como en la bebida, muy bueno. Para mí y mi pareja, una estancia de 10.
