Frustrating experience; I was counting the days

The view only from the upper floor was beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. It’s a good location near a few of my favourite cafes although town and a lot of the snorkeling spots are a 15min+ drive away.

Communication was abysmal - when I arrived they weren’t expecting me and looked very confused and flustered. The taxi driver even waited with me for about 20 minutes to make sure it was okay, because there are no taxis around in case I had to go elsewhere. I booked a room with the photos of the upstairs, but because they didn’t seem prepared for my arrival, so I spent about 3-4 nights in the dingy downstairs room that was dark and smelled damp and mouldy. The host was only responsive up until I asked to adjust my dates and ignored my messages even up until I left - I just handed my cash over to the girl working there that day even though I gave days of notice (this place has a 24h cancellation) but I paid the full amount anyway, and they even tried to say something about a penalty fee when I paid for 3 days of an empty room they could rent out after my departure. One of the staff also stated a different rate to what was on Booking, but I paid according to the local currency stated on Booking because that’s what I agreed to and expected. It all seemed quite dishonest. The fan in the upstairs room was hanging by a wire and the jangling around was so loud, but the air con was so mouldy I didn’t have another option, so it was hard to sleep through the night. There was also an insane amount of gecko poop on the stairs like it had never been cleaned over the last several years.

Nice place but too noisy for me

The place was very clean and spacious, and the view from the terrace was beautiful.

I am very sensitive to noise and unfortunately it was very noisy in my room (the walls are thin and the place is just next to the road). I couldn't sleep and I decided to change the place after 1 night. The staff was very nice and understanding and they didn't charge me for the rest of my stay.

Stay was Okayish!

Firstly - The rooms on the 1st floor are the best one’s, go for them if available, highly recommended! Secondly - It was our anniversary and the bed was decorated before our arrival which was a very special gesture must say! Loved it! Third - The lady who used to make us breakfast every morning was very generous, humble and caring!

Cons - No daily housekeeping services No towels or toiletries replenished during the stay Sofa cushions at the terrace were very dirty to use

Amazing home stay! The room was massive, great views. Bathroom was one of the cleanest we have experienced in Bali. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Massive comfortable beds. Location was really good - a little out of the hustle and bustle but so many great restaurants near by. The warning down stairs was lovely! Highly recommend, would return. We stayed here 3 nights.

The road nice from the traffic was noticeably very loud but nothing we couldn’t handle. It would be nice if they did housekeeping during your stay.

Nice sunset view

The staff is very nice and helpful, everything is new, the room is realy big, clean and confortable and they offere a very good breakfast, with several options. The water has a very good pressure and the AC is new and very good. From the first floor you have a grate view of the hills and mount Agung.It is very nice at sunset.

It would be a good thing to have a fridge in the room or in a common space because at night the fridge in the breakfast area is colosed and you can't have a cold drink. The wifi is not very good.

Exceeded our expectations

Staff are very friendly. Helped us with cheap (local price?) boat tickets to Gilli T (boattrip was perfect). The room couldn't be cleaner. The location was perfect. The view from the room was our best view in Bali. Very nice location. Do recommend a scooter rent. Breakfast was nothing fancy but filled our bellies before exploring Amed.

There was no protection from the sun whilst having breakfast. A little noisy because of busy road.

Excelente alojamiento calidad-precio

Reservamos solo por 1 noche y nos terminamos quedando 9 noches, las vistas desde la habitacion son increíbles. La habitacion es amplia y luminosa, la cama muy comoda. La ducha funcionaba bien y tenia agua caliente. Nosotros trabajamos remoto y el wifi funcionaba bien. Además el personal es muy amable y siempre dispuestos a solucionar cualquier inconveniente. Definitivamente volveremos a este alojamiento si volvemos a amed.

Que necesitas moto para ir al centro (te consigue alquiler de moto ella, a un precio razonable), aunque esté cerca. Sobre todo de noche, porque andar por la carretera a oscuras puede ser algo peligroso. Y que no tenía un sitio con llave para dejar cosas de valor.

Un paradis avec un sourire balinais

Une des nuits les plus paisible et tranquille que j’ai eu de ma vie. Une vu à couper le souffle sur la montagne. Le receptionist et la personne qui a préparé le petit déjeuner sont aux petits soins et très gentils. Un havre de paix vue sur rizière. Chambre climatisé et très spacieuse
