Enjoyed the stay

The AC was on a perfect temperature all day so not too cold not hot either, the fact that we all had our little private separate bed with curtains with our own light was nice. Big locker and key, and nice breakfast served quickly. The girls there were so nice and helpful, stayed with me up to the moment my taxi arrived. There are 2 bathrooms right next to shared room outside which was practical. Towels are provided 👍🏼

I had the bed that was furthest away so wifi hardly worked there so bit annoying. There isn’t really a chill out area to socialise, so more of a chill place.

Worth booking!!!

Which means the room is always tidy. The staff were amazing probably the friendliest staff I have met in 5 months of backpacking. And this is super good value for money!

Please fix the bathroom locks. Something so simple makes a huge difference in a mixed dorm

OK for a week but expected better maintenance

Central location to several of the freediving centres and some food options on the main road.

Hostel needs maintenance - clear clogged drains in shower, replace shower head stands, bathroom could use a good scrub especially the floor, walls and ceilings repainted.

Excellent location, Nice staffs, Value for money

Breakfast was simple and good. Really nice staffs and very helpful. Can rent snorkelling gear for 40k which is a good deal. Place was always kept clean. Lilly will make your day with her cuteness :)

Had to leave!

Unfortunately I could not stay because the room was very dusty under the bed, there were mould in the walls, including the bathroom, the paint from the walls was coming off, the light switch was totally falling from the wall with a lot of wires exposed. Additionally, the curtains were extremely dirty. I had allergy crisis in the moment I stepped in so if you are prone to respiratory allergies would advise to not stay there.

We booked 2 beds in the dorm. The privates look a little nicer, I can’t speak to those, but the shared bathrooms and showers were filthy and moldy. :-(. Towel smelled like mold. Stains on my sheets. Air con leaking. Bed bugs were found in the dorm. We left early because we didn’t want to risk it. It seems like this property has recurring issues with this, which is not surprising given the lack of hygiene around the property. It’s a budget place, but damn it was rough… Also another downside was that there is no real common areas. Just small kitchen table so we found ourselves spending money to chill at restaurants which defeats the purpose of this budget rate lol.

Great hostel in Amed

wonderful staff, very good bed and good cleanliness

It would be nice if the toilets and the showers were in separate rooms. Some hooks at the wall next to the bathroom sinks would be a good improvement, so it would be possible to hang up the towel and other stuff. It was quite loud sometimes because of the location directly at the main road, but with earplugs it was ok to sleep.

We loved it, great place to stay and perfect location close to everything without the noise

The breakfast was included and was made fresh every morning by the staff. It was very tasty and was quickly made whenever we asked them :)

Would have been nice to have a musquito net abive the bed as at night we had to go hunting for musquitos a few times

The staff is ok. They serve you breakfast; pancakes with tea or coffee. Now when it comes to price, and worth the money, it is good.

The place not very clean. Also I open the refrigerator to place something inside, it was disgusting. I had to tell them. The hostel is locater on a main road. Vehicles running continuasly. Dangerous for animals.

Very comfortable and clean dorm. Nice solid bunks. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. A delicious banana pancake breakfast and coffee was provided in the morning. Great location right by the beach and sunset point. Fairly quiet but still met some great people.

Good budget option with enough privacy in the dorm.

- generally kind staff/family - cheap snorkel rental 20k without/30k with fins

- a lot of ants in the bedroom - gap between matress and frame is quite dirty - no blankets available (only sheets) - I had to use my inlay sleeping bag, long pyjamas and was still freezing in the mornings when it got colder and the AC was still on the same level. turning it down as suggested by the owner only helped little as it takes a while for the room to warm up again. Blankets and a more thorough clean would make a big difference.

Good value for price!

Beds are comfy, ac worked well. Good water pressure, hot water in shower. The breakfast was really good (banana pancake with honey). Staff super sweet. One of the cheapest spot in town.

There’s not really any chilling area, just the kitchen table which is pretty small and not very comfy. Also, it could be cleaner.

the location is perfect. the bedd comfortable and clean. lot’s of space for a backback/suitcase. A lot of privacy with the curtains. airconditioning. free water refill and good breakfast!

Great value for price!

For that price the accomodation is really good! the beds are nice, you have a really big locker, bed light, a power plug and curtains. it’s actually not a real bunk bed but two levels with solid stairs, therefore the top beds are really nice as well. Bathrooms are good with hot and cold showers. The owners are very helpful. he booked me a shuttle and ferry to nusa penida and when I told him one of the showers is broken he immediately repaired it. the hostel dog is cute! Breakfast included.

It’s a small hotel/hostel with one hostel room (6 pax I think) and some private rooms. Therefore it is not a typical hostel vibe and it depends if the other people are social or not. I had a good time though :)

Amazing, would stay hete again.

The staff (man/woman) were both very nice! I was sick the second day and the man was very understandable and cleaned up the mess that I've made. I felt very sorry but he wasn't mad :) Breakfast was also very good!

Exceptional

The location is perfect for a transfer to Gili Trawangan. The ticket "office" is just a few steps away. On the next day you don't need a transfer because you can just walk to the beach and board the boat. Wifi is crucial because there is no reception there. The breakfast is standard. The staff is so lovely. We arrived on a scooter and they allowed us to leave it on their perfectly safe parking spot when we left for Gili T.

Mustiness Amed in general is a joke. Similar to Lovina. Dirty, ugly beach.

Great Money value, perfect Location

I had a great stay in the Hostel. It was Clean, comfy and a has very relaxed Atmosphere. The Hosts are very Kind and organise a Scooter, snorkel, a boat or Transport if you ask for it. I stayed way longer than i planned because it is such a beautiful relaxing place. I highly recommend it!

very good location, nice breakfast, chill hostel

there was a poop stain on my bed sheet. found out late at night when I went to bed and couldn’t reach the staff (got sheets from an empty bed). the morning after, I told them and they didn’t really say anything. idk I’m sure this was just a one time thing and generally they were nice, but yeah. that happened.

Exceptional

The perfect little place! In the center and by the beach, so easy to walk anywhere including from the boat if you’re coming from gilis/ Lombok. I stayed in the hostel and it was nice and private with plenty of space for my things in a locker. Free refills on water and the perfect little breakfast was included. Definitely recommend!!

+ The staff were lovely and helpful, even taking me on their scooters to an ATM and to the ferry port. + A nice and modern purpose built dorm with all the necessities. + Banana pancake with honey and tea/ coffee for breakfast. + Across the road from the beach and near several restaurants.

- The bathrooms were a bit grubby and full of spiders and cob webs. Needed a deep scrub.
