Our stay was comfortable, the pool was a plus.

A comfortable oasis. Although the setting was not the best once in the door of the property it was lovely. The bedroom was very attractive. The daughter who ran the property was very helpful.

Unfortunately the plumbing was lacking from the handle to start the shower which dropped off to the tap to the sink not attached to the sink top. The television made no attempt to to work, it was clearly shown in the advertisement of the property.

Beautiful hotel in Amed

Beautiful little hotel just off the Main Street in Amed - no signs but if you head to Rimba Cafe, it’s just down the dirt road. Room was spacious and clean with lovely decor. We made use of the loungers and the pool during our stay too. The family who run this hotel are so friendly and welcoming - they took great care of us, even arranging for their son to taxi us to the port for our onward travel. Overall, it was the perfect base for us in Amed - we would definitely recommend!

Great location, almost opposite an alley way leading straight to the beach. Really tastefully designed buildings and interior furnishing. Lovely spacious interior, very comfy bed, lovely decor and nice that the whole complex is only 5 rooms. Gorgeous swimming pool!

The neighbouring property is a shocking mess which is the first thing you notice as you drive down the alley to the Mango5 hotel. There’s also no sign to indicate the hotel’s name on the main road. However this doesn’t matter once inside the hotel courtyard it’s gorgeous and you don’t see the messy property next door. Breakfast was included but the serving size was only enough for a young child. The property needs to invest in some new crockery, cutlery, glasses and a new kettle. There’s no kettle in the rooms, but you can boil water using their kettle, which is pretty old and grubby looking.

Wayan and his family are fantastic, and the little hotel is beautiful. Located in a quiet street tucked away from noise, but only 50m from the main area of amed. Closely situated near fantastic cafe and restraunts. I highly recommend the property. We were welcomed and look forward to returning.

Could do with a little more storage. Fridge in all rooms, though not a big deal. I highly rate the property and is fantastic value. I'd stay again and again.

A comfortable stay for budget travelers who are looking for a bit more privacy than hostel

Location is great! Quiet yet in the middle of the city and walking distance from the beach. Rooms are very spacious.

The water taps were in a condition of repair. The breakfast wasn’t great

Nice place

The lady was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was good with air-conditioning and hot shower and a fridge. The bed was comfortable, plus a wardroom / cupboard to store your stuff. Small pool and chairs and table outside accommodation. Close to shops and restaurants would definitely stay there again

Lovely stay

The staff was very nice. Also it is well located and quiet at the same time. The breakfast is very basic (the only option is banana pancakes with coffee or orange juice) but it was very tasty 😋

The HDMI of the TV did not work very well. The pillows were not very comfortable for us.

Would highly recommend!

The owners were really lovely and very attentive. The coffee and fresh juice were delicious and so was the banana pancake although a little small but still very good for the overall price we paid for our stay. The accommodation was very beautiful, large room and bathroom with good A/C and WiFi. We rented a scooter for 70k for the day and 2 snorkels for 60k (an extra 60k for 2 pair of flippers). The owner also offers a taxi service if required. Great location, really quiet and walking distance to the beach and loads of restaurants. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks in the photos but this was no issue at all especially as you are so close to the beach.

We loved this place, the bed is comfortable, room stays fresh even during the day, it’s only 4 rooms so you don’t see a lot of people around which gives some privacy. The location is great, a bit behind the main street so it’s quieter. The couple that manages it are super kind and helpful.

Exceptional

Our stay at Mango 5 began with the owner driving a 5+ hour round trip to collect us from Ubud for an incredibly reasonable price, his service went above and beyond when we had to ask him to come and help with an issue we had at 11:30pm one night all with a smile on his face. We were incredibly happy with our room, especially with being able to watch Netflix on the TV. The bed was very comfortable. There is a useable kitchen, I would say just watch out for ants when cooking (this is no fault of the owners/property). The location is pretty perfect! A 30 second walk from a lovely cafe and lots of local warungs, supermarkets, dive centers in the area too (all within walking distance). The beach is down a small alley across from the hotel (approx 1 minute walk), Jemeluk Beach/snorkeling is only 20 minute's walk too! The highlights were definitely the owners/staff's kindness and rooms!

great location for Amed and Rimba Cafe which is a really nice restaurant less then a minute walk away. room was lovely, comfortable bed and good air on. the scooter you can rent during your stay was reasonably priced and they supplied helmets- no problems there.

the breakfast was quite limited- only banana pancake offered. Although this was nice I saw a photo when I booked of fruit etc and this is not what you get when you stay.
