Gorgeous location, beautiful stay.

We've been to Wawa Wewe a number of times and we just love it. Its not super fancy, but it has everything you need - lovely rooms, direct ocean views, infinity pool, great cheap food. It feels like it could be your own place, like you're own backyard its so chilled. Waters just in front of the resort are perfect for snorkelling.

A totally minor thing, but be great if you could get a good cocktail. I'm being picky - the beer is fine and cold :) Also some quiet background music around lunch and dinner time in the restaurant would be cool. There used to be a guy who played the guitar, that was amazing.

Comfortable cabin and courtyard, hot water

The hotel and its courtyard are very nice. Nice pool on a hot day. Hot showers, nice Italian restaurant near by. Scooter rentals next door so easy to get around to all of the beaches.

A few mosquitos in the room but they had good quality mosquito nets. It’s rainy season there wasn’t great swimming in the ocean at this time of year.

The pool NEEDS repairing before someone badly hurts themselves. Look elsewhere.

Location is good with some very nice restaurants close by.

Beds are rock hard, no linen over doona which was dirty. We had a family room and the top section of the loft was nearly impossible to sleep in, children had poor sleep due to no insulation in roof and only a small fan. It was extremely hot up there. The pool has large parts of tiles that have cracked and fallen out, VERY sharp edges on pool steps and pool flooring. Do not bother paying for breakfast or a room with breakfast included, it’s not worth it. The food in the restaurant is terrible. There was a resident cat who without exaggeration, meowed and cried for 20 hours of the day.

Location was good. Beach access easy and food options near by. Room was large with big windows. Don't think the safe worked. Breakfast was good.

The bathroom! Cockroaches in the bathroom that would escape under the door into the room. They were terrible. I told staff they were there. Many mosquito's in the bathroom. The bathroom looked like it needed a good clean, especially the shower Had to wear thongs when showering.

Mosquitos in room, but not unusual for Bali. Make sure you are judicious with your mosquito net. Water pressure in the shower was too low. But not enough to spoil our beautiful time.

Mixed Experience.

The location, the view, the room was really good. The infinity pool was excellent though lighting around the area was not enough to swim in the evening.

Hospitality, professionalism were not good. The quality and options of food were not at all good. For snorkeling they provided us with faulty and unclean gears.

A very enjoyable 6 days

Quiet, safe for children. Away from the bustle of Amed. Snorkelling off the shore was excellent and also easy to access boats for other snorkelling experiences. Staff always helpful for organising other activities.

Shower heads may need upgrading!

Nothing really! Like any property in Amed you just need to have your rented scooter or driver to get stuff you might need, for me as a solo traveler wasn’t an issue.

So UN-relaxing we couldn't stay!

We chose this place because it looked stunning in the photos with the pool & the view from the room.. We were really looking forward to having a really quiet, relaxing holiday here, that was not to be!! The minute we arrived we were greeted with skill saws & building construction from the large building with 11 units on the go, just above our room. Immediately we could see there is no way we would be able to relax there. On top of that the room had no seaview at all. On discussion with the staff member he offered us another room but we would have had to move back to our one the next day. We could see this wouldn't work. On discussion he said we could get a refund but it would take a few days to process. We agreed & left & found accommodation at Alur beach house. This was cheaper, on the beach, closer to town & very friendly staff. In fact so relaxing we extended our 3 days to 5. We then got a message from this accommodation saying that the noise is not bad & they will not give us a refund....So disappointing that they went back on their word! Rather than let them ruin our holiday we are now putting it behind us but advise anyone booking here to think about it seriously & check out all the negative reviews!!

Lovely spot right on the sea.

This was my second stay at Wawa Wewe 2 - I love the rooms with the view straight out to the sea and infinity pool. The staff are always on hand to help and the wifi was excellent!

For the price I really can't fault this place - I would love to visit again.

Nice place to stay. A little overpriced for Bali

The pool, food, large rooms with delightful furnishings and beach were terrific.

The weekend staff looked totally disinterested and spoke little or no English. The breakfast menu is printed but set out in a totally confusing way. The ½ Bali bathrooms are delightful until you see the large areas of green algae that are very old and not cleaned. Get a scrubbing brush. Clean the toilet please. Clean the glass in the bathroom door. SHUT the door to the outside bathroom when you turn on the air conditioner or you lose the cool air!

Poor unsuitable to older people and most of all the price you pay is ridiculous for the what you get.

The view

Run down in need of repair the dining area is dull, the food served extremely poor, the rails around the veranda are broken and cracked dangerous. The pool is ok however it is never cleared of leaves extra seems you have to do this yourself. The rooms are ok but if you need anything even towels you have to ask

Exceptional

The view, the room,the location,the staff, the pool, the beach, the grounds, the food absolutely everything was amazing......Thank you very much to the wonderful hard-working staff.. they went above and beyond to make her stay perfect. The view was breathtaking, when snorkeling we discovered the beautiful corals and so many fish. The food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely everything but especially the pool and being able to snorkel of the beach, had a beach room and hearing the waves was magical
