Amed Paradise Beach Club

We liked everything about the property: the room, facilities, the location, the design & layout, but mostly the people - from the owner to the staff and neighbouring children. Everyone made us welcome and we didn’t want to leave.

The hotel and rooms were lovely compared to the other ones we looked at. The room is very clean and look exactly like the picture. The hotel also has an amazing view of Mt Agung. We stayed for 4 nights and loved the pool/beach. The beach here has no snorkelling off the shore but the ocean is crystal clear and great to swim in. We drove over using a local taxi company to Jemeluk bay (5mins) which has AMAZING snorkelling for all ages and very shallow. There are also a few lovely cafes down the hotels road : Rimba and Baker Street.

Breakfast was included but food was not amazing. It served the purpose of toast and eggs/ smoothie bowl however we also enjoyed having the Bakery next door to have freshly baked pastries in the morning!

Pool area was exceptional. Staff were very friendly.and Kumong in particular was very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were private and lovely.

So much space above the restaurant was underutilised. Perfect spot for a sunset bar yoga space etc The food was hit and miss at the restaurant with little local food.

Much noise from outside as the door does not really shuts off the room and noise from other rooms as well (voices/bathroom sounds); bed only had a sheet; dirty towels (stains, sweat smell); hairs on the freshly made bed; instant coffee at breakfast; shower flooded
