Amazing location, beautiful sunset. Receptionist arranged her father to take me fishing and her mother to give a massage.Best massage i have ever had. Really nice atmosphere, i have been travelling around Bali and this was one of my favourites.

A lot dogs barking through the night from the beach below.Can get very noisy at night and very early in the morning. When i was there a ceremony started at sunrise.That was a bit annoying to be honest.The dinner service is also average.

Loved the view.

We stayed at WSH for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff who took our luggage down to our room and given a turmeric drink. Delish ! The view is truely awesome with a large seating area and an infinity pool to take all the beauty that Amed has to offer. The sunsets are spectacular whilst sipping on some local beverages. Our room was clean and again with an awesome view. Breakfast was included and very tasty .. eggs to your liking, juice, tea or coffee. The only thing is you must be physically fit to walk and navigate the steep steps to your room or to head to beach . The lack of shade is a problem. Transport is not easy to get and is a higher cost than other places. No Grab or Gojek.

Very overpriced for what was provided and expected for the price.

I booked this hotel in Amed based on the name and the ‘promise’ of wonderful sunset views looking over the bay towards Mt Agung. The views were truly beautiful.

The numerous and uneven stairs are a killer! The room was fairly basic and not of a high standard. At best it was rustic. The bed cover smelt bad. Obviously not laundered. The lock on the entrance door and the door itself was falling apart — not good security. The room safe was locked when we arrived. Breakfasts were included. I had OK pancakes the first day. Dinner that night was mediocre at best. The next day, breakfast was inedible. My scrambled eggs were very salty (as was yesterday’s mie goring). The butter served to go on the toast was discoloured and rancid.

nice clean room, water bottles on arrivel, towels and towels for the beach provided. good selection of breakfast options. AC working normaly, nice terrace.

restaurant in the hotel is charging always tax fee about 15% dogs around the hotel are extrely loud in the middle of the night, each night.

room was in front of a restaurant and then you see the view. no privacy unless you close the curtains, then you can't see the view!? room needs $ spent.. towels are thread bare.. walk through shower to toilet. no ensuite. money better spent at other accomodation on beach

The view is amazing, thanks to the large windows all around in the room Very quiet neigborhood, only roasters and dogs early morning Overall the service is basic, but the a la carte is decent enough, and the view from the restaurant makes everything! Staff is nice The infinity pool area is a bit old, but facing this nature, it worth it

You can access easily to the beach with stairs, but it s a fisherman beach, so dont expect sunbeds; however swimming is good, water is clear A bit far from the center; however you can still easily find restaurants around

Disappointing to say the least.

The views from the property are excellent and the terrace is a good place to sit.

We had to ask for a fridge for the room and this was in the second room we were in, the first was a long walk down steep and highly dangerous steps with no handrail or support that would be impossible for anyone infirm, with no warning given about the room's location at the time of booking. There was no way we wanted to go up and down those steps in the daylight, let alone in the dark. Having moved to a safely located room, the bathroom was awful. With mould on the walls, the washbasin was at chest height, the toilet on a raised plinth for some reason, and the only working shower consisted of a plastic pipe coming out of the wall delivering only cold water! The bathroom looked like it was built in the 1980s, with nothing remotely up to date, and the lighting consisted of one bare bulb sticking out of the wall.

The pool is really cool, location is good and the bed was very comfortable

There was a glass (see through) sliding door for the bathroom in the family bungalow. Not the best thing when 1 girl travels with 3 guys. It wasn’t mentioned in any of the reviews or be seen in the pictures, so just be aware if you’re traveling with other people. For breakfast it said that mixed juice is included but at check out they gave us the bill and said only orange juice is included. Well, that’s not what the menu said, maybe you should change that.

The overall quality of the room was a disappointment. Staff are friendly and attentive.

The location is good with a nice high view overlooking beach and sea. The room has basic equipment for a short stay.

The bathroom is too small and has worn decor, equipment and poor ventilation. The shower is weak. curtains are shabby.

Great location and view

The water in the loos smelt absolutely terrible and was impossible to brush your teeth with. The drinking water provided in the rooms had some sort of residue inside it. Pillows incredibly hard. The worst part of our stay was the staff who were constantly watching us like hawks chasing for payment as if we were going to run away without paying and it became very uncomfortable.

This place would have to be one of the worst places l have stayed in since coming to bali for the last 20yrs. The photos on the website is nothing and l repeat nothing like they advertise. The bedroom you could hardly move in it as it was that small the bed in the glass room had bugs on it. The open shower had a wooden cupboard directly next to it so you can’t put toiletries on it otherwise they would get wet. The doors to the room have large gaps so mosquitoes come in. The pool area was run down and sun lounges in the pool area where old and dirty. The sunset deck where the bar was meant to be as you can see from the pictures completely not operational like the pictures on the website to the point that most of the furniture was broken with heavy covers on them with rocks holding them on and the bar was a storage area for a mattresses which l hope they don’t use in the room. When l raised my concerns the person who they rang told me to get in contact with the boss who l did and sent him the photos of what we had seen and his only reply back was “great view”. We asked for a refund as this didn’t match up to what was on the website and since that call we have not heard back. Please don’t be fooled by the pictures on the website and this is the first ever accomodation stay in 20yrs coming to bali we have asked for a refund. Really poor form and l will be sure to let everyone know how bad this place is

Good for the view but could be much better with a few improvements

The view from the location is realy amazing. Also the view from the infinity pool. The breakfast is good and contains multiple dishes.

Even if the location is appreciated, the place looks a bit old. The room is ok, but the bathroom is in very poor condition. The toilet and the sink are extremly dirty and there are a lot of insects. The staff doesn’t speak english very well and it’s hard to communicate and get information. Also, a thing that we disliked was how they handled the scooter rent. We booked a scooter for 3 days directly from them(after 3pm) and in last day in the morning(8am) they requested us to return the key because time was up (but not 24 hours passed in last day as usual in Bali). Very unprofessional, they could have said in the beginning.

The rooms are spacious and clean. High ceilings, much light and an excellent ocean view right from the bedroom 👍 The beach below the hotel is rocky but I actually like it more - you don't have sand everywhere and it is much more interesting underwater then on sand beaches. Wifi is good, I did have several video calls without connection problems. Food is good too, and not as pricey as in other hotels.

It is a good place to stay due to its location; but could improve on some of the room ammenities.

The location of the property was very nice. It was very aesthetic. The room was spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful. They provided us with a splasher upon request. The hotel also has taxi service upon request.

The huge hole in the wall between the bathroom and the kitchen was unpleasant. The safe was not in working condition. Majority of the locks were unusable. There were a-lot of ants in one of the rooms.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay at Waenis Sunset View Hotel. The room was clean and spacious and the food at the restaurant was very high quality. Our favourite part was the incredibly view with private lounge area for hotel guests. It’s about 10 min into the centre of town by scooter so close enough to easily go for a meal or other reasons but far enough to be quite and private. There are also lots of little shops along the main road closer to the hotel. We will stay again the next time we are in Amed.

The hotel is perfectly located to watch the most beautiful sunsets in Amed while taking a swim in the infinity pool. Blissfully peaceful and beautifully decorated, very clean and with kind and accommodating staff. We loved our stay here and couldn’t recommend it more!

room spacious and clean. This place have fantastic view of Amed, you can see the top of Mount of Agung and also the ocean. Breakfast was Ok. Friendly staff too! We had lunch and dinner in their restaurant too. We ordered burgers, it was okey, but it would be perfect if they use real chicken meat or beef meat. Pleasant experience in Amed!

Half of the stay toilet was not working. The shower is hot only from 7 to 9 am, I used cold. Staff is angry. We had no cleaning. Good view, awful service.

Wunderbare Aussicht

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach wunderbar. Die Aussicht von dem Zimmer war überwältigend und auch die Gastgeberin war für alles erreichbar. Gewöhnungsbedürftig war das morgendliche an Land ziehen der Fischerboote und die Ankunft der Kinder in der Schule unterhalb, die per Scooter gebracht wurden. Wer aber auch das Leben in Bali mitbekommen möchte, den stört das weniger. Durch die Stufen ist es für Eingeschränkte Personen vermutlich nicht so ideal. Für uns war der Blick vom Zimmer, vom Pool und auch dem Restaurant einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Die Sauberkeit und das Personal waren absolut klasse.

Das Frühstück ala Carte ist wirklich sehr gut, aber das war nicht so unseres- dafür kann aber die Unterkunft gar nichts. Durch die unterschiedlichen Terrassen für die Gäste muß man manchmal den Service selbst aufsuchen, es könnte aber auch am Saisonende gelegen haben und das wenig Gäste da waren. Dafür konnten wir auch nach Schließung des Restaurants weiter auf der Terrasse bleiben.

Le personnel était aux petits soins ! La vue INCROYABLE !!! on s’en lasse pas, je l’avais depuis ma chambre mais aussi pour le petit déjeuner ! Logement propre

Malheureusement j’ai trouvé une blatte dans la douche L’emplacement est un peu excentré de la ville d’Amed heureusement que nous avions un scooter
