Great location, beautiful view, amazing food and yoga was great.
The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. We spotted a Rat in our bedroom on multiple occasions and there was lots of rat poo in the wardrobe that went all over our clothes. The outdoor shower was lovely but the drainage was non-existent, the septic tank probably needs emptying. We paid for express laundry on our last day, went to collect laundry at the agreed time in the evening and the staff forgot to get the laundry, so we had to pack our bags last minute early the next day, just before we got picked up to go to the airport and still got charged for an express rate!

Blue Earth Village is a well thought through, with organic architecture, comfortable beds, great lighting and Wi-Fi throughout its entirety, amazing yoga and Pilates space with great views and teachers, the staff are the sweetest kindest people I’ve met. If you want a truly relaxing space I recommend you stay here. You can wonder around and find new areas to enjoy. The views specially by from the restaurant and yoga areas are so beautiful. The food is delicious and with healthy options. The space is very special and the waiters are so attentive. One of my favorite places I’ve ever experienced.

Excellent restaurant! Nice yoga shala. Friendly staff
It could be cleaner, meteraces on the tarace or other facilities, gym equipment was a bit dirty and dusty

! Beware, bedbugs!
We were really looking forward to our stay at Blue Earth Village. Upon arrival, we were tired from the journey and decided to take a nap in bed before unpacking, and thank goodness we did! After relaxing a bit, I suddenly felt a tickle on my legs, similar to an ant. Itching started in other places as well. I looked, but didn't see anything at first, so I tried to get some more rest. My partner was also still awake, unable to sleep due to the noise from the busy road. The rooms are beautiful, but it's not exactly quiet.
We took a closer look at the bed and saw small, black bedbug droppings. We tried to reassure each other and decided to calm down by eating something at the restaurant. (The food, by the way, gave me food poisoning, which started with stomach pain and diarrhea over the next 12 hours.)
We decided to be honest and tell the reception that there were bedbugs in our bed and that we didn't want to stay in that room.
The woman checked her screen; we had expected a proposal for another room, but suddenly she asked if we wanted to cancel our booking. She also asked where we came from.
We told her we'd come from a hotel south of Ubud (it was very clean and luxurious). She laughed and said we'd brought the bedbugs from there! What bizarre reasoning. We've never had any problems in Ubud; we'd just lie on the bed here for a while, and then the itching started.
We felt disrespected, especially since we were asking for compensation for the expensive taxi ride from Ubud to here. We came specifically for the peace and quiet, and then suddenly, in the early evening, we had to find something else.
She called her owner (a lot of shouting on the phone) only to be told they couldn't do it. And then we'd have to pay for our meal?!
The most awful experience in Bali... Not quiet (it's on a busy road), misleading, and disappointing.

Peaceful, tranquil and private. At times I felt like I had the whole place to myself.
Mosquitos, however there were sprays and nets to keep you safe from the critters.

The staff were all lovely and friendly. I liked the semi outdoor bathroom and the good shower. There is a lovely yoga shala.
Sadly there was building work going on next door. It only happens during the day so if you plan to be out at the beach it won’t bother you. Also I found the room very dark. The hotel is at the top of a hill. There are a couple of restaurants nearby but otherwise it’s a steep walk down into the town/ to the beach and back up again afterwards. No Grab or Gojek in Amed so better if you have your own transport.

Good wifi, good air conditioning. The rustic Bali feel to the room was very nice. The restaurant food is very good. Staff are nice. Yoga was fine.
Location wasn’t great, top of a hill and not overly safe to walk along the road. Up and down a steep hill to reach the beach.
Noise at night from neighbouring bars and club, primarily loud music.
Pool was small and always quite warm.
Very limited, breakfast included menu. The regular breakfast menu, which is far better, was the reason I chose the breakfast included option.

The staff are just the sweetest. Amazing yoga and views. Food excellent. It felt like a big hug and I really want to stay again next year.
Very hard to get bookings as dominated by dive groups way into future. 😔 Wish some rooms held for yogis. I've made my opinion well known.

The food was good, I loved the facilities (pool, jungle gym, yoga, cafe), staff was so helpful and kind, the entire place was beautiful. Not too far walk to town (10-30 minutes to most places) and gorgeous views. AC unit in room was strong and wifi was good.
I don't have any complaints but if I had to nitpick and suggest something, adding Balinese cuisine options for breakfast on the menu at the cafe would be so nice.

Everything, the staff are exceptionally warm & friendly, willing to assist with all queries & helpful
The location and venue itself are beautiful, perfect location in beautiful surroundings. The owners havd put a lot of time and thought into their visitors experience. Every single meal has been delicious. My thanks to all the chefs and kitchen staff, waiters & waitresses and to the owner for creating this experience.
Walking up and down the hill 😂

Beautiful accommodation, very cosy with very friendly staff and lovely facilities. The restaurant is also great with a variety of options for vegetarians and vegans too.
A lot of mosquitos but this isn’t the fault of the hotel. They very kindly provided bug spray and mosquito nets.

We loved our stay at Blue Earth Village so much, it felt like a home away from home! The team were all super friendly and warm. We happened to be there for the Ocean Roots Festival which was a lot of fun with extra events, incredible concerts, free intro to free diving classes, daily pranayama, etc. The facilities are amazing, we started our stay in Deluxe room 8 which was absolutely spectacular, with a magnificent view of Agung and the sea. We had 3 nights there and then had 3 nights in room 1, which was a smaller room but still beautifully furnished, sweet and cosy. The food at the on site restaurant was always delicious, the pool was refreshing, also a 25m lap pool and jungle gym for exercise. Mãrta’s yoga classes were fantastic and I also had an acupuncture treatment with her which was profound and very restorative. Would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful experience, perfect ending of our Bali
adventure. It truly felt like we were in a modern village that offers an authentic connection with nature, while also providing all the comforts and luxury through amenities like yoga classes, massages, open-air co-working spaces, a pool, and an excellent restaurant.
The staff was very kind, yet discreet and genuine – unlike the overly formal or intrusive service you sometimes find at places like this.
The only thing that didn’t quite match the high standard of everything else was the bedroom, which felt a bit humid
that combined with its small, low-set windows, gave the impression of being below ground level.
However,, the room was clean and beautifully designed, and it felt like the hosts truly made the most of the space.

Nice hotel right above Amed with a spiritual vibe, lovely villas and great staff. The hotel area was quite huge with many hidden spots, the rooms had a lovely interior with a nice outside bathroom. The staff was exceptional. The breakfast and dood u can get all day in the restaurant was amazing.
Rooms could be a tiny bit bigger. Massages/treatments have to be booked on advance because we didn’t got any spot once we arrived. Dinner table always needs reservation bc it’s very well booked :)

The atmosphere is v chill and lovely for the sunset.
Outside bathroom was cool and decorated well.
Nice food options but a lot pricier!
The yoga was incredible!! As was the room/outdoor space it was in.
Wifi didn’t work in the bedroom at all!! I paid to stay here as there is the workspace and that was also hit and miss. The breakfast menu was poor for what you are paying per room (you don’t get the nice restaurant menu option). The pool you can use is v small and nowhere you can lie down unless you’re on the floor.
Bedroom was super super dark!
Yoga at the resort you get a tiny discount but I think it should be more tbh.

This eclectic property has many spots throughout to relax and/or comfortable work spaces. The onsite restaurant, yoga shala, workout space, and pools are nice amenities. Gorgeous place to watch the sunset.
The rooms are a smidge dark. (Pictures from Room 2)

The room did not see any sun, thats why its also humid and had a smell. The terrace upstairs was amazing, spacy and silent. The bathroom is outdoor

Great views from the restaurant. Yoga classes were great. Seems like a really neat community. There is a lot of construction going on but they tried to keep it quiet until guests were awake.
It would be nice if they offered a smoothie bowl for breakfast in the complimentary breakfast menu. Also recommend washing the yoga mats, they needed to throw washing and were stinky.

I liked the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Tailor made service was provided.
The room didn't give any open view and was too dark.

The bed was very comfortable. The accomodation met our needs and was comfortable. Restaurant was very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The gym equipment is a little old. Walking up the hill was probably good for me but the lack of walking path made it a little thrilling.

This was one of our most awaited stays of the trip, and it didn't disappoint. Each of the rooms are unique with features like a patio or an outdoor shower. The property itself is so beautiful. Nice yoga classes. Nice restaurant. And we had a view of the volcano from our room, and that never got old :)

Everything! The design and use of natural materials is amazing, the view from another world! The staff is so friendly! You have everything you need in one place even yoga, massage and restaurant! I stayed there as I did my freediving wave 1 with apneista and it was perfect to have the pool onsite! I will be back!
Nothing I disliked, but I just found that the food and options could be upgraded a bit. Personally I found better places to eat elsewhere. But still the view is the best from the restaurant so its all about balance. Thank you again and see you next time!

Great location, beautiful view, good food, chilled atmosphere and nice people, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!
Yoga classes were sadly cancelled until further notice and one pool out of operation, but overall we had a very nice stay.
9.0 / 10.0
The gym, pool, working space and the view from the restaurant looking down on the beach and mount agung.
WiFi barely worked anywhere which suprised me since it’s a modern facility with working space. Had to use my own 4G surf the whole visit.
8.0 / 10.0
Beautiful beautiful space with all the little gardens and chill out areas. Loved the private yoga shala.
And when I was sick and semi stranded, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.
Construction happens, I get it, but it was right by the very thin fence where my outdoor bathroom was, so it made it very difficult for me to shower ect during the day. I would suggest letting guests who are staying about it and offer an alternative.
The first few nights there were a lot of dogs barking through the night, not the usual odd bark here and then but full on, but I believe that was sorted due to a few others bringing up the issue.
