One of the best stays of our lives. The setting doesn't even feel real and the whole family are incredible. Easy to do activities, have food, just amazing. Would recommend to anyone. HUGE ROOMS too. Private. Lovely.

- The host and his family are adorable and really welcoming, it is a pleasure to meet them and they make you feel at home ❤️ - The house is beautiful, even more than on the photos we felt and the surroudings are magnificent 🤩 - They have a « menu » with meals / breakfast / tours informations + prices are very reasonable. Ask them for the menu in advance so you can plan easily your journey there ! 🤌 - The path on the way to the house is a bit small but it is not a worry as Made and his family help you out with your luggage 🙏

Unfortunately we already planned all our stay before coming so we did not fully enjoy the available tours 😏

Wonderful location, wonderful people, wonderful time.

Everything ! The location is amazing, litterally in the rice fields with a great view on the Agung volcano and an spectacular sunset. Tirta Gangga is 6 minutes away, Amed 30 minutes and Padang Bai 60 minutes. We didn’t go to Lempuyang but it is also very close. We visited the rice fields with Lulu, Made’s daughter. Don’t hesitate to take the real balinase diner. It’s delicious. And most of all, Made and his familly are wonderful people who make you immediatly feel at home. PS : don’t trust the pictures, it’s a lot more beautiful in reality. 😉

We lived our stay at Gumibali. It is a memorable and unique Bali ride field experience. Made, his incredibly hardworking wife and gorgeous children make the experience authentic and personable. My children enjoyed interacting with the family and were invited to fish and go for adventures in the rice fields, they even had a dog to play with which they miss already. The villa is separated into 2 identical large single bedroom apartments so if you book both it can accommodate a big family (we had grandparents on the top level and our family at the lower level).

The property is located in a fantastic location facing the Mount Agung and surrounded by the rice fields all around. We enjoyed every minute of these amazing views from the roof top on this house. Our lodge had a lot of space for living unlike classical hotels, and it was a welcome respite

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the fact that we had to cut our stay to 2 nights instead of 3, which we learnt only upon our arrival to the property. The owner said that the religious ceremony forced him squeeze us out of his house which we understand of course, but it would have been preferable to know in advance.

the villa needs a sign to say where to go as its in the middle or rice fields its not the easiest place to find;) its not something we didnt like its just for other people!

Amazing place, with amazing people and view.

Amazing place with an amazing host and his family. The villa is in the middle of many ricefields. the view from the rooms and in the roof is wonderfull. On clear nights the view of the stars from the roof is spectacular. It is a little bit isolaties but Imakasu (the host) will help you find your around Tirtagangga. A true Bali experience.

Exceptional

Very spacious place, literally surrounded by rice fields. We really enjoyed the views and spent quite some time at the roof terrace taking pictures of the fields and the people working on it. We were the only guests, so we had the entire place for ourselves. The last part to get to the villa (about 100 meters) you have to walk. Just follow the electricity poles and lines and you'll be fine.

Superb

The place is located in the middle of rice fields very close to Agung vulcano, which gives the place very authentic atmosphere which you will hardly find anywhere else. The views are just amazing and breathtaking. There are only two appartments in the villa, we very lucky to be there ourselves so we had the whole place for use. The villa has a large terrace upstairs where you can practise yoga with Augung view (if not in clouds). Clean and pretty big pool. Possible to order massge (200k IRP/hour). The owner and his team are the nicest people ever, trying to accomodate all your needs. Perfect for a couple of days while exploring east part of Bali.

As a result of place being located in rice fields, far away from any village, there are not so many things you can do after sunset (for us 6pm since we visited in August).You can of course rent a motorbike for 60k IRP and explore neighborhood. However while getting back after sunset you have to walk through rice fields to get to villa which can be bit scary in dark. As for the dinner plans, you can either enjoy local dinner prepared by the owner Kadek add his team (real authentic balinese food for 70k IRP) or bring sth from supermarket. Also due to its location in rice fields, you may we woken up in the morning by locals who start working there at 6am every day shouting at birds.

De locatie is geweldig! Midden in de rijstvelden met alleen rust en natuur om je heen. De gastheer is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Zijn Engels is ook zeer goed.

Wat een ontzettende lieve mensen en wat een unieke locatie! Een hele bijzondere ervaring, dit maak je niet vaak mee....

Onze kinderen sliepen bij ons op de grond in de kamer, volgens booking.com zouden er 2 slaapkamers moeten zijn. Dit heeft onze ervaring zeker niet minder goed gemaakt en de eigenaar zal het aan gaan passen.

Il mio soggiorno al GumuBali Villa è stato semplicemente perfetto. La villa è un’oasi di pace, immersa tra risaie e natura, con una vista mozzafiato e un’atmosfera autentica e raffinata. Il cibo era eccellente, preparato con cura solo per me e servito direttamente in camera — un’esperienza davvero speciale. I proprietari sono persone splendide, gentili e premurose, sempre pronti a rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile. Inoltre, da qui si può raggiungere facilmente a piedi Tirtaganga, il tempio con i giardini acquatici più belli di Bali, con una passeggiata piacevole tra i campi. Un luogo che consiglio di cuore a chi cerca tranquillità, bellezza e autenticità.

Posto del cuore

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura dopo giorni caotici ad Ubud, è stata una piacevole scoperta che fosse così isolata. Appena arrivati, l'intera famiglia ci è venuta ad accogliere nella strada per poi guidarci tra le risaie fino alla struttura. Il passaggio fino alla struttura era attraverso un canaletto tra le risaie, impraticabile per chi ha difficoltà a camminare. Noi siamo rimasti davvero toccati da questo posto per l'accoglienza dell'intera famiglia e per il panorama attorno che si può godere dal terrazzo sul tetto. Abbiamo assistito sia al tramonto che all'alba e il vulcano sullo sfondo è davvero suggestivo. Cercavamo un oasi di relax e l'abbiamo trovata.Sicuramente non è consigliata per chi vuole muoversi a piedi perché attorno non ci sono villaggi o città. Abbiamo usufruito anche della cena ad un prezzo aggiuntivo davvero economico ed è stato tutto molto buono.

Petit paradis au milieu des rizières!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à GumiBali villa : isolé aux milieux des rizières avec des levers et couchers de soleil magnifiques,de belles balades à faire, un accueil des plus chaleureux et aux petits soins de la part de Made et sa famille, des petits déjeuners et dîners savoureux, des chambres immenses et impeccables avec une vue à 180 sur les rizières, une belle piscine …bref un petit paradis!

Rien sauf de ne pas être restés plus longtemps!

Fantastisch verblijf

Made en zijn familie zijn geweldig! Zo gastvrij en staan altijd voor je klaar. We hebben met Made een tour langs tempeltjes en een museum gedaan. In de rijstvelden gewandeld met zijn dochter. Offerbakjes gemaakt en de bijbehorende ceremonie doorlopen, heel bijzondere momenten! Zijn vrouw maakt heerlijk eten. Het zwembad met uitzicht de rijstevelden is top. Je verblijft echt tussen de rijstvelden. Je word snorren wakker met alleen natuurgeluiden, rust ten top!

Ons hinderde het niet maar mocht je slecht ter been zijn, vanaf de weg is de locatie niet makkelijk te bereiken. Je loopt via een smal padje ( die in de hele omgeving liggen ) GumiBali. Ze helpen je met de bagage! In de badkamer is af en toe een rioollucht. Hebben wij opgelost door een zakje met water op de afvoer neer te leggen.

Fantastico! Kadek e la sua famiglia sono persone stupende! Il driver ci ha lasciati lontanissimi dalla casa. Lui e sua moglie, dopo averci contattato, ci hanno raggiunti in scooter e ci hanno portato alla casa. Monolocale da 60mq, con cucino, bagno con doccia e vasca, camera da letto con soggiorno e terrazza vista piscina e risaie. Pulito e ben tenuto. Ti accolgono e dialogano con te offrendoti un succo di frutta appena spremuto come benvenuto. Ci hanno preparato la cena e portata in casa e il giorno dopo, dato che avevamo sveglia presto, ci hanno preparato la colazione da asporto. Sono una famiglia speciale a cui auguro tutto il meglio.

Emplacement isolé et calme au milieu des rizières. Idéal si vous cherchez une expérience authentique. Toute la famille nous a accueillis chaleureusement et a veillé à ce qu'on ne manque de rien. La villa est magnifique et propre. Ce fut notre coup de cœur de notre voyage. Excellents repas et piscine magnifique.

Rien! Il faut quand même savoir que l'endroit est isolé mais ça ne pose aucun problème puisque le propriétaire se fera un plaisir de vous conduire.

Aanrader!

De locatie is prachtig, tussen de rijstvelden, wat een rust. Je kunt hier heerlijk tot rust komen. De gastheer, gastvrouw en hun dochter zijn bijzonder gastvrij en behulpzaam. We hebben ook heel erg genoten van het heerlijke eten, dat we deels ook zelf gemaakt hebben tijdens de cooking class, aanrader!!
