I loved the location, cleanliness, helpfulness and happiness of the staff. The rooftop garden is a fabulous bonus for sunset food and drinks.
Some rubbish on the beach. That’s the only downer.

Amed is a true hidden gem, and I’m honestly surprised it isn’t more crowded! We spent two nights at this lovely spot, and everything was perfect—the place was immaculately clean, the food and breakfast were delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming.
The location is ideal, sitting just 30 steps from the beach. You can reach incredible snorkeling spots in just a five-minute walk, where you’ll see vibrant underwater life, especially giant sea turtles. There are also plenty of great activities nearby, such as scuba diving.
My favorite part was the rooftop; it’s the perfect place to take in the sunset. If I return to Amed, I will 100% choose this place again!
Maybe be internet connection, but it’s not a big deal.

Solaluna was more like a hotel than a homestay. Our beachfront bangalow was fantastic. The room seemed to have been recently renovated as everything looked and felt quite new. In fact the whole place seemed to have beeen recently renovated as most of the hotel looked new and modern. We particularly loved our room. The cabinetry for storage was the best I've had in Bali. The room was light and bright with ocean views. It was spacious and everything was comfortable. The balcony is a great size and has a large comfy daybed overlooking the ocean through beautiful large trees where you can relax on sunbeds if you wish. The pool is quite large and has a lovely feel to it. We were happy with the breakfast and loved the location in terms of having access to everything within a few minutes. We hired bicycles nearby for the time we were there so it was easy to see the 10km coastline of Amed and explore other areas. If you don't have transport, there's a nice little reef for snorkelling just 200m from the hotel and plenty to see and do by foot. The rooftop bar was like icing on the cake for us... it just made our experience in Solaluna that little bit more amazing.
No complaints. Some advice would be to update their website but it's not a complaint.

Sweet place in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooftop bar was awesome and has the best views of the volcano at sunset. Great value for money
