Great for family short stay in ksamil

Brilliant place to stay for a short time for a family. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and very good breakfast. Very good value for money. Located just 5-6 Minutes from the beach. Don't expect 5 stars ⭐ hotel but for what you pay this is amazing and comfortable place to stay worth 4.5 ⭐ . Located close to the city center, with many restaurants around. We highly recommend it for a family short stay 3-4 days.

There was no curtain in the shower so each time someone took a shower the whole bathroom was folded by shower water. We were renting 2 rooms and none of the bathrooms had shower curtain. Also I don't understand concept of kitchen in the bedroom but maybe in late 70tees that was a standard but nowadays no one is cooking. But taking into account price Ok can have old kitchen in the bedroom.

I recently stayed at Ksamil Garden Villa Veli , and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private, yet still very close to the beaches and local attractions. The homemade breakfast was a real highlight , fresh, delicious, and made with love. You can really taste the local flavor in every bite! The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. But what really made the stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. Klara was so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed, from tips on local spots to just sharing a friendly smile. They truly made me feel at home. I will come back again in September.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. This place is a true hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ksamil!

Amazing place, we can't recommend it enough. If you're on the fence, book it, you'll be happy.

Klara and her family (the hosts/owners) are super friendly and always seeking to please their guests. They will make you feel welcomed and appreciated in a way that a corporate-owned hotel never could. The property, has much more greenery around it than all the other neighboring properties making it feel even more cozy. The location makes it easy to walk to beaches or drive anywhere you'd like. My family loved it, especially the delicious breakfasts.

We absolutely loved our time there, but in the spirit of an honest review, there's a few things potential guests should know. Please note, these will apply to almost all of the places in Ksamil and aren't unique to Garden Villa Veli. The internet is frustrating, with constant drops in service. The hot water is really only present part of the time. Most places in Ksamil rely on solar hot water heaters, so if this is a concern for you, time your showers to occur during the day. The parking is limited and sometimes you have to play musical chairs with other guests.

Felt like home

I had a wonderful experience at this guest house! The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. The location is perfect—just a few minutes' walk from the beach and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful at night. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always available if I needed anything. The homemade breakfast was a real highlight—delicious and made with love! I also appreciated the free parking. Definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Ksamil. I would absolutely come back!

Great location, host and breakfast.

The hosts were amazing, very welcoming and helpful to show us around the area. Breakfast was delicious and menu diverse, changing daily. The location was very close to the beach, shops and restaurant. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family and will definitely return back on my next visit. Keep up the good work 🙂

Klara and her family were all so welcoming and kind, it made our stay so comfortable and special. We booked quite last minute and felt very lucky to get to stay in such a lovely place. Unfortunately, there are not many positive things to write here.. The service was pleasant. The second and last thing that I rate positively is the breakfast.

Terrible. Catastrophe. We were horrified. Rating 9.3 ??? Even by mistake! Fix: 3.9 ! Maybe it's the Albanian standard, not the European standard. We lived in the basement. There was five of us. The maximum size was 26 m2, not 50 m2! Enver Hoxha slept on the beds in his youth. Children's beds were in the kitchen room. Size? No more than 9m2. Stink in the rooms. Mustiness. Shower in the toilet? WTF? One room has a window - you could watch people on the terrace. But not to sleep when people upstairs were drinking and talking loudly. We had a present in the room. Raid giant spray against mosquitoes. If we had used it, we might be lying on the floor by now. We booked for two nights. One was enough, hurry away! I paid the full amount. Cash. They offered me a cancellation, let's skip the booking. This is usual in Albania. But I had to write this review. I had to warn the others.

Very basic slight dated room, however has everything you need and for the money it's great value. Breakfast on day one was very random, yogurt egg and a packeted chocolate snack, saying that day two was great. All above is being picky

It is a family owned/run facility and the staff do the outmost to make one's stay pleasurable. They go beyond the call of duty and they even helped one of my kids who got sick to get better and go to the local doctor's office at 6am in the morning!

Location was very good, short walk to the nearby beaches. The breakfast was delicious as well. Apart from thag host, Clara, was very friendly. Her parents were very kind as well but we mainly spoke with Clara. She went out of the way to help us and faciliate our needs. We really appreciated that and rhat definitely made our holiday more memorable. Highly recommend!

Would indeed visit again!

Great location, very comfortable and impeccably clean. Staffs are always ready to help with a smile in their faces, specially Clara and her mum! The food was amazing, it was best seafood I’ve ever had and their tasty breakfasts made our mornings happier everyday with a quiet friendly atmosphere. Next time we get a chance to visit Ksamil, that’s the place we’ll stay for sure!

Everything! Carla (I hope I'm spelling it right😬) was super nice and a wonderful hostess! Very accommodating and greeted us the night we came in even though it was 11PM due to flight delay and issues. The room is amazing and very sizable. The breakfast was very filling and delicious, fresh and homemade by Mama! Lol great stay overall and very satisfied!
