Very good location for visiting the chateaux in the area.

Helpful staff with good recommendations for eating. Secure easy parking in a quiet area, across the river from Amboise. Walking across the bridge was simple and we even ate on the island with great views of the chateau.

Overall good but a few niggles.

Good location about 15 minutes walk from Amboise centre. Great secure parking.

There is no restaurant, or one nearby in the case of bad weather or late arrival. Very limited reception hours but clear access instructions provided, together with an emergency contact number. Quiet overnight but very noisy early in the morning, partly due to Lorrys parked up overnight close by, partly due to the close proximity of what appeared to be a builders merchants, but mainly due to people taking very loudly directly outside the window whilst waiting for a balloon flight organised by the hotel and departing from the car park. Also the automatic bathroom light which is way too bright for a nighttime loo visit and which turns off when you are using the shower as the sensors are inadequately placed & on too short a timer.

More than we bargained for!

A great hotel - incredibly friendly. We wanted somewhere to stay overnight to break up the journey from the Dordogne to Caen - and this was superb. Amboise was a lovely town, and even though the centre was on the opposite river bank, the walk was only 10 minutes. Great range of bars and restaurants!

I stayed in the special needs room (#1). The room was excellent, however there is a loud noise about every hour coming from somewhere close, 24 hours a day! Also, I know the hot water temperature has to be set at a special temperature by law, but the temperature needs to slightly increase, it was only luke warm

Outstanding place to stay.

The checking on was so easy. We wanted to check in outside the opening times of reception and simple instructions were mailed which was fab. Secure parking that needed passcode to access. The rooms were great and beds very comfortable. No noise from outside at all. Excellent breakfast. Staff were super friendly. We stayed an extra night so we could look around the town some more. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was good. The walk across the bridge to the town center for dinner took about 10 min. Not so good of a walk in the rain. Walk back in the dark was very dark in some spots. Wish I had a small flashlight on me for it.

It was easy to find. There was secure parking with a code entry. The lady at the desk was very welcoming. The room was large and very modern. Nice bathroom etc. Short walk, across the bridge ti the old town - with lots of restaurants. The view, walking from the hotel was stunning

Great location in the heart of the Loire. Ideal for 1-2 nights stopover.

Great location with plenty of parking, easy to find by car. The building is very new with an aeronautical theme. Staff were very nice and check in straightforward.

Hard to think of anything, potentially the walk into town but that was fine for us, and worth it in our opinion for trouble free / secure parking

Don't be fooled - it looks like a rather characterless box but it's really nice and all the staff we met were lovely. Large modern rooms, really good breakfast and easy walk to the bridge across the Loire

Just the location: it's effectively in an industrial park so you're not next to the pretty things but it's only about 40 metres from the banks of the river and this really isn't a big deal at all.

It was clean and new

We had the window open because of the noise of the air con but: It was very noisy all night there was mechanical noises- factory, delivery lorries- Builders merchants, trains, main road, not sound proof rooms- baby cried nearby our room twice in the night

Amazing bed, air-conditioning was so helpful, secure parking, across the river from old city, staff directed us to closest grocery store

Breakfast only served from 8-10 am,but we needed to leave earlier.
