Do not stay anywhere anywhere else in Amboise. Our host was here to greet us and show us to two lovely rooms in a renovated property on a walled, large lot just outside the main business and restaurant area in the city. He sat down with us and walked us through all of the Château in the.Loire valley and had available all the maps and information we needed to plan our three days here. We were also served a wonderful breakfast each morning and had a brief opportunity to recap the day before and make specific plans for the current day. the rooms themselves were quiet, clean, well decorated with nice new renovated bathrooms. We felt as if we were living with friends rather than staying at an accommodation, this was the perfect base for our.Loire valley expedition

Thibaut was extremely friendly and very informative about the local area. The B&B is just a 10 minute walk into the heart of the Ancient centre of Amboise. The B&B itself has had a colourful past, from the WWII and is just a few inutes from Château of Clos Lucé, the one time home of Leonardo De Vinci (who is buried in the nearby Château d'Amboise).
The bed had a firm support down the middle. I truly minor niggle.

The location was perfect. Liked the grand approach to the apartment. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Shared a lot of information which was helpful for our sight seeing. His pride for his city and country was inspiring. The pet dog, snook, was great. We warmed up to him really quickly.
The rooms were very tiny, smaller than what appears in the photos, access to the rooms was a steep staircase outside the house, which made it difficult to climb with luggage and for the elderly person with us. The breakfast missed any form of protein. The kitchen was closed on 1 of nights where we needed access to some plates and cutlery
