Un grand merci pour l'accueil de notre hôte, à la fois discret et à l'écoute, dans un lieu magique et hors du temps, en face du Clos Lucé !

Location was exceptional within walking distance to all historic places; beds were good and comfortable and the same I can say about breakfast - including fresh orange juice, ham and eggs (not just jams like other places) and fresh baguettes. Owner Philippe has made an effort preparing the breakfast and it was noticed and appreciated.

Parking is horrible however we did fit through the gate with our VW Transporter (clutch got nearly burnt though). Cars with low chassis have battled! If you like old chateau full of dust and cobwebs this is your place. I could point loads of things I didn’t like and had a feeling of leaving after an hour of being there… we booked two nights and survived there however I was counting my hours to depart. Dirty, stinky and no personal touch. I would say it’s a cash cow to make a profit. We have paid €400 for two nights and it wasn’t worthy at all. You just pay for location that’s all. In other hand my husband said he admired the old features etc.. it would be beautiful place if the owner could invest into painting and cleaning. I am sure it’s not so hard after charging fortune to stay overnight.
