A good basic hotel in a very good position in the town.

The position in the town, very central, easy walking to the main places of interest. All staff I encountered were very good- helpful and friendly.

The zero soundproofing. It made it very noisy and off-putting. I also did not like the sheets.

We had a small but nice room, ok for the price. Breakfast was good and the hotel team was very friendly. We arrived very late and could enter with a code.

The bathroom was very small and had no window. Also the room was rather small, but ok for the price.

The property is clean, easily accessible and the staff is friendly. Rooms are just enough for basic stay.

We ordered drinks at the hotel’s bar at 21:45, but we were not informed that the whole area is closed after 22, after which we were invited to finish them in our rooms. It is understandable, but we would have appreciated a heads up when ordering.

Extremely dissatisfied.

The location was very central

Our non-smoking city view room reeked of smoke and looked into a dark rooftop. It’s very basic - not as nice as the photos indicate. When we complained the manager was very non- communicative. I had to spend 30 minutes on a long distance call with booking to try to get a resolution while he hid in his office. In the end they moved us to a room with a bed and a sofa that was extremely uncomfortable, instead of 2 beds. The manager spoke with the booking representative, but never came to speak with us directly or made any effort to resolve the situation. The new room was very loud and we slept terribly. We checked out in the morning and got another place to stay, which really disrupted our short visit. We had paid for 3 nights and the manager has refused to refund our money. This was the most expensive place we stayed in France and the worst experience. A little customer service goes such a long way. I am still fighting to get my money back. This really ruined our stay in an otherwise lovely little town. Do not recommend this place.

Very clean and the aircon worked well.

The room was tiny and along a series of up and down stairs. The bedding was made of a strange crinkly material that was not comfortable to sleep on. Coffee making facilities were very poor

Lovely hotel in a good area

We were greeted by a polite young man who spoke good English. The room was quaint but large and well equipped. The hotel was well placed within the town and we would have stayed longer if we could. Overall a very pleasent place to rest.

Location is fantastic and parking very close. The staff were very friendly.

The shower was hard work. Very tricky to get right. Thought, overall, the place was fine but would benefit from the owners/management staying in each room for a couple of nights to see what guests see.

Good option in Amboise.

Good, well situated option for lodging in the area. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Close to all the sites in Amboise and within driving distance to many chateaux. For the price, it worked well for our needs.

The bathroom needs a renovation. The air conditioner was not working, and we were told they were waiting for it to be repaired. Having the window open resulted lots of noisy traffic on the road in front. No elevator if you are expecting one.

Our room was just so so. This is a 3 star hotel and a budget hotel. I would give it 2 stars. Room #1 was very small and we could hear the noise from the lobby.

Staff was very friendly and everything super clean. Breakfast was nice too.

The photos don’t convey the vibe of the rooms very well. Our room wasn’t very practically set up (you almost hit your head on the wardrobe when you open the door to the room…), it also wasn’t very cosy (tiled floor, outdated designs, color schemes and lighting - all convey more of a 90s hospital.)

In the Centre of Amboise

The proximity to the sights of Amboise and the price were very good. Staff were helpful and polite and the room appeared to be very clean. The availability of private parking was very convenient, but there was no security as the gate was 'broken'.

Room was quite warm and there did not appear to be any air conditioning. Unfortunately, the street traffic was too noisy to leave the window open.

The location was very central which was great. Didn't have the breakfast but would consider it next time.

Staff during the booking and on arrival were very good. The staff, on booking out, could have been more helpful. I had to insist to have fresh milk in my coffee rather than powdered milk that I was told to have. Staff member eventually put fresh/real milk in my coffee.

Well worth the stay! Lovely hotel.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Located in the heart of Amboise. 2-5 minute walk to everything. Breakfast was sufficient and there was a variety. Coffee machine was lovely. A/C in rooms wonderful. Older hotel as expected. Lovely hotel.

Beds were sufficient. Bathroom could use update, but sufficient.
