Proximity to town was very good - took just a short car ride to town. Bathroom was nice and big. Breakfast was with cheeses, fresh fruit, breads, croissants. Garden was beautiful but weather made it so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors.
Unfortunately, there were many issues.
We arrived when it was rainy and chilly. Our room was cold and the radiator didn’t work. We were given a portable heater that took the chill off.
No baggage stands for our suitcases, hard mattress, and little, flat pillows.
The toilet was in an awkward place, and at night, it was difficult to get to without using our phones since it was quite dark.
I took a shower first and I couldn’t get the drain to work properly. Hubby had to fix it.
At breakfast, there was no sugar for coffee (there was subsequent days), coffee cup wasn’t clean first day, the omelettes were always overcooked and not hot, no yogurt our fifth and final day.
The first three days, the internet worked perfectly. The last two days, we couldn’t get internet unless we went into the main area, which was outside and down two doors. Very frustrating and limiting.
