We enjoyed our stay in this private house where we were made very welcome and given a good breakfast

Our hostess was very weloming and we had an excellent breakfast with some amusing American visitors who were also staying. The hotel is surrounded by pretty countryside with good walking tracks. The house was comfortable although the very steep stairs to our room were a bit challenging.

Delightful and Relaxing Farm Stay

Our stay at this farm was truly wonderful. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect base for our trip. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and their English was a huge help for us throughout our stay., even making a dr appt for us. We absolutely loved the relaxing farm atmosphere and the large outdoor area. The gardens were beautiful, and the pool was fantastic. Our child also really enjoyed the trampoline. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast provided was great – a delicious start to each day. A few things to note for future guests: - The studio apartment is located within the hosts' home. - There isn't a kitchen in the studio apartment, so be prepared for meals out (expect breakfast). - Washing facilities are not on-site; we used a laundromat in town. - You might hear other guests occasionally, but everyone staying during our visit was respectful and considerate. - steep stairs to get up to the room. But hosts helpful with our bags. We highly recommend this property for a peaceful and enjoyable farm stay!

We recieved emails prior explaining about additional charges for hot tub ,only 30 minutes were free ,when we arrived the hot tub was not in use we were not emailed about this , the reason we booked this accommodation was due to there being a hot tub .we were only informed once we asked about using it.

Quiet, beautiful rooms. Comfy bed. Delicious breakfast. Friendly owner. Friendly sheep, chickens, rabbit and cats.

Hadn’t realised we’d need to walk through owners lounge to get upstairs to the two rooms (garden view suite). Plus bathroom. Two rooms for 2 adults and 3 kids. Felt a bit strange but they were fine with it and made us welcome.

Very nice house and large property with hens and cats running around and even a small goldfish pond. You have to pass through the hosts private living room, but we had two rooms and a bathroom upstairs for ourselves. The breakfast was served on the terrace next to the pool and was fresh and delicious.

The perfect escape from the hubbub of sightseeing.

Quiet country place just outside of town with free and convenient parking. Breakfast, served in our room, was wonderful with homemade cheese, jams, yogurt, bread and croissants and very good coffee. Upstairs room had large skylight windows that let in a lot of light. Very clean and comfortable. Our gracious host led us around the property. We were free to roam through open meadows full of spring flowers. A lovely relaxing spot.

Travel light. None of these beautiful, rustic, romantic country places have elevators which means you are usually carrying your luggage up narrow steep staircases. It's worth the effort. I'm just saying.

The beautiful gardens were an added bonus for this property. The bedroom was spotless and beautifully decorated with a lovely clean large bathroom.

Great garden, beautiful house and charming hosts. Very quiet neighbourhood. Perfect for a short stay. This place is great place to visit the Loire Castles and small towns. The hosts provided useful tips and advices for restaurants and visits. We were lodged in a privative part of the house, with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom, perfect for a familly of four.

Breakfast was very good- high quality products, nicely served. Rooms were slightly bigger than expected, very clean, comfortable beds. Jacuzzi was a very nice touch after the long drive. The grounds of the property look like a park with mini zoo- great location for summer holidays!

Authentic French chic ... an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the country

We have stayed a number of times and as ever, this lovely family provide a great experience in their very French home. The location is fantastic...within Amboise but on the outskirts with a wonderful tranquil atmosphere surrounded by open spaces and a large, tree-filled garden. The house is lovely and decorated in traditional French style with lovely spacious, well equipped bedrooms and bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent, usually served on the terrace beside the pool.

Lovely helpful hosts, pretty rooms with facilities as advertised, great breakfast, very quiet location, yet near the village if you have a car. Especially great if you like cats !

Nothing relating to our stay. However, In common with many other places the general property description on the web could have been clearer. It’s always difficult to know exactly what you will find when you arrive at this kind of property. For example we had wrongly assumed that the ‘garden view’ suite we had booked was on the ground floor, but it was in fact upstairs above the owners accommodation, although in practice this didn’t matter to us and we enjoyed being part of the family, so to speak.

Yet again, fabulous stay in this beautiful property. Beautiful friendly and welcoming hosts...plus magnificent cats! The room was perfect, size, comfort, facilities. The breakfast is wonderful...best croissants and bread we've had in France, beautiful fruit salad, yoghurt, home-made cakes, local cheese, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice. Excellent English spoken.

Parfait !

Mon compagnon et moi avons passé cinq superbes nuits dans cet établissement. Les hôtes ont fait preuve d’une grande gentillesse à notre égard. La chambre était confortable et lumineuse, le petit-déjeuner délicieux, et surtout, le cadre de la demeure était incroyable. Après nos visites, nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine et du jacuzzi. Nous avons également pu savourer quelques pique-niques dans le jardin. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu !

Séjour très agréable, vraiment bien pour une famille et adapté aux enfants en bas âge.

Les chambres sont charmantes et décorées avec soin. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Très agréable d’avoir notre espace à nous avec les enfants à côté. L’accueil s’est très bien passé on est vite mis à l’aise pour s’installer. Tout est prévu sur place pour éviter de charger les bagages et c’est un vrai plus !

Les oreillers n’étaient pas très fermes (mais cela dépend de ce que l’on aime pour dormir). Pas vraiment de points négatifs.

Le cadre est magique surtout avec le soleil, l'intérieur est romantique et très confortable, l'extérieur champêtre et reposant. Jacuzzi et piscine sont là pour la détente. L'ambiance était conviviale et donne une envie de revenir.

Juste l'escalier un peu raide, mais pour quelqu'un de très agile, pas de souci !
