The location is great. Walking distance to everywhere you can visit.

We stayed there three nights. The first morning we did not have breakfast. This was no fault of the woman that typically handled it. She was not made aware by the caretaker that there were people staying and would need to be fed. The bed linens really need to be swapped out for something a bit more updated and less worn. Also, they air-dry the bath towels, which is fine. But for a place that is set up for lodging guests, I would not expect my towels to be musty smelling or hard.

We loved your house and the breakfast was so beautifully presented - the only reason why I did not give 100% was the fan was not very effective and it was very hot.

The property was extremely convenient to Ambroise and the restaurant and the Château. It was a three minute walk. We felt very secure and safe in the property. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We had no issues with parking and found the location to be very central for day trips. The old house was beautifully appointed with furniture and wall art. Our room was equipped with an air conditioner that was very satisfactory even on our last day and night in Ambroise when the temperatures began to climb. our room, while not extremely spacious, was exceptionally clean and well furnished.

We liked the property very much and don’t have any negative comments.

Very French Breakfast prepared by a local lady. Location very quiet with parking very nearby on street or in secluded square. Easy to walk to every part of Amboise including Amboise Chateau, restaurants and Close Luce. Old French house with garden at front and rear.

It was very hot in the bedroom. Although there was a fan and even a dehumidifier it wasn't easy to sleep with the heat wave of early June. When we arrived, after 3 hour drive off the Caen ferry, it was hard to find at first. It's next to a little hotel and we didn't see the name on the locked gate at first. A neighbour helped us by ringing the owner who had needed to leave the property for a moment so wasn't there when we arrived - we could only use our phones on WiFi which we hadn't got at that time. All good after 5 minutes though. We were given keys and instructions for the house.
