Clos de Chateau is a gem. Set in a private garden with views of the Chateau Royale, wonderful hosts and easy parking, this property is seconds away from all the charm of Amboise.

Beautiful and thoughtfully decorated spacious rooms, accessed through a lovely garden area with outside seating. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows - I slept really well. The quietest air conditioning in a room I’ve ever experienced - you really couldn’t tell it was running, but nonetheless, it worked very well and was especially welcome given the very hot temperatures in Amboise during our stay. A plentiful breakfast, with freshly cooked pastries and eggs made to order by our hostess, Caroline, who couldn’t have been more helpful, attentive and friendly during our stay. The location was amazing. Despite only being one street back from the main centre of Amboise, the street on which the property is located was very quiet, but it was literally only a two minute walk from there to all the shops and restaurants. There is limited on-street parking immediately outside, but don’t let that worry you - there is a free off-street car park probably only 100 metres or so away and very easy to find with plenty of spaces, The whole experience was an absolute pleasure and quite charming. I can’t recommend Clos du Chateau more highly.
