Cosy, welcoming, clean and convenient.

The beds were really comfortable and the room felt furnished with care, which made us like it even more. Erika was great and really helpful. I forgot to say that I was gluten free but got the impression that in future that would have been catered for. Little touches like the caraf of water provided in the room was lovely.

We liked basically everything. We all got bitten by mosquitos in the night, so maybe a mosquito plug in for nights in Room 1 would be useful for guests. A few more breakfast options would be a bonus.

A very pleasant and comfortable B&B style place. Our quadruple room was big, clean with great beds and a secluded outdoor area. We took the breakfast and it was pretty good for its value.

Specifically in our room, the wifi collapsed after an hour. We contacted the staff but they did not resolve (and didn’t care much i must add…)

One night stay in Amboise

Beautiful place and beautiful host. We stayed in the terraced room on the ground floor which has direct access to both a private terrace and the property's terrace with tables and chairs. We had dinner there "all fresco" and was lovely! The room is beautifully decorated, extremely comfy bed, excellent shower with complementary shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast was amazing, wide variety and all I tried was very good. There is street free parking just across from the property which is great. As this is very close to the centre you can park and walk everywhere. The host Erica, is a kind hearted, lovely young lady who does all she can to make the guests feel at home. Meeting her dog Pablito was a big plus 🙂. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Erica, I wish you success and happiness. Thanks for having us.

The only detail worth mentioning is the fact that the second bedroom, where the 2 beds are, doesn't have thick curtains or blinds and is quite bright, quite early. Not that it stopped my teenager son from sleeping...

Lovely hostess, very friendly and kind, good location and good size rooms.

The bedrooms were very big, the bed was huge, the family room had a separate bedroom for the children within the room, all very clean, the owner was really lovely, friendly and kind.

The level of furnishing was average, and the road it was on felt like a backstreet. But it was easily within walking distance of all the main attractions.

Loved this place

We absolutely loved this place. Erika is an excellent host who can help a lot on tourist highlights in the neighborhood. The room was kept very clean and we had a nice terrace. The breakfast was also very good. Apparently the place is frequented by parents with children, but as a couple it was fun staying here as well. We highly recommend this.

Exceptional

Very nice and comfortable house to stay. It is close to the centre of beautiful Amboise, only 5 minutes walk to the centre. The parking was free and easily accessible. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Erica was very kind and helpful with every question we had. The breakfast was excellent and delicious.Its a very good experience to live there and we suggest you this choice and recommend it to you.

I would not stay here again.

The beds were comfortable and the space was roomy with the exception mentioned below. The included breakfast was good and the hostess was very helpful.

The toilet was in a separate, very small room without a sink to wash your hands. After using the toilet you had to walk around the bed to get to the room with a sink. The toilet was situated so that your knees touched the wall which is unacceptable. The shower room with the sink was very nice.

Exceptional

The hostess, Erica, was extremely kind and accommodating. She also spoke Spanish in addition to French and English which was wonderful. Everything was clean, and I had the top master suite. The bathroom was lovely and big, and the king size bed was perfect! The room was super cute and I loved everything! Breakfast was also delicious.

Enjoyed having a room in a house with a garden and interior living space in a quiet neighborhood within a short walk to the river and the town center. Nicely appointed, clean, quiet, good breakfast, lovely hostess.

Had not realized room was on the top floor and would have preferred a lower floor due to luggage.

La Huis Clos is a great place.

Great place to stay when you come to tour the Loire Valley. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Erica, the owner, was a perfect host. She went out of her way to make us welcome in her hotel. Thank you.
