Nice enough for a nights or two

Room size was OK and staff were great. Location was great and easy access. Although by a road the room was quiet and plesant to sleep in.

The room could use with some sprusing up. Brekfast could have been great, but unfortunately there was understaffing during our visit and had no time to wait untill everything got finnished. The view from the room was of the road in front of the hotel.

It’s worth the price that I paid

The hotel is next door to the chateau and is facing the river. So you can go to walk on the river banks.

Although I was given a bigger room but I need to climb a spiral staircase to get to the room. The hotel was converted from an old building so some of the rooms are oddly situated.

A great location for seeing Amboise.

This hotel is the perfect location for seeing Amboise. Located in front of Chateau Amboise, tourist attractions were within easy walking distance including the location for being picked up for guided tours. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful, kind and welcoming. Would recommend this property.

Nice location close to the castle of Amboise. Very popular with bikers. Staff tried to help out best as they could. Nice breakfast.

Bike storage was a bit of a challenge - food in restaurant was ok but not great.

- Very welcoming host - Old building, rooms remain cold during month of August, no need to turn on AC - Super clean rooms - Secured garage for bicycles - Excellent breakfast - Quiet rooms despite looking at main road

I would stay again but next time I’d choose a room upstairs looking over the Loire river.

We had breakfast away from the hotel. There are plenty of great patisserie and restaurants on the hotels doorstep. They upgraded us and we chose a downstairs room.

The pillows could have been a little plumper. I had to use two pillows. At 4:30am we were woken by street cleaners and rubbish collections.

Beautiful town.enjoyed visit -unsure whether we'd stay at Bellevue again

Great location near castle & shops/restos behind hotel. Lovely view from room. Easy to access from out of town.

Expensive. Tiny curling stairs to room. Difficult to lug suitcases to room. No assistance offered (tiny elevator took us halfway) Dark interiors. Parking was very difficult to find spot near hotel.

With no expectations on this town and hotel, we were extremely happy.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice. The reception area was staffed with helpful people. For a smallerh, historic, hotel it was very nice inside. The location of the hotel was superb. The town of Ambroise was such a nice stop on our French vacation.

More space in the rooms would have been nice.

the lobby was beautiful. we booked the family room which had 2 beds and 2 baths. this is a great way to stay with friends but still have privacy.

the halls to our room were tight and creepy. I wouldn’t come out at night by myself.

Adequate convenient Hotel close to sites and the best restaurants.

We had upgraded rooms which had nice views of Amboise castle. Close to both chateaux and wonderful restaurants. Outlets and small lights convenient to the bed.

The toilet is in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom. The Shower is in a tub with high walls and difficult to access. Parking is difficult to find during the day. The stairway from the lobby desk to the front door has no railings and can be difficult for older folks with balance issues.
