Manoir Du Parc (Adults only)

We had a pleasant stay at Manoir du Parc. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made us feel well looked after throughout our stay. The location is excellent — very convenient for exploring Amboise on foot, while still offering a peaceful setting. The swimming pool is also a real plus, especially on very warm summer days. It was lovely to have somewhere to cool down and relax after sightseeing.

The bathroom was quite small, and personally, I would have preferred a more generously sized bathroom rather than having a kitchenette in the room. While the kitchenette may be useful for some guests, for us it made the room feel a little less elegant and somewhat less in keeping with the character of a manor house. Regarding the decor, this is of course a matter of personal taste. It simply wasn’t our preferred style, as we would have enjoyed a more traditional French-country feel that, for us, would have suited the character and setting of the property particularly well.

Superb hosting from owners; proximity to Amboise restaurants and attractions; quiet pool

The property is surrounded by a beautiful Parc with private cabins and a good size swimming pool. The annexe were we stayed was very comfortable and quiet. Spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast baskets to enjoy either in the apartment or in the garden

The bathroom had a very small shower

This beautiful old Manoir was just perfect, the accomodation and breakfast was great. Having a pool to cool off in at the end of the day was heaven. It is so close to everything
