Very enjoyable, both town and accommodation recommended

The location is great, 5 minutes walk from the castle and town centre. Gaëlle was lovely when we dealt with her. We turned up early so she allowed us to store bags until the room was ready, then she booked us a taxi when we needed to get to the station on our last day. We had one of the apartments which was a good size for two people, and the cooking facilities were what we needed when we didn't want to eat out. If you order the breakfast basket, that is 12 euros per person but there was that much in it, it did us for 2 days. Rooms were clean and bins changed every day. Amboise is a lovely town to visit and this is a recommended place to stay.

The pool doesn't open until 11am which we felt was a bit late as a swim in the morning before we went off for the day could've been nice. This might have been as we went later in the season.

excellent location, wonderful place to stay, very romantic. Staff is very kind and atention to detail was excellent. wonderful gardens that we used a lot, a bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us in the room.

Perfect a gem in the heart of Amboise.

Upon arrival we upgraded our room to a garden 'cabana' with a hot tub. The cabana was situated in the lovely quiet grounds of the hotel with a view of Chateau Amboise from the balcony - so relaxing, beautiful, quiet and private. The facilities in the cabana were excellent - a comfy bed, a seating area a bathroom, separate shower and toilet. We opted to source our own supper and enjoy sitting/eating out on our balcony as the sun set. Central to Amboise with the Chateau a 5min walk. Excellent food and wine tasting in the bars in the Chateau walls. Private car parking. A real gem would highly recommend staying at this hotel - lots of variety in accommodation and perfect hosts.

Perfect for a stay in Amboise

Walking distance to castle and restaurants. Free parking. Apartment in the stables was great although we didn’t use the kitchenette. The bed was comfy and large and what a bonus to have air conditioning and electric shutters. Everything very clean. View to garden. Pool was superb - we had it to ourselves on a very hot day! Really lovely place. Treehouse accommodation looked amazing - might stay there next time!

Perfect place to stay in Amboise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in one of the lovely cottages and it was perfect. It was private and well equipped and extremely comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and wonderful.

A gem in beautiful Amboise

We stayed in a studio apartment in the annex building and it was spotless with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. We ordered the breakfast basket which came with baguette, croissants and a large bottle of orange juice. Gaelle was very friendly and helpful and runs an amazing property which I would love to visit again. There was free private on site parking. The location was excellent just a 5 minute walk to everything but in a really peaceful area so there was no noise. It was our favourite accommodation on our Loire Valley trip.

The room was very underwhelming the outlook was of someone’s back yard which was disappointing especially as I thought we were going to get our own outside space. I was more disappointed with booking.com which could not facilitate shortening our stay so we paid for 6 days but only stayed for 4

Great Place to Start France Vacation

Everything was just as it was advertised. Walking distance to everything. The pool was beautiful, even though we didn't have much time to spend there. Close to bike rentals. Bruno and Gaelle were attentive and so helpful. We lost a backpack biking and my husband fell off his bike. Bruno was kind enough to help clean up the scrape. This was a perfect way to start our trip in France.

Setting was both central and quiet with ample parking. We were upgraded to a lovely, spacious room with a deluxe bath, including jacuzzi. Pool area was a nice place to relax, both quiet and shady.

Idilic Spot in Cental Amboise

Beautiful setting with lots of outdoor space. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep due to the blackout blinds and quiet locaton. Ideally located for visiting Amboise on foot.

Shower was a squeeze due to the location of the taps and the shower screen.

Quiet and comfortable accommodations in Amboise

Well located comfortable accommodation in a small park away from the street, quiet, friendly staff, very clean, with a small heated swimming pool, numerous restaurants and château within walking distance.

The price of over 250 Euros per night without breakfast was exorbitant, especially considering it was not high season. The bathroom and shower were tiny.

Very Happy and comfortable stay

Rustic and upmarket at the same time. Very Comfortable King Size bed ( 1.80 m x 200) Unique setting in the park in the Manoir Grounds Nice pool sun-beds and parasols. Great position in the town just 19mins walk to the restaurants , bars and everything the Amboise town has offer . Good secure on site parking.

Lovely house and large room. Quiet area of town.

Location is great and quiet. Breakfast wasn't included, it costs 12E so we didn't opt to have it.

Floors were VERY squeaky in our room, but I know it's an old house. The body wash/shampoo combo is not good on your hair and left it feeling like straw. It would be nice to have a separate body wash and shampoo/conditioner.

The accommodation was in a very convenient position which made walking around Amboise terrific. The gardens and pool area were nice.

The room felt a bit barren and cold. Everything was clean but compared to other places we have stayed the room needed some adding of colour and warmth. The pillows were flat.

Location was perfect, close to all shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Close to great restaurants with unbelievable menu. Room specious with basic kitchen, owner operating and extremely friendly and helpful. Quiet Room overlooking very nice backyard.
