The hotel is a gem!

The hotel was spotless, creatively decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, abundant, and delicious. The kind staff cheerfully and thoughtfully attended to our every need—including dinner reservations and arranging transportation. It truly felt as if we were staying with old friends. We were sorry to leave and would happily return.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel-Spa - Au Charme Rabelaisien and Richard, his wife and Cristof were fantastic hosts, extremely friendly and so accommodating. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and they went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed and did anything to make us happy! We loved their breakfast and would highly recommend a stay here.

A gem of a hotel, perfectly located in Amboise.

This is a fantastic hotel. Perfectly located in the centre of Amboise but with the sweetest garden to sit in and a small swimming pool. The staff we very helpful and lovely. Room was very well appointed and breakfast was perfect. The staff helped us find a great restaurant. A gem.

Great hotel stay in Amboise!

This is a charming and very well run hotel. Amboise is a great town for access to Loire Valley sites. Aurelia and Richard were very personable and helpful. Aurelia gave great recommendations for dining too. The room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. We loved our stay here.

We had the perfect stay, look forward to returning and will highly recommend this hotel.

We were greeted every morning with the happiest "Good Morning! How was your sleep? Where would you like to sit in the garden for breakfast?" We enjoyed glorious sleep, delicious breakfasts with excellent service and were able to walk or cycle to all locations in and around Amboise. The staff was particularly accommodating when we arrived quite early before check in and made it possible for us to get to our bike rental and tour the chateaux on schedule.

There was very little to not like. We became used to a less powerful fan and air conditioning but it was still quite satisfactory.

A lovely overnight stop in Amboise

This pretty and peaceful property is nicely tucked away in town just a few minutes walk from the Chateau and town's main restaurant area. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a large comfortable bed and good sized en-suite. We also had a beautiful view of the Chateau from our window. The staff were all wonderful - very helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Amboise!

This is a lovely hotel right in the middle of town, making daily strolls and access to food and shopping very easy. The staff is super helpful. I loved our room on the top floor with a view of Chateau Amboise! The large bathroom and huge tub was an added bonus after a long day of walking. We enjoyed the local brewery, Les Arpents for an outstanding meal, but our favorite part was simply walking around the town and returning to our comfortable, cozy room.

A wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay during our visit. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the town center. The facilities were great including the comfort of the room, bed and bathroom and it’s extremely quiet. Warm towels, coffee in the room, tub and shower, great bed and linens. The grounds are lovely, with lots of room to sit and relax, including the pool! The couple that owns and runs the hotel along with staff were helpful, engaging and just lovely. If I ever have the opportunity to return to the region, this will always be my hotel of choice.
