Fabulous small hotel in idyllic location.

Charming hotel in idyllic location. Attention to detail is amazing. Lovely staff, very clean, fabulous garden patio for eating out in the summer. Good transport links with bus stop outside and short walk to amenities in Sils Maria or to the lake to swim. Transport card for area included.

Great place to stay in a beautiful location

Very comfortable, clean and pleasant room with plenty of hanging space and places to put things. Very nice bathroom. We had a view out to the mountain on the nearside of the valley edge - we might have chosen to pay more for a view up the valley towards the lake with hindsight. The hotel is really well run and the staff are really professional and pleasant. Breakfasts and dinners excellent. The hotel has a garden and is situated next to flower-filled (in early July) meadows running down to the lake so beautiful strolls in the immediate area. Very close (5 minutes walk ) to Sils Maria with cafes and a couple of shops. Can walk up Fex valley from Sils Maria. Also only 10-15 minutes walk to cable car where can do other lovely walks. And there is a bus stop right outside so easy to go a little further afield eg walk along lake to Maloja and get bus back. Hotel gives you a card so you get the bus and cable car "free".

We enjoyed our stay but the expensive hidden extras took the shine off it.

Warm welcome, exceptionally friendly staff, lovely large guest lounge, delicious food and the additional price for half board was very reasonable. Great care was taken to protect both the guests and staff from COVID19 eg. plenty of hand disinfectant provided, a maximum of four guests at a time at the breakfast buffet, separate portions of muesli and fruit salad provided etc. Our room was adequate, some rooms had balconies but unfortunately ours didn't but we enjoyed having a bath.

There was no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was also no television which we didn't miss but if we had wanted one we would have had to pay Fr 8.00 per day! We found the price of tap water at dinner (Fr 7.00 per litre) too expensive.

Most charming & welcoming family-run hotel with excellent cuisine and perfect location

Wonderfully personal welcome from the hotel owner Mr Courtin. Extremely friendly & professional staff. Very cozy and charming decoration. Perfect location facing the lake and a short walk to the village centre.

Die Ruhe und Natur mit dem Feldstecher beobachten und geniessen

Alles bestens, kann ich gerne weiterempfehlen. Nach meinem Brsuch erhielt ich sogar eine Postkarte… Was auch super war, mein Zimmer hatte kein TV. Somit hatte man Zeit die Natur zu geniessen mit drm Felddtecher, was die Zimmerausstattung anbelangte.

Sehr freundliches Personal, freundlicher Empfang, ein Früchteteller mit Studentenfutter, Sogliopflegeprodukte, reichhaltiges Frühstüvksbuffet

Ich habe einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer, zum Tee machen, vermisst. Zum Teil waren die Wasserleitungen der anderen Zimmer sehr deutlich hörbar.

❤️-lichen Dank an das gesamte Chesa Randolina Team. Absolut alles war super bei Euch! Von der sehr freundlichen Begrüssung, zum liebevoll hergerichteten Zimmer, dem super leckeren Essen und dem zuvorkommenden und herzlichen Service. Das Chesa Randolina ist ein Hotel wie man es sich als Gast wünscht. Und dass nebst genügend Parkplätzen auch die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel ist, machen auch alle Ausflüge vom Hotel aus, sehr einfach.

Herrlich, wohltuend, erholsam, wir kommen wieder.

Die Lage, die Einrichtung, das freundliche und sehr zuvorkommende Personal, sehr gutes Essen, eine excellente Weinkarte, gute Zeitungen vorhanden, mit Tablet fast alle Zeitungen abrufbar, reichhaltige Bar, guter Ski- und Wachsraum, gut eingerichtete Zimmer, es ist heimelig, sehr zu empfehlen.

Un lieu parfait pour se reposer face au lac après une journée de balades dans Sils

Excellent séjour dans l'hotel Chesa Randolina. Personnel professionnel et à l'écoute. Mobilier traditionnel, typique de la région, très chaleureux, surtout le lounge ou on aurait envie d'y passer toute la journée. Super l'accès aux journaux, livres, films dans la bibliothèque. Idéal pour passer un moment de détente avec une part de gâteau et un thé. Petit déjeuner de haute qualité, un moment convivial juste après le réveil. Position très centrale vis à vis de Sils, du lac, et des chemins de randonnée. Chambre propre, lit confortable. Notre petit chien a pu également dîner à coté de nous dans une salle à manger très cozy.

Le prix était trop élevé à notre avis - en effet nous en venions d'un resort à Arosa ou au même prix nous avons eu une chambre beaucoup plus grande avec accès à spa et salle de sport. Malgré la perfection des finitions et du design, la chambre était un poil serré pour nous (certainement la plus petite que nous avons eu en Suisse), nous n'avions pas envie d'y rester longtemps. Aussi, le positionnement au-dessus de la cuisine fait que nous étions réveillés par les bruits du staff le matin. Une autre petite déception également au restaurant; le dîner était agréable, dans un bon cadre et service de qualité, exécuté parfaitement et avec des bons ingrédients, mais pour le prix fixe nous nous attendions plus d'originalité dans les propositions. Malheureusement le menu à la carte ne peux qu'être commandé avant 13H - impossible pour nous de se décider le matin sur ce qu'on aurait envie de manger le soir. Ainsi nous avons préféré diner ailleurs les soirs suivantes.
