Beautiful

I had a truly magical stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was absolutely perfect — quiet area but also walking distance to everything (with an incredible view). The space itself was wonderful: spacious, beautifully maintained, and the kitchen was especially helpful, making the stay feel comfortable and convenient. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to help with anything I needed. One of our favorite touches was the pastry delivery each morning — such a thoughtful and delicious way to start the day! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special and memorable stay.

An extremely delightful place to stay and relax!

Extremely supportive owner (Andi) who responded to my queries very promptly and with clear instructions. Place was very cosy, clean, well equipped if you want to cook. Best view of the lake from the bedroom windows!

The only downside was the up hill walk to the property.

Gorgeous view!

I absolutely loved staying here. The house had a stunning view of the lake, was clean, and had everything I needed! The host was extremely responsive and does a wonderful job at keeping the area supplied. The house was very close to the viewing point as well and in a quieter area of the village.

Our room in apartment 1 was facing the Hallstatt lake directly. Very beautiful view. There was a flight of steps to the apartment but Andi was very helpful to lug our luggages up and down for us girls!! Thank you Andi

The upslope from ferry terminal to the apartment. While it’s only a 10 min walk, the slope was pretty steep for us girls with big luggage’s to push.

Very tranquil

Excellent location in the centre of Hallstatt. Beautiful views over the lake. A lovely little fridge of daily items is available for purchase to make breakfast, and fresh bread and pastries are provided daily. Spacious apartment, extremely welcoming and comfortable to arrive to. The host, Andi, was available and easy to contact with any questions.

This is not about the apartment, but it is important that people are aware that there are very few dining options in town. The apartment is great if you want to cook, and there are two supermarkets in town, but options are a bit limited (pasta, frozen foods). The restaurants at the two central larger hotels are good, but you have to book, and they may be fully booked for in-house guests. Other smaller restaurants are more like cafes, and they close early (5 or 6pm).

This was the perfect place for my solo vacation!

The apartment was absolutely perfect. I had everything I needed, it was easy to find and the view was amazing. Fresh pastries were delivered to my door every morning.

A peaceful spot in an idyllic location

The lake view was amazing from the bedroom and the space was lovely and cosy in the cold autumn weather. Our host left helpful tips for parking and place of interest to visit .

The bed didn’t have great mattresses and no choice other than big pillows which made our sleep not so great. Small things like adding milk in the fridge would have been nice touches.

Beautiful and cosy apartment overlooking stunning views of the lake. Quick walk up from the ferry point. You have everything you need provided for a comfortable stay. Fresh bread delivered to your door daily and items for breakfast etc available to purchase on the spot. Great communication from the property from the time of booking and all through the stay.

The bed creaked alot on the slightest movement which can wake you up regularly.

Our room at Haus Fraziska was lovely. The view of lake Hallstatt was beautiful. Our hosts were very accommodating answering my many questions quickly and kindly. There was everything we needed for a lovely stay in Hallstatt.

It was the best apartment that I and my husband have ever stayed at. The apartment was very thoughtfully managed and equipped with attention to minute details that made us feel at home and very well looked after. The view from the apartment is just breathtaking, the pictures really don’t do justice to how it actually looks!

Cozy apartment with great views

The location is excellent and is very easy to find. Everything is walking distance. The little apartment is perfect size and very cozy with an incredible view of the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed. The place was clean, and they also provided bedsheets, towels, shampoo, and shower gel. The self check in and check out were easy to do. Also, the left pastry in our door to have breakfast, which was an extra added service that we really appreciated. The host was nice. We only had online contact, but they were always available to help if needed. They also left a lot of information about what to do in Hallstatt.

I felt that the bed, especially the pillows, was not that comfortable. Also, around 6:30 am everyday there was a lot of noise coming from the apartment above us. Something like a person jumping or running. However, if you are not a light sleeper, it should be fine. Even with these little things, we would totally come back.

The property was on the quieter side of town. Bed was comfortable. Hallstatt is great from 7:00 PM to around 9:00 AM when the crowds from the tour buses are gone. Wonderful hikes nearby.

Needs a separate sitting area with a comfortable small couch or two chairs to relax on. You can get rid of the TV and place the chairs there. Bathroom needs towel rack(s). Kitchen needs a chefs knife.

Lots of space and plenty of facilities to self cater which is handy in Hallstatt as most places close by 6pm. The apartment was in a great location with beautiful views of the lake. Andi is a great host and messaged to say we could get in early. Essential items like milk, butter, yoghurt etc were available to buy at the same price as the supermarket. A lovely touch was the fresh bread rolls that were delivered to our door each morning. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Loved this place!! Beautiful views, The bed was so comfy we had a great nights sleep. The shower was clean and hot. Brilliant communication with Andi with check in details and how to get there via the train and was always happy to answer any questions.

Perfect Stay!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Only a short walk from the ferry port, the instructions left for us were very clear on how to get into the property. The room was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Not to mention too the view from the room was beautiful, and right outside was the famous viewpoint of the town. The owners let us know about where to wash clothes in town when asked, and that daylight savings was starting during our stay. They were very helpful. On the morning of checkout, there was a bag of assorted breads left at our door. Would stay here again, and recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Hallstatt!

Highly Recommended

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The room has a nice view out of the window. The location is strategic. It is just a short walk (maybe less than 50 steps) from the iconic viewpoint of the town and not too far from the ferry terminal. The kitchen is fully equipped with the necessary utensils such as pots, plates, cutleries, and so on, and also not forgetting the variety of tea selections and confections in the room. Some common breakfast foods are sold at the premises by trust system which is amazing. The host was very responsive. He answered all our enquiries promptly. If we requested for it, bread was provided by the host every morning by 6:30 am (if I remember the time correctly).

The best!!

So so amazing……. One of the best accoms we’ve been to before. Place was spotless, beds were super comfortable, there was Netflix, was a kitchen for you to cook… the whole place was just warm and cozy. The best thing was a mini self-service shop that lets you buy your cooking ingredients - pasta, sauce, meat, milk, can drinks, alcohol, beer… it’s such a cool concept that we cooked and had one of the best meals in the cold weather. Thank you Andy for the great hospitality & service! Such a good location as well… enjoyed our stay so much (;
