Poor communication but location was good

The location was great.

We didn’t receive check-in instructions until the scheduled check-in time, which caused over three hours of unnecessary delay, stress, and additional parking costs. We reached out to the host but did not receive timely response. Since we were only staying for one day, that lost time really impacted our plans. Without guidance on where to park, we ended up leaving the car two miles away, and my pregnant wife had to walk the entire distance- something that could’ve been avoided with earlier communication.

Fantastic village, apartment was okay. The check out at 10 am is too early because the shuttle service doesn't work well.

The shuttle service was terrible!!! When we were leaving they promised to pick us up at 10.30. Nobody came. We called again and the driver said he will come at 11.20. No one came and it was raining!!! Then we had to walk to the parking place, in the rain. We saw one of the shuttle company's van in the old city and asked the driver is he the guy who should pick us up. He first didn't want open the window, and then he said it was an service van. I asked if he could call the driver and he said he don't have a phone! He closed the window and left!

The apartment is big and comfortable. The location is very that near the iconic viewpoint of Hallstatt. If you want to take photos in the early morning or sunset, it will be your choice. The kitchen is well equipped with various utensils, fridge, washing machine, and seasoning. (There is not much choice in restaurant in Hallstatt and we chose to cook by ourselves.

1. there are few steps to go downstairs before arrive the door, if with big luggage, a bit difficult but not big trouble; 2. can not deposit luggages at the property after check out, has to go to tourist center

Well located

It was December time and the heaters in the apartment were not switched on. I called the staff and was informed that the heating is controlled by them centrally. So I had to request them to switch it on, albeit it was shocking that the heaters were not turned on by default in December time. However even with the heater turned on the apartment was still COLD! I paid £111 for this apartment and was expecting to be in warmth BUT NOT freezing in my bed sheets!

Beautiful Apartment in Hallstatt

Excellent location and easy to access property/keys at a later hour. Very comfortable living space, great for couples. Very nice bed with a beautiful view of the lake - slept wonderfully! Would definitely stay again and highly recommended
