We miss a sofa to rest a while before to go to bed. But we saw that it doesn't have, thanks to house picture. So nothing wrong.

Nice place, good location and good kitchen.

The location is beautiful and just out of the chaos of the bus tours. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortably.

I don't like 10am checkouts. I'm on vacation and lazy, I don't want to rush.

Highly recommended apartment :)

Cosy and comfortably arranged apartment with a like-at-home feeling. Well equipped kitchen. Wonderful host, kind and helpful, nice to talk to. Localisation in a peaceful vicinity, far from crowds, but within a walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the lake, salt mine, bus stop, market and bakery. Good starting point for the trail to Gletschergarten and nearby waterfalls. Private car park next to the house, one slot for each appartment.

Nothing to complain about. A hint for those who come by car: the streets in Lahn are very thight, though not one-way. Just drive slowly, you will find a place to pass a car going in the opposite direction. ;)

Wonderfull stay

Peter has been very good host. Apartment is equipped with all the essential items, fully funtional kitchen makes it easy for families travelling with kids. The apartment is close to town which makes it very convenient stay.

Just excellent.

The location is perfect. You can walk half mile from ferry dock to the property or you can take a taxi from Obertraun station. Away from noisy touristy areas and still walkable to all the attractions including a small hike to the waterfalls. The host is fantastic and goes out of the way to help and make sure your stay is comfortable.

Perfect !!

Peter’s house is beautiful — spacious, peaceful, and located very close to the main market area, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Peter himself was incredibly helpful. When we couldn’t book a cab for our early morning train, he took the responsibility and arranged one for us. We really appreciated his kindness and support!

Excellent holiday spot!

Peter offered all the necessary information. The location is at the entrance of magnificent trails. so I would highly recommend it if you are into a quiet location into a convenient entrance to the nature. If you’re getting to Hallstatt through public transportation, I would recommend taking the bus and the name of the bus station is Hallstatt Lahn, instead of the ship station.

Without driving, this place requires some walking, but our family is into walking so this is the best spot.

Amazing apartment in the mountains

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Amazing location in between two cliffs, right in the middle of the mountains. The apartment was huge with two bathrooms and views in all directions. Hallstatt is very difficult to park in, but here you get your own parking place just 10 minute walk from the village.

Lovely, re-stored home in Hallstatt with amazing scenery.

Absolutely serene and beautiful location. Very clean and well- appointed apartment which was a great place to stay in this small, picturesque tourist town. It was enough off the beaten path but still easily accessible to enjoy this place. Beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was very clean and quiet. Peter is a kind and helpful host. We would stay here again without hesitation! Highly recommended. Thank you !

The perfect trip.

We were 7 girls staying at 2 rooms it was perfect. Very clean. Peter was very helpful with finding all the attractions and they even kept little complimentary chocolates it was so cute. Also all rooms have some type of Mountain View because you’re surrounded by them. It’s a 20 min walk to the center with all the restaurants and less than 10 mins to the salt mine which you have to visit . Over all perfect stay with beautiful views it was very sad to leave. I also added a picture of the general place and one of the view of the mountains at sunrise from the single bed room.

Perfect apartment in quiet residential area within walking distance to town center.

The Steinbrecher house is located in a quiet residential area within walking distance to the town center. We were grateful for the peace and quiet in an otherwise overrun touristy village. Thankfully, the town itself was rather quiet and enjoyable in the morning and after about 6 pm.

The house was top! It was disappointing, if not sad, to experience how a small quaint village could be so taken over by international tourism. One had to oversee and overhear the thousands in order to take in the breathtaking views.

Almost everything. Perfect location, nice, cosy, very clean and well equipped apartments with nice view. The host is really kind, acted quickly for all kinds of requests. Value for money!

Shutters/blinders were a bit insufficient. Would have been nice to have a bit darker in the rooms in the mornings.

We stayed at Haus steinbrecher with our little baby girl, the host preperd for us a crib with beautiful sheets, I can say it was the best crib ( among other staff at Haus)that we had in our trip to Austria. The apartment little but comfortable The location is perfect. also u have a back garden to enjoy the sun . I would recommend this property:)

Amazing host. Comfortable and renovated nice place.

Renovated new bathroom and spacious enough. Kitchen has all appliances. Walking distance from HallStatt center and from a trail to waterfalls. Quiet area, yet not too far from center.

I would prefer a bit bigger apartment. Yet, overall is really good value with amazing host, that helped with tips and everything we needed. I would definitely come back.
