pleasant stay… if you have light sleepers with you the wood does really creak when walking around!

The location and view from the property is amazing

Check in instructions were not shared prior to arrival. so once i got there luckily i had a whats app number and managed to get the key code for the keybox if i didnt have the number with 2 children i would have been waiting around for sometime. the property does not have simple things such as a wardrobe to place your clothes, no iron or TV. there is little to no lighting outside with many stairs to climb. so at night you do need your phone light. check out instructions also not provided or how to arrange shuttle bus back to the car park. overall these are minor points which can easily be corrected. its a nice property and you will appreciate it. just needs some minor touches to make the experience a little better.

Our booked room given to someone else in fully booked hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel to check in, they told us they'd given our room to someone else and all the rooms were full. They took us to Gluck am See (a daily rental apartment) and said, "It's either this or no room." Since we couldn't find a room on any other hotel or Airbnb that same day, we were forced to stay there. The staff was incredibly embarrassed, but the hotel owner?/manager? practically scammed us. NEVER AGAIN!

Hallstatt is excellent but does get flooded with tourist buses each day.

The location is good, but for those trying to find it (Hallstatt house numbers are totally random) it is at the junction of Seestrasse and Dr F Morton-weg.

There is no TV, and the stairs can be a little difficult with luggage.

the shower head is a bit low so hard to use unless you are actually having a bath, otherwise we liked everything

The location was excellent, the apartment was clean and large. The balcony was lovely with a excellent view.

Good but can be better

Easy to check-in, host can communicate well, great location, beautiful view from the main window!

- no parking space, if you drive, you have to park and pay at the public parking spaces. - entire unit is dirty, full of dust. - Some windows cannot be opened. - kitchen amenities, not equipped well at all. We come here cooking but wish they provide pepper and salt, and perhaps some oil. I bought them but can't finish at all. - toilet is not within the same unit, it's next to the main door. - host is not well-informed on the public parking space prices. It was since increased and she was still telling me old information.

We like to stay there. There is a fantastic view from the house and it is like a dream. This location is a like heaven.

We liked location and the house was big. You can smell fresh air, listen the birds’ songs and enjoy the view.

Just small items was missing and the house is a cold alittle.

Very bad experience as property provided was not as per description and extremely poor support from booking.com

No positive point regarding the property. The property is fraud. The description on the booking.com is incorrect. They give you a accommodation which is 21km far from the lake. The accommodation provided was in a hilly area extremely difficult to reach. The accomodation provided was half the size of the accommodation mentioned in the description. The booking.com did not provide the support when I complained about the incorrect description of the property.

The entire experience was exhausting as the property provided was 21km away from the lake and from the property described here . It was physically and mentally exhausting drive to reach the accomodation. It consumes lot of fuel as it was provided in a very remote and hilly area. With no phone connectivity and not recommended for a tourist. In addition the host does not respond on time . I had to call 6 to 7 times during the checkin time and they share the address only when you call during the checkin time so you don’t have a place until they pick up the call.

Perfect place, beautiful apartment with a lake view. Clean and comfortable. Great communication with the host. We certainly recommend this place.

Upon arrival we had difficulties to park the car at the Central parking which was full.

Need a little TLC but location is good

Location was great. Right in the start of Hallstatt village. It’s an apartment so it has small kitchen and shared outdoor space was lovely.

It’s pricey for what it is. Understand the location is great and Hallstatt is small village so you pay premium for the location however, I’d appreciate if they clear the description for the lake view- it really isn’t. Think if you get the top room, you’ll get full lake view that you see on website but from our room, you see small bit of the lake. Didn’t bother us too much as we stayed really shorty time but would do some who are expecting full lake view. If you’re driving , they will suggest parking at P1 and take shuttle bus but unless you have huge luggage with you, just walk! It’s only about 5-10 minutes walk down. Shuttle driver was really unpleasant and bus is tiny so we saw many people were waiting with huge luggage plus baby pram we decided to walk and it was super easy! Would be nice if we were informed there is walking option because we thought it’s miles away. Bathroom - no shower curtain kind of impossible to have standing shower. Bathtub Drain don’t work . Overall would’ve been great if few things fixed.

Lovely despite my injury.

It was a beautiful apartment with views of the mountains and lake from most windows. When I finally managed to get hold of the host and get the code for the key - through another resident! - the host was great.

It was very difficult getting in touch with the host because they didn't receive my email giving them my European phone number (my Canadian phone doesn't work here). But worst of all, I sprained my ankle the first night on the one step down from one part of the bathroom to the other. I twisted my foot there a total of three times. Hallstatt has no medical clinic, so I've had to wait to return to Vienna to get it treated.

Disappointing

The property was large and in a good location. the lady who helped check us in was very helpful.

The shower tap broke and we couldn’t have a shower. The linen supplies for the sofa bed was inadequate (no sheet) and the mattress protector was not clean.

Absolutely stunning.

Sandra (the host) is very lovely, she waited for us while we were running late and helped us changed the sheets on the beds. The rooms are very spacious, and the view from the window is incredible! It’s right at the entrance of the town, so it’s very convenient if you have a lot of luggage, since cars are not allowed in due to the history of the town. Hallstatt is stunning, with lots of homemade goods and delicious food stalls in town. There are swans on the lake and cats walking freely along the street. It’s very calm at night and in the mornings, and I would 100% live here again.

Very pleasant stay, would love to stay again.

This is an unforgettable stay for me and my wife. The location is fantastic and the apartment is very clean. Compared to other place to stay nearby and considering the price, it is a 10/10. Sandra as the host is fantastic. We would love to stay here again.

Overpriced stay

Mattress was comfortable

The amount they charged for 2 nights is not what the apartment is worth at all. It was massively misleading on the pictures when booking. Its worth half of what we paid. No care or attention to detail in the apartment at all. Tiny kitchen (no microwave, no oven and sign which says "no cooking which smells" A sofa facing a wardrobe in the hallway, isn't very well thought about. The shower door lets water all over bathroom floor when showering. Toilet next to the kitchen, not very pleasant. Outside balcony is very small, useless and again misleading on pictures. The company are clearly upping the prices to get the most out of people and we felt ripped off by the place considering the amount we paid.

Very good

The location is excellent with an outdoor seat and table. We arrived early, and we were able to store our luggage in the apartment before it was ready.

The floors are extremely noisy when guests above move. You can hear every step. Also, another annoying thing was that on booking.com, it offered some tea and a few coffee pots, but that wasn't there.

Amazing!

This is an amazing property to rent in Hallstatt, I can imagine that in the summer it is even better with the outdoor space they had. It is really close to everything and the views are incredible. The rooms where huge and well furnished!

Kitchen was a bit small, would have liked to have a microwave or even just more counter space. Also would have liked to access the downstairs room from the stairwell so that I could go to my parents room with out being afraid to slip in the dark outside.

Everything was wonderful!

It was very clean,spacious and of good quality. The staff was very friendly too Especially Sandra was willing to help us with whatever we needed, she was very professional She gave us many suggestions on how to spend our holiday ever more beautiful!! Sandra personally came to our apartment at the time that we had to check out and showed us a safe place where we could leave our luggages until we left Hallstatt cause we wanted to go for a walk I was really impressed 😊 Definitely I will go again Everything was amazing

Divine. Surreal.

I liked that the neighbouring people were also very helpful. It makes you feel good and secure.

Since I am a foreigner, I am not familiar with the lock and key system of Europe. It’s quite interesting that you have to punch a code and extract your keys outside your room :)

Nice view from apartment

- Extremely overpriced - We ask for bed, for 1y old kid and they didnt prepare. - Bed was very soft, I must slept on sofa. (9000 Czk for night). - No cleaning, no another toalet paper, no more towels. - nobody was there for help with check-in. Owner said they gonna call us. (nobody call, nobody answer). - They charge us 90 euros !! for another person on apartment (older than 5y). We havent nobody with us and our child 1y was include in price with booking.com. Never more.

We had to park our car 1,5 km away from the apartment and take all our stuff with us. We paid €30 for 2 days. The curtains where not good because the light came in

Beautiful town , terrible host

We liked beautiful town

First of all , we never received our actual booked apartment with lake view and balcony , the host Sandra told us it was given to someone else, instead we got bottom apt. , which nobody cleaned, unpleasant smell as we walked into apt. , the bed sheets were dirty with stain and hair , dirty was bathroom and sofa as well. Our tries to contact the host to get at least clean bed sheets were never answered.Also in front of apt. were cigarette butts everywhere. We had no choice to go anywhere at evening of our arrival so we left apt. early next morning.
