Fantastic communication from the moment we booked, offering helpful tips for arrival and for places to eat. Beautiful room, well furnished and clean, great shower. Hallstatt is stunning and we relished the chance to explore late evening and early in the morning before the hoardes of day-trippers arrived. Literally everything in the town closes at 6pm apart from restaurants in hotels so if you haven't booked somewhere you'll struggle. Even in the one we had booked we felt that they were rushing us to eat so they could close.
I agree with other reviews that a fan would be a nice addition. I think if we'd stayed another night I'd have felt a bit claustrophobic but cannot fault the room or the hosts. Thank you.

It's a beautiful place in the heart of Hallstatt. The room and broader property was oozing with character, and had one of the coolest bathrooms we've seen. Perfectly embodied the town.
The room is fairly cozy but was perfectly fine for a night.
