Everything was perfect. It is good for the people who wants to cook by themselves. The owner of the apartment is very friendly and indeed, very honest. The view from the apartment was excellent.

The owner, Frau Ruth, was a fantastic host. She gave us a good history of Halstatt, pointed out good and "bad" dining spaces, and even did a load of laundry for us.

The tub-shower combination is a bit difficult to maneuver for an older person like me. But the bathroom was spotless, and the water hot. I'd stay again.

Smell of smoke

The house is located in the quiet part of Hallstatt, about 4 min walk from the center. The apartment is located directly to the lake with a breathtaking view. The top storey was ours, it was built of wood, everything was comfortable and clean. The shuttle bus was well organised from the parking lot to the apartment and back.

We only could park our car in the public parking lot - this is the case of every apartment located in the village - which is situated in 10 minutes of walk. This was not a big problem for us but it's worth to know. A shuttle bus took us and the luggages at arrival and when we left.

A great place to stay in a beautiful town of Hallstatt. View from balcony is amazing - having a breakfast or supper there is a must have ;) Plenty of informations received from the host which made our stay easier to plan and enjoy.

the only good thing about this place is location .. nothing else

booked this place during our euro trip with my family .. on Easter Monday we decided that our next stop will be Hallstatt .. I start searching properties in this beautiful village and I found this property … I read first 2 reviews and I said ok let’s try as reviews been good .. I just wished I read all of the reviews ( negative once ) .. we have been travelling by car from Poland ( we had 9 hours drive ) I messaged to the lady what time approximately we will be and I explained we travelling from far … around 8 pm I received a call from the owner if we can hurry up as she is hungry and she is not gonna wait for us to check us in as she wants to eat her dinner with family . I apologised and explained it was massive traffic .. and explained we will be in 20-30 min .. the owner again in very rude Manner and not very friendly tone of her voice said hurry up ! If the property wouldn’t be prepaid I would cancel that after this conversation ! But because she charged us 320 euros per night I said fine we need to stay there.. when we arrived I was shocked … I thought I booked 80 m apartment for ourself .. but then the owner explained she live with her family downstairs , and we have a upstairs .. all rooms ( especially living room ) stink of cigarette .. the smell was that strong that all out clothes after 1 night stinks of cigarette smell . the owner said to me it was previous guests but now I see review from few years ago with the same problem. She put containers around the house with coffee inside to reduce the smell , but didn’t help .. the worst part is that we had the same main exit … going to the bathroom everyone could see you so you had to make sure after bath you changing straight in a bathroom before going to the rooms . our rooms could t closed .. you couldn’t close your rooms with a key and we felt extremely uncomfortable !

Location was perfect, the views amazing and there is lots of space with all the amenities you need.

Owner lived downstairs and smoked inside so the house smelled like cigarettes the entire time which as a non smoker, was not enjoyable, especially with a baby with us.

Ideal location to spend your holidays in Hallstat. The entire floor waz provided to us. It has a huge balcony overlooking the lake and mountain. The lady of the house Ruth was very very cordial. She gave complete details about the place . She gave a short tour of her home. I would love to come back and stay here

Çok temizdi. Gerçekten tertemizdi. ev paylaşılan resimlerden kat ve kat güzel. Odalarda anahtar/kilit olmamasına rağmen güvenlik ve mahremiyet açısından sorun yaratmadı.

Aynı kapıdan girilen tek bir konut. İlanda görülen göle bakan bahçeyi kullanamıyorsun.

A kilátás a szálláshelyről igazán különleges volt, gyönyörűen látszottak a környező hegyek és a tó. Bár a városra közvetlen panoráma nem nyílt.

Idős szüleimmel és kisgyermekemmel érkeztem, ezért előzetesen többször jeleztem a tulajdonosnak, hogy számunkra fontos, hogy ne kelljen sokat gyalogolni és lépcsőzni. Ennek ellenére nem tájékoztatott róla, hogy a ház a lehető legmesszebb esik a parkolótól. Így minden indulásnál és érkezésnél min 25 -25 perces sétát kellett tenni, ami a család számára rendkívül megterhelő volt. A szállás belső kialakítása sem volt megfelelő: az apartman alatt lakó tulajdonos a mi főbejáratunkon át közlekedik a saját részébe, ami nagyon kellemetlen és zavaró. A szobáinknak ennek ellenére még kulcsa sem volt. Emellett láncdohányos, a füst felszállt a lakrészünkbe, és minden ruhánk cigarettaszagú lett – ez teljesen elfogadhatatlan, különösen kisgyerekkel. Érkezésünkkor hosszasan sorolta a ház több oldalas szabályzatát, ami nagyon túlzó, miközben a ház állapota elhanyagolt, régi, dohos, hideg és zajos volt. Az első éjszaka konkrétan megfagytunk, vastag utcai ruhában aludtunk. A padló recseg, a legkisebb zaj is felébreszt mindenkit. A legkisebb szoba mellett van a WC, így minden lehúzás zavaró. A korlátok balesetveszélyesek, ami kisgyerekkel különösen aggasztó. Összességében a szállás számunkra rendkívül csalódást keltő volt: nem kaptuk meg azt, amit előzetesen ígértek, a körülmények kényelmetlenek és egészségtelenek voltak. A Booking felé panasszal fogok élni, mert ez a hely nem alkalmas arra, hogy vendéglátóhelyként üzemeljen.

A vista é maravilhosa .

Do cheiro de cigarro o tempo todo na casa, mas não poder ter cheiro de comida na cozinha, da dona morar na mesma casa e não nos dar a chave dos quartos, ficando assim vulneráveis e sem privacidade. Os aquecedores não são bons, piso range ao andar. De aceitar crianças, mas essa não pode fazer nenhum barulho.
