Quiet and Cozy

We had such an amazing stay. The place is cozy in the best way - perfect for sitting still and staring into the abyss. There are little corners throughout the loft where you can quietly read a book or just be. Josef was incredibly kind and accommodating, and he shared many stories about the city’s heritage that made the experience even more meaningful. Definitely a place to consider if you’re looking to truly unwind.

A wonderful Hallstatt retreat!

The location was excellent - away from the centre, but easy walking distance. And the view! 😍 The apt is modern and spacious. Host was friendly and available for questions.

Don't wait just book it.

This is a fantastic location with a beautiful apartment. If you're keen to just be in Hallstatt for relaxation this is the place for you. Josef is super accommodating. We could not have chosen a better place to be for our time here. We'd walk our way into the village bakery early morning to avoid the crowd, buy our lunch for the day. And make our way back to the apartment for a day of reading, listening to music and just enjoying the views on offer. Then when the crowds left we'd walk back into the village for dinner. If you find this apartment free for the dates you want, don't overthink it, just book it. It is incredible for so many reasons.

Our stay at Loft Am See was truly remarkable!

What an incredible stay! The loft was absolutely amazing—comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly situated. The views were second to none; we couldn’t imagine a more peaceful and idyllic setting. Host kind and attentive hospitality—it truly made our visit extra special. We leave with wonderful memories and hope to return someday!

Beautiful view from an excellent location and a wonderful host!!

Beautiful picturesque location. Just step into the backyard and you have breathtaking views!! Spacious place to stay with the family with fully equipped kitchen. Everything within short walking distance, Host was absolutely wonderful and went extra mile to help with our car trouble. He recommended some excellent places to eat.

Relaxing stunning break.

The accommodation was really well set up and resourced. Josef was great to chat to and gave good recommendations. Sitting in garden looking out over the stunning lake was amazing. We could cook and also enjoyed the activities around Halstatt.

The house is in a magical place, right on the shore of the lake, very quiet and pastoral. The atmosphere is wonderful. The owners are very nice and welcoming. It was unforgettable stay. Very highly recommended!

Magical, wonderful, peaceful, and Josef the owner was so wonderful.

Breakfast was not included but a Bakery was within a 5 minute walk away, and opened at 6 am. Also there was a small grocery store even closer. There was a coffee machine, a electric water kettle and napresso machine available at the property. As well as pots and pans and dishes and a wonderful stove and fridge, if you wanted to get some groceries a head of time.

All of it - value, amazing views, running stream outside bedroom window, gracious host with intimate local knowledge, privacy, access to the lake, well appointed, walking distance to downtown. Thank you to Josef for making our 20th wedding anniversary a trip one to remember for all times.

The apartment's location cannot be any better. It's the best location in Hallstatt. The owner Josef was promt to send all details needed. You can find all amenities in the apartment, especially the kitchen which was well equipped. Heaven on earth... looking forward to come back 😀

Fabulous

Wonderful location right on the lake front. Everything you need in the kitchen. Spacious and warm. The fire was lovely to sit around in the evening when cold.

The fold out bed in the living room wasn’t particularly comfortable for 2 adults but the wonderful views made up for it. The additional cleaning cost seemed a bit excessive for 3 nights.

Úžasné ubytování na krásném místě hned u jezera👍. Nedaleko centra, ale přitom klid a pohoda. Umělecky zařízený Loft s několika zónami kde si každý najde svůj koutek. Soukromý vchod do jezera. A hlavně nádherně pohádkové výhledy na celý Hallstatt 🙂

Naozaj skvelé ubytovanie.

Skutočne vynikajúce ubytovanie. Boli sme prekvapené priestrannosťou priestorov, ale aj polohou. Všetko čo treba vidieť v Hallstatte bolo na skok. Potešila nás možnosť posedieť si na terase priamo pri jazere. Pán domáci bol veľmi milý a ochotný, všetko nám dopodrobna vysvetlil, poradil kde sa najesť, aké atrakcie využiť. Pobyt sme si skutočne užili a boli sme nadmieru spokojné. :-)
