Great location at a reasonable price

This is a house with several apartments and we stayed on the ground floor. The room is designed for two, but when I had a third person join our travels, they kindly added a large air mattress to the room - and we still had plenty of space. There was a fridge and coffee/tea facilities for three. WiFi was good and we used the free parking. The location is beside the car park, just across the bridge from the entrance to the funicular and salt mine, and about a 10 minute walk into the center (5 minutes from the pedestrian street entrance. Hallstatt itself is expensive, but I felt this was great value for the money. We came by car and weren’t sure of our arrival time. There was a note on the front door with a phone number to call our our hostess arrived in just a few minutes. The only problem would be if you are traveling with WiFi only and no telephone capability. You would need to make sure you clarify that ahead of time. Would definitely stay again - felt like a home and not a hotel!

Absolutely perfect stay with a host who far exceeded our expectations

When our travel plans got hiccuped due to lack of transportation from Salzburg to Hallstatt I contacted the host to tell her we would be unable to make it within the check in window. She offered to pick us up from a neighboring town when your train got in late that night and drove us directly to the accommodations. We felt so well taken care of and are so so thankful for her hospitality. Location is 1 minute from the cable car and everything was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great location, super clean

Newly renovated bottom floor in classic family house, very helpful and welcoming owners. Very close to the funicular, in a quiet spot, short walk into town. Room is very spacious, and really sparkling clean, lots of surface space to unpack things, coffee/tea + toiletteries are at disposition. Parking spot in the garden, good wifi

Highly recommended for a friends or family trip.

We were warmly greated upon arrival (being very late at the property). The host asked even if she should bring umbrellas by as it was supposed to heavily rain all weekend and provided us with all the documents necessary to get the Summer card for the regions attractions. As we had the accommodation to ourselves it was really perfect. The bathroom was always warm and heated and the pillows very comfortable. The location is also great and just the perfect little place for a friend's stay.

One of the windows was very difficult to close and the beds were a bit squiky. But these are minor things
