Heaven in Hallstatt!!

Hermine and Alfred are great hosts. Their home is so warm and welcoming, it always felt like you're staying with the family. They take care of all the minute details. The house is located on the residential side of the town between the mountains and is walking distance from the salt Mine entrance. The area is very quiet and beautiful. The breakfast is amazing and even on one day when they knew it's my husband's birthday, they had a cake and candle ready. This kind of personal touch means a lot. We can only recommend this place to everyone.

Warm welcoming B&B in Hallstatt

We had such a great time enjoying Hallstatt. Our host Alfred and his wife were so welcoming and made us feel at home. They prepared a delicious breakfast for us full of thoughtful details. We were walking distance to visit the town and most important we could park the car in one of Alfred's properties.

Wonderful, perfect.

Hallstatt is as beautiful a place as we've ever been to. We're so glad to have stayed overnight and not just done a day trip. Hermine and Alfreds's B&B is so lovely and they are wonderful, friendly, helpful hosts. Fantastic breakfast.

Nothing. Worth knowing that most restaurants close very early and the recommended one was fully booked. Definitely research and book ahead.

Dream retreat in a beautiful town!

Our stay at Haus Hemetzberger was a dream! Located slightly outside of the main town center and attraction area, it offers the perfect balance of both convenient access and quiet and peaceful seclusion. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and sweet, offering us snacks, asking us about our day, or sharing their own travel stories. Our room had a wonderful balcony, and everything was overalll well decorated, cozy, and impeccably clean. Breakfast was wonderful, with a whole spread of various savory and sweet items for different preferences, as well as good espresso! Could not recommend this place enough!

It is so peaceful and homely with beautiful surroundings. We loved having coffee in the room's balcony, enjoying the views and the garden. Easy to park if you are travelling by car.

Just come, no regret

The cat. She is too lovely and cute. Sometimes I just want to watch her moving around. The hosts are very kind! They offered me a hotel breakfast and a homemade apricot cake. The best cake I could ever have! The room has everything I need. Tidy and clean. Super comfy bed. A kettle. Sometimes the corridor has bakery smell which is like a dream. The toilet is spacious and they provide the towers too. Location is very close to the salt mine.

Have to use a magnifier to find it.

The best place to stay in Hallstatt

The house is wonderful. It's situated in a very quiet zone in the beautiful garden. The view from the balcony was very nice. The bed is incredibly comfortable. We are very grateful to the owners for their hospitality. We enjoyed every minute of being there. Many thanks for delicious breakfast which was served with genuine care of us.

Nice homely stay in Hallstat

This is a B&B in someone own house. The host couple is absolutely lovely and helpful. They made sure we were well taken care of. The location is quite close to the main lake. Breakfast was very good and the couple made sure we were well fed.

The bathroom/toilet is outside the room, so a little inconvenient but not a big problem.

Nothing - I thought it was expensive, but upon further research, it's probably the best priced property haha. I recommend it more for German speaking couples.

Perfect place that feels like home

Cosy room with a balcony in a picturesque place. Hosts are extremely nice and hospitable, we were allowed to check in much earlier and leave our bags after we have checked out. Breakfast was great as well. Altogether you can feel how much love was put in this house!
