We highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our room! Everything was brand new, spotless, and the view was breathtaking. The location is excellent as well—there’s a supermarket and a bakery with delicious pastries right next door. Breakfast was wonderful too, with warm fresh bread, eggs, and orange juice. We loved every bit of it. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place!

Absolutely stunning and wonderful!

The view and stay was absolutely incredible! The rooms look EXACTLY like what is pictured. They are very clean and waking up to that view was amazing and the breakfast was delicious too. The staff was also wonderful - so kind and accommodating. The hotel is a little further from the "city center" but only like a 5 minute walk. We actually liked that it wasn't in the city center because it made it more quiet, quaint and relaxing. Also the cafe attached to the rooms has equally as great of a view and had good wine and beer.

If I had to find a complaint, which I have none, the shower leaks the water a bit, but nothing some towels dont fix.

Great stay

It was perfect - absolutely quiet, clean, comfortable and beautiful view. I do need to mention that the breakfast was absolutely delightful!

The road cannot be accessed with car so you will have to park at P1 and walk over which isn’t that near but manageable even with luggage. The staff could be a little friendlier.

Idyllic stay in Hallstatt

Everything was exactly like the photos, very beautiful location on the lake, with a spacious and comfortable room. The room is on the quiet part of Hallstatt, with views of the town, which makes for very relaxing and idyllic mornings as the sun rises over the lake. It was definitely the highlight of our Hallstatt stay. The host is attentive and responsive and a fantastic breakfast is brought to the room at the time we requested, with both cold foods and eggs cooked according to preference. Philipp even brought me oat milk upon request and sent us the code to the room half an hour before check-in, as we were already in town, which was very convenient. There is excellent water pressure in the shower and the bath robes are a very nice addition to making you feel spoiled!

Best place to stay in Hallstatt

This place is just amazing, I think this is the best hotel you can book in Hallstatt - right on the water, with huge windows overlooking the lake and the Hallstatt itself, excellent viewpoint from the other side of the village. The place is very modern but still very cozy, beautifully decorated, you have everything you need for a wonderful stay. The breakfast in the room next to the big widows, overlooking the beautiful scenery- is something I will never forget. Location of the B&B is also perfect- in a walking distance to the village center but far enough to be a great viewpoint overlooking the village and a perfect spot for THE picture. 10 min walking distance from the P1 parking garage. Self service check in was perfectly organized.

Great location with amazing view of the lake. The room was very clean, great bed, coffee machine and the fridge was handy as not many places to eat dinner in town we would have drinks in our room which was lovely. Amazing breakfast served to your room and lovely team really happy to help with any questions or coffee needs!

The only and I mean only down side was the public loo next to room so smell traveled to hall, room didn’t smell.

Great location on lake, but no AC and a little further on south end of the village.

The place does not have AC. It can get very hot in the evenings at the end of June. We left the window open during night. Since the rooms face east, the morning sun starts to rise at 5 am and the room gets hot quickly again.

No staff on property, no help. AC not working. DO NOT BOOK.

Irresponsible owner. No staff on the property. I was not able to get in. I had to ask a neighbor (souvenir shop) to learn that code was emailed to me. I was traveling and I did not have internet access. The email was sent on the day of the check in. The room was very hot. Air conditioning was very weak, not working. I was sweating. I had to sleep on the floor right underneath the air vent (the coolest spot which was still too warm). Breakfast was not ready until 9.30.

1-there were many insects when i first entered the hotel. 2- smelly bathroom And the most important reason: 3-It says Air conditioned room I particularly selected this room for the AC However it was not working and when I communicated with the reception they said it is not AC it is just ventilation !!!! just open the window!!! And when i opened the window alot of insects went inside So basically it was a lie when they described the room as Air conditioned room.

Round bed, which is not a good thing. Room was hot and air conditioning ineffective. Breakfast was just okay, mostly bread with some cold-cuts. Eggs on request, and they were burned. No one available at night.

The view is wonderful. The hotel is just next to the lake and the view is peaceful. The breakfast was served to the room. It was wonderful to have the breakfast with the gorgeous view of the lake. The location is convenient. It is just 5-minute walk from the carpark.

Overall it is the best stay in my trip. However, the texture of the mattress pad could be better.

The perfect setting in Hallstatt. Great hosts and first class breakfast served in your room.

The location is unbeatable. You open your eyes in the morning to the gorgeous Hallstatt lake. Most of the other properties in Hallstatt has at least one or more set of stairs, but Polreich is on one level and very easy to access, considering the size of our luggage. the rooms look exactly like on the picture - light and sunny and inviting. Our hosts were generous, accessible and charming.

We stayed for a week and a proper clean of the room during this time would have been great. Other than that, nothing to complain about.
