Weisses Lamm

Location of the suites, apartment, or penthouse! These are located in a different building on the waterfront, and all have a spectacular balcony view. Rooms are modern and clean, and comfortable. Right in the centre of Hallstatt as well, made it super convenient.

Look, is the toilet in the shower? Yes. Does it matter? Not really. The staff were a bit rude, besides the one guy who checked us in. Don't have breakfast there, the woman who served us seemed displeased that we had decided to show up. It's a very basic buffer breakfast, but you do get one hard boiled egg and she did ask if we wanted coffee or tea, but after half an hour without any coffee showing up we just decided to leave lol.

The accommodation was clean and in a convenient location, with great view.

The overall experience was let down by the atmosphere. The staff didn't seem particularly welcoming or accommodating, and often appeared quite stressed. There was also no fridge in the room, which would have been a useful amenity.

Room was very new and beautifully decorated. View from balcony was outstanding.

Breakfast was basic and considering the temperatures nothing was kept chilled or covered from flies. Staff were ok but not very welcoming. Strange being quite desperate from the main guesthouse building. Air conditioning wasn’t great.

I had difficulty using the stove; it would heat up so fast and high. I was terrified to ask the owner or staff any questions because I was yelled at when I had come to breakfast and heard the owner complaining in the kitchen and the staff. It was uncomfortable staying there after that, which is sad. I felt trapped and isolated in the apartment. I felt traumatized and unwelcome.
