Location, In the Middle, of everything we wanted to see and do was perfect. The owners treated us like family, genuinely kind and very helpful. Room and breakfast including the cold beer in mini refrigerator was a perfect touch after traveling a long way! Highly recommended!

We loved how close the hotel was to the city center. It is in the original part of town and at the very center of the town square. The water fountain that gives fresh glacier water from the mountain is directly in front of the hotel. The water was delicious. Eva (I think that was her name) was so kind and took very good care of us and made the most amazing breakfast with homemade yogurt and delicious eggs cooked to order. The rooms were wonderful.
The only negative was that the hotel does not have a/c, but that is not something that is normally needed. We just happened to be here during a heat wave all throughout Europe.

Very nice place, and the location was right in the center.
Stairs are always difficult so if you have any issue with up or down stairs this will be hard. No elevator. It was also warm when we stayed so a fan would have been nice.

Breakfast was good and generous. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nice. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It was nice to have a balcony. The room was very spacious. The location was good on the market square a block from the water. It was nice not to be in a big hotel.
Since there was no AC, we needed to open the windows to cool the room off. But the room is over a bar, so we often had smokers sitting below us or people talking and the light from the square shining in which wasn't pleasant later in the evening when we wanted to sleep with windows open. It would help if they air out the room by opening the windows/door to make it cooler before guests get there. A couple of long hairs in the bathroom were missed.
