I da Mitt is a delightful B&B in the heart of beautiful Hallstatt. We stayed in Room 3 which was very large and had a sitting area as well as a window looking into the town with a bubbling brook below. The modern bathroom was the largest we have had on our European trip so far. The team was very welcoming and breakfast was fabulous with fresh scrambled eggs and even apple strudel! Would highly recommend.

The location could not have been better. It is, like the name says, right in the middle of the square. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The owner even gave us coffee before breakfast hours, and sold us beer after they were closed to the public.
I wish I could have stayed longer, we didn't want to leave such a lovely place!

Right in the center of the village square. Modern room and facilities in a restored old historic building. Great location for people watching while having a drink out front. Breakfast each morning was excellent and the owner & management were friendly. They even carried our bags up to the second floor!
The Bar closed a bit early, but then again there isn’t a lot to do in town after shops close. Room 2 faces the square with large windows that open and can be noisy during peak tourist times.

Breakfast was good and generous. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nice. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It was nice to have a balcony. The room was very spacious. The location was good on the market square a block from the water. It was nice not to be in a big hotel.
Since there was no AC, we needed to open the windows to cool the room off. But the room is over a bar, so we often had smokers sitting below us or people talking and the light from the square shining in which wasn't pleasant later in the evening when we wanted to sleep with windows open. It would help if they air out the room by opening the windows/door to make it cooler before guests get there. A couple of long hairs in the bathroom were missed.
