Amazing apartment with great view

We chose KraftTanken after canceling a much bigger (110sqm) and cheaper apartment, and I must say that we were happy with our decision to select KraftTanken. The apartment is located perfectly, whether you arrive by car or by train/ship. Everything is nearby, and the view from the apartment/garden is extraordinary. The garden, which is facing the lake, is perfect for relaxing, and if you have pets, it's a great place. Unfortunately, the weather was not so kind to us that we could enjoy the garden to the fullest. The host, Mr. Kraft, is very friendly and provided all the necessary details upfront. His guide for arrival is perfect so that you can never get lost. The apartment is not the biggest, but amazingly, it has everything you need. Though we didn't cook but it has everything for you to cook.

The photos on booking.com do not quite match the property. The property is quite rundown. There were multiple large stains on the couch in the living area. The stove did not work well. Additionally, the outside of the property had not been maintained.

A lovely stay in Hallstatt!

We loved our three night stay at this cute apartment in Hallstatt. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the garden was a wonderful place to relax. We swam a couple of times and enjoyed watching the swans. Karlheinz is very quick to communicate and give helpful advice.

Magical 2 days in Halstatt

We stayed here for 2 magical days. It was very close to everything. The salt mine & Halsttatt village were 5mts by walk. The staff were very welcoming and called to check in. The backyard is just magical. We loved the stay despite it being wet and cold we could enjoy our time in the house.

Amazing view

The location was really good, the property is 5 minutes from the town centre and the funicular. The view was amazing! The house has direct connection with the lake, you can chill in the garden, and look at the lake and mountains. Friendly swans visit you regularly.

The inner doors were a bit loud. The lamp over the dining corner is too bright. But these are small things, nothing was really bad.

Superb

Charming apartment in a beautiful location. Its right inside the Hallstatt gate. Situated on the lake, with a lovely outdoor seating area when the weather is nice and large windows onto the lake. It's furnished with some beautiful and charming antiques with a newly updated kitchen area and bathroom. It maintains a unique alpine charm, while having most comforts that are needed. Easy walk into town and there is a lovely bakery right next door with great coffee to go and delicious breakfast pastries and sandwiches. Our family really enjoyed our time here. It was so quiet at night and there are so many stars! We would stay here again. The bed in the bedroom was quite comfy.

Heat could be better, it was chilly while we were there and the apartment hot quite cold at night. I would also recommend providing coffee filters and a nice local coffee as an extra. But overall we loved this place and would definitely stay again.

200yr Old little cottage. Cosy stay in summer!

First house on the right from the start of the main bus stop! Very convenient with luggage... 200yr old house and we had our own section with 2 bedrooms cosy comfortable beds and everything we needed. No disturbance very quiet with owners assumed to be living up stairs. Admired the antique items in the room and the beautiful view from the kitchen window. Didn't cook but fully stocked kitchen. (No washing machine) Stayed 2 nights during summer. No aircon and house was cool. Hubby enjoyed the book collection. :) must try everything from tiny fab pastry stall near information centre half way up the road!! Loved the warm custard tarts with blueberry and raspberries!!! We enjoyed our stay in Hallstatt here.

Kids and hubby were happy but i would have liked the shower water to be hotter. :)

Exceptional

We loved everything especially the view. The apartment is very well situated and it has a parking spot. There are 2 rooms. A bedroom and an open kitchen were there are 2 folding beds. The mattresses are comfortable. The host was awesome and answered all the questions we had. We self checked in.

Comfortable stay in beautiful lakeside house on southern side of Hallstatt

Lakeside location with views of lake, mountains and Hallstatt. Antique furniture: Kitchen was well equipped (although no cheese grater):

Only problem was that the toilet was squeezed into narrow gap between shower and wall, which made it hard for larger adults to use. Would help if removed unnecessary lower towel rail.

Heaven!

The location literally could not be more perfect. The cutest little apartment with everything you need! Having a private yard on the lake with a beautiful view of the town was worth every penny! My kids LOVED the swans and ducks that came to say hi.

The guy we were supposed to check in with never showed up? His brother had been messaging me about our stay and told us he would meet us there. We were unable to get a hold of him when we called. So his brother (who I assume doesn’t live there) helped us figure it out over the phone. It all ended up working out, but would of been nice to have someone give us a lay of the land.

Parkeren op eigen terrein. Appartement op begane grond. Deel van huis met drie verdiepingen. Eigenaren bewonen de bovenetages. Practisch keukengedeelte in de grote woonkamer. Grasveld met (lig)stoelen en een tafel tussen huis en meer. Dichtbij is er aanlegsteiger voor vertrek voor boottour. Winkels en restaurants op loopafstand.

나만의 호수를 가진 느낌. 전망이 너무 좋은 집. 할슈타트 현지인 숙소에 묵는 느낌.

2주 동안 4개의 도시, 4개의 숙소를 사용했음. 이 숙소는 3박 4일을 사용하였음. 다른 호텔들 후기는 고민없이 금방 썼는데 이 아파트에 묵는 동안에도 후기를 어떻게 써야할지 많이 고민함. 우선, 한마디로 말하면 "할머니가 사용하시던 오래된 시골 집을 삼촌이 물려받아 펜션으로 운영하고 있는 집" 이란 느낌이랄까? 있을거 다 있고 전망은 최고지만, 보이는대는 깨끗하고 보이지 않는 곳은 적당히 지저분한 그런 느낌? 현지인 숙소 같은? ㅎ 물론 나도 보이는 대만 보고 남들 만지는 대만 만졌으니 안보이고 안만저도 되는 곳은 적당히 지저분 해도 괜찮았음. ^^. 4일을 사용한 이 집의 후기는 10점 만점임. 아쉬운 점도 있었지만 좋은점이 훨신 많은 곳임. 내가 작성한 모든 아쉬운 점들은 앞으로 이 숙소에 묵을 예정인 다른 숙박객을 위한 안내서라 생각하고 읽어주시길. 1. 전망 두말할 필요 없음. 무척 좋음. 다만, 할슈타트 마을 입구 첫번째 집임. 관광객 유입 초입이다 보니 숙소 앞 야외정원에서 조용하고 한적한 시간을 보내기를 기대했다면 실망할 수 있음. 야외정원에서 바라보는 탁트인 호수 전망이 좋기 때문에 모든 관광객이 한번쯤 눈길을 주게 되어 있음. 옆 선착장에서 출발하는 유람선(하루 요일에 따라 2~6번 정도 운행) 탑승객들과 아이컨택 할 수 있음은 덤. 그래서 앉아 있으면 모든 관광객이 내 뒷통수를 구경하고 지나가는 느낌임. 관광객 유입시간(오전 9 ~ 오후 4시)에는 실내에 있다가 유입시간이 좀 지나면 야외로 나와 있을 수 있었음. 그때가 천국임. 물론 실내 쇼파에 앉아 있어도 호수가 한눈이 들어옴. 쇼파에 앉아 넷플릭스 틀어놓고 맥주한잔 마시며 호수를 힐끗거리면 천국이 따로 없음. 나가면 관광객이 호수방향으로 빈틈없이 꽉 차있음. 약 10m의 우리만의 전용 호수를 갖는 느낌. 너무 좋음. 이것만으로 200점임. 2. 소모품 주방용품(식기, 칼, 냄비 등), 간단한 조미료(설탕, 소금, 커피), 세면용품(샴푸, 바디워셔), 휴지(화장실용, 주방용) 모두 갖춰져 있고 충분함. 마치 이전 이용객이 남기고 간 다양한 소모품들을 다음 이용객이 연이어 사용할 수 있는 느낌? 친구네 집에 머무는 듯 하여 친근하고 좋았음. 3. 냉장고 크고 성능 좋음. 4. 침구에서 좋은 냄새가 남. 뽀송뽀송. 잘 관리되고 있음. 내가 묵은 기간에 비가 계속 와서 숙소가 조금 추웠음. 제공된 담요를 사용했으나, 가능하면 여분의 이불이 준비되면 좋겠음.

1. 호스트 거주하지 않음 체크인, 체크아웃 시 호스트를 만날 수 없다는 것 자체가 아쉬운점은 아님. 그러나 숙소를 사용하는데 몇가지 호스트의 설명이 필요함. - 숙소 현관문 열쇠 사용법 : 손잡이를 아래쪽 방향으로 끝까지 내려야만 열고 잠글 수 있음. 안쪽에서 잠글 때도 열쇠로 잠궈야 함. 동양과 달라 동양인은 처음에 당황할 수 있음. - 야외 의자가 깨끗하지는 않음. 의자 위에 올릴 쿠션이 일부는 거실 옷장 위에, 일부는 야외 검정색 플라스틱 괴짝에 있음. - 지나가는 관광객의 시선을 차단할 가림막 존재함. 숙소 현관앞 라탄벤지 옆 기동에 있음. 마지막 날 발견함. ㅠㅜ - 인덕션 사용법 안내 필요. 왼쪽하단 2단까지 켜는 방법 등. 다만, 우리가 묵는 3일동안 호스트는 전화로 우리에게 여러번 접근을 시도하였고, 도움이 필요한지 확인하려 노력하였음. 감동. 또한, 호스트에게 부탁할 것(수건 등 소모품 충전)은 booking.com 메신저나 whatapp을 이용하여 요청하면 3층에 거주 중인 호스트의 형제가 도와줌. 2. 주차 할슈타트 마을은 차량 진입 불가임. 허가받은 지역주민만 마을 안으로 진입이 가능한 것으로 앎. 우리는 승용차를 이용하였으므로, 사전에 호스트에게 주차장 사용 가능 여부를 문의하였고 숙소 내 private 주차 공간이 있음을 안내해줌. 방문 3일전에 주차장 사용을 위한 지령을 4-5장 분량의 PDF 파일로 전달 받음. 엄청 자세히 설명되어 있으며, 실제로 해당 지령대로 주차장을 사용할 수 있었으나 그 지령 자체가 복잡함. 우선, 이는 호스트의 문제는 아니나, 마을에 진입하기 위해서는 먼저 "Bus Only" 주차장을 가로질러야 하며, 그 입구는 차단되어 있고 주차요원이 엄격하게 관리하고 있음. 우리는 호스트의 지령대로 "예약 확인서(호텔 사진과 주소)를 보여주며 입장을 요청" 하였으나 직원은 영어가 서툴러 오직 "Bus Only"라는 말만 반복하였음. 호스트는 호텔 주소나 예약확인서를 보여주면 된다고 하였지만, 직원은 숙소 주소를 이해하지 못하는 듯 보였음. 주차요원이 호스트의 전화번호를 보더니 "이 전화번호는 독일 번호이며 오스트리아가 아니라는 듯"한 말만 반복함. 5-10분 정도 서로 똑같은 말만 반복하고선 뒤에 버스 2-3대가 대기하게 되니 그제서야 어쩔 수 없다는 듯이 우리를 지나가게 하였음. 그러나 우리는 여러 사람의 눈총과 직원의 날카로운 눈빛을 받아야 했음. 불편한 기억임. 차량을 이용할 사람은 사전에 번역기를 사용하여 독일어로 하고 싶은 말들을 작성하여 준비하고, 주차직원에게 보여줄 수 있도록 해야할듯 함. "Bus Only" 주차장을 가로지르면, 마을 입구에 또다른 차량진입금지 차단봉이 존재함. 이를 열기 위해 호스트의 지령에 적힌대로 카드를 찾아와야 함. 호스트의 지령에는 차단봉 앞에 차량을 임시주차하고 카드를 찾아오라고 적혀 있는데 그러면 안됨. 생각보다 카드를 찾아오는데 적지않은 시간이 걸림. (카드가 있는 아파트 현관부터 열어야 하는데, 아파트 현관키를 받아오는데도 시간이 걸림.. ㅠㅜ) 우선, Bus Only 지역 승용자 주차공간(약 3-4대 주차가능)에 잠시 비상정차 한 후 다녀올 것을 추천함. 마을 입구에 들어오면 첫번째 오른쪽 집임. 그 담부터는 쉬움. 전동키로 주차장 입구를 열고 들어가면 됨. (주차장에 경사로 있음) 나갈때는 마을 입구 차단봉과, "Bus Only" 지역 차단봉 모두 자동으로 열림. 그러나 다시 들어올 것이 걱정되어 3일동안 마을 밖으로 나가지 않았음. (호스트 말로는 마을로 들어올 수 있는 카드를 주차직원에게 보여주면 두번째는 쉽게 들어올 수 있을거라고 했지만, 첫날의 불편한 기억을 지울 수 없었음.) 3. 인테리어에 대한 약간의 개선 거실과 침실에 있는 노후된 옷장은 교체할 것을 조심스럽게 제안함. 침실안 철재문을 커튼으로 가릴 것을 제안함. 조금 무서움. 현관문이나 실내에 거미줄이 많음.

Krásný byt se zahradou na kraji centra v Hallstattu.

Krásné místo. Apartmán měl unikátní atmosféru a jeho umístění bylo úžasné. Nejedná o žádný luxus, ale o velmi útulný a účelně vybavený byt. Perfektní komunikace s majitelem.

Matrace by nemusely být tak měkké. Pro 4 lidi docela malé, pro 2 ideál.
