Easy walking distance from town.

Quiet area and close to town. Car parking. Friendly owner.

Lack of privacy via the windows. The unit is at the top of a staircase. During the day and early evening when the lights are on, and the window is open, the neighbour can see right in to the unit from his balcony. Which he did while we were there. Maybe even half netted curtains would give some privacy. The TV and lounge were facing the same way, so you couldn’t sit on the lounge to watch tv. Otherwise well equipped unit.

Fantastic

The location of the apartment was perfect for our stay in the area. We were able to park our car there and walk into Hallstatt, which we did earlier in the day and in the later afternoon when it was not so busy. We drove to many nearby attractions and villages. The apartment had everything that was required and comfortable. Silvia allowed us to use the clothes line to dry our hand wash laundry which was handy. Unfortunately after the initial welcome we didn’t get to catch up with Silvia and her Husband as we were out all the time and it was still too cool to sit in the beautiful garden in the evening. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

Perfect for family

Properly is close to lake and all local attractions. Perfect for family, very clean, host was amazing. Room comes with a beautiful view of mountains.

Nice stay!

Good size room with all the facilities and the kitchen is well equipped with everything for a simple meal. Since there are stairs, the host was kind enough to allow us to leave the suitcases at the storage room on the ground level.

No stairs, and location is a bit far from the ferry to the train station.

Nice and cozy

The unit is very big and comfortable. It has a kitchen attached in the next room. It is very near the lake, perfect for photo taking.

It took us quite some time to locate the unit based on the map provided. We walked into private properties. And, it was about 15-19 minutes walk from the jetty. But, if you are on a road trip, the location is fine.

The location is good and parking is very easy. The host was very kind and friendly, and let us park a car until noon. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, everything was perfect.

Very clean, comfortable, charming apartment in a very convenient location with short walking distance to the town and all the activities in Hallstatt - yet still a good enough distance from the tourist crowd. It was just a 2 minute walk to the bathing island at the lake. Included parking was available next to the apartment. Owners are available in the house across from the apartment, they were friendly (not hovering) and helpful with local advice. Pet friendly with no additional fee.

Beautiful apartment and Wonderful Location

This was a very nice apartment to sleep our family of four comfortably. It was cozy and very nice inside. We experienced a slowdown and got into town later than expected. The hosts were very accommodating. Very nice people, and checkin and out was very easy. Parking is available right at the home which was a nice bonus. It is a short 10 minute walk into the town square. The location cant be beat. It is 5 minutes walking to the salt mine funicular and has a playground for the kids on the lake with beautiful views. Highly recommended this place.

The apartment is close to the playground, it is a great place to visit with kids. Also, it is a great parking spot, since everything is nearby.

Another fabulous stay, highly recommend!

This was my second time at the apartment and once again it was a fantastic stay. Lovely views of the surrounding mountains and the train up to the Salt Mine. Easy onsite (free) parking. Location is the best if travelling with children (just around the corner are the swimming island and main playground), but also without children, it is just out of the centre and feels more peaceful. Great value for money when compared with other properties and finally fabulous and friendly hosts (and their whole family). We look forward to returning in winter months!

More for our personal preferences, a microwave would be useful. We had to leave!!!

Great place right at the root of the alps

The location was super, was few steps away from the lake. The apartment was very nice and cool even though it was very hot on that day. I liked that they provided us with a border for the side of the bed so our baby wouldn’t fall out of bed :).

Great for families! The playground is just 50eters away and away from the inner city buzz.

The appartment was great for what we paid but it felt it needed some modernisation.

The place was nice and spacious. The owners where polite. Close to the center.

We went on a weekend, everything was closing at 6 and opening after 9:00 ( if you want breakfast). no supermarket available after 12:00 in the area on saturday. They could have inform us just to be prepared.
