Tourists everywhere!!!! Worth parking in Obertraun and coming in by ferry.

A very quaint house with a beautiful balcony view. The living area was lovely for cooking at home. Bathroom was spacious. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms large.

It is worth mentioning that it’s not great for old or disabled people, with uneven stairs and a 1km walk to a car park. We managed with my 85 year old father, however, and he was pleased with his stay.

Lovely & charming home! Will stay a hundred more times if life permits!

3 storied old apartment with lots of charms & characters. We love every minute of our stay here, really felt like home & feel like time has slowed down. Location is perfect, directly at center of town but away from hassle & bustle. Close to supermarket. love the tiny balcony overlooking a small garden & lake where we had breakfast, lunch & dinner. Heater works well, we cook our meals in the kitchen, pots & pan, oil, salt, herbs provided. Modern toilets. And yes, I also need to mention this_ there is no ghost too 👻😆

None. Need to climb a flight of stars to second floor & another to third. we already know this & didn’t bother us. But if you have big or heavy luggages, may be a bit difficult.

Beautiful old style home very close to the Hallstatt lake, in the middle of the village. Very spacious and tastefully decorated, with all necessary amenities. Beautiful view pf the lake from the small balcony.

One of the best in Hallsatt, if not the best!

We loved the house. First of all it's at the heart of the center with restaurants and coffee shops just in front of it. The house is huge and it has literally everything, even more. It is very beautiful inside and follows the old style in combination with the modernism of the furnitures. Plus it has a small balcony as you can see on the photos from which you can see the lake.

Very good

Very good property for a family or a small group. It is a duplex house with 2 Bedrooms, and the sofa in the Drawing/Kitchen area can also be converted to a bed ( I did not try it though). The kitchen has all the necessary equipments to cook (except microwave). Chris (host) was always reachable. He gave very detailed instructions over email and also ensured for our safe arrival on the day. He also generously accepted our request for late checkout (around 2.00 PM)

It is not exactly a lake view balcony. Though the view from the balcony is beautiful but what I imagined was sitting in the balcony with the lake at front. This was not the case as the house is behind a couple of houses. I also missed a microwave oven. It would be good to have a television so kids can watch TV when tired after a long walk.

The best thing there are coffee and tea at home so you can just rest and take your coffee in the balcony which has a good view of the lake. The rooms are clean. Perfect interior design and romantic place. Hope we'll stay again

Probably the best place to spend your stay in Hallsttat.

The apartment is cozy and quite comfortable for a family stay. It is located in the heart of Hallsttat and easily accessible via train and ferry. The stay was pleasant, the host was quick to respond and friendly.

Location, Location, Location

The location was perfect. There was a beautiful, picturesque view from the balcony and close to all the shopping and main square. The unit was much bigger than anticipated. The unit was cozy with all the needed amenities.

We had to park twenty minutes away at a parking deck and walk. It was definitely worth the walk, but it could have been explained better.

A historical stay in Hallstatt with great accommodations.

We loved the 15th century aspect of the house. It was a unique stay with comfortable beds and excellent location in the old town. The properties proximity to the lake was perfect and made us feel like we were locals tucked away from the main walk way.

Their was no balcony attached to the property that we found. Not sure if we just couldn’t find it but we did not see one. A little hard to find yet a local woman in the area brought us to the property easily. We would have loved to know some more history on the house, we loved the pictures in the front entrance!

We Enjoyed Our Stay

The apartment was in the center of the town and very well located. It is a very comfortable apartment and we enjoyed the views from the balcony. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and the instructions were very clear. The apartment is a bit 'rustic' but that lends itself to the overall surroundings of Hallstatt.
