Haus am Hof - 15th century house at the lake, near the marketplace, with a balcony

What a dreamy place by the lake! Location wise it was amazing. Very comfortable inside and it had everything we needed. Oh my god I am so happy to have stayed there.

Maybe someone will not like the smell of moisture as soon as you enter but the house does not have any living space on the ground floor. All of the house is in the first and second floor. So do not worry about it. We loved the place . 🙏🏻

Our stay at Haus am Hof was truly unforgettable and one of the highlights of our two-week journey through Germany and Austria. In fact, our daughter said it was her favorite place we stayed during the entire trip! The apartment is incredibly spacious and was perfect for our family of four with children ages 5 and 8. Having two separate bedrooms along with additional sleeping space in the living room gave everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was another wonderful feature, allowing us to pick up food from the local supermarket and enjoy a quiet meal at home after a busy day of sightseeing. One of the things we loved most about Haus am Hof was its charm. Staying in such a beautiful historic home added so much character to our Hallstatt experience while still providing all the comforts we needed. The balcony was absolutely priceless. It was the perfect place for two adults to sit, take in the incredible lake and mountain views, enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, or relax with a glass of wine in the evening. We spent as much time there as possible—it was simply wonderful. Another great convenience was the electric boat rental located just behind the house. Being able to walk a few steps and rent a boat made exploring Lake Hallstatt incredibly easy and was one of the highlights of our visit. The hosts have truly thought of every detail. From extra blankets and fans to all of the thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, such as games and books, everything was provided to make our stay comfortable. The apartment was spotless and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We made wonderful family memories here and would not hesitate to stay at Haus am Hof again on a future visit to Hallstatt.

Convenient

Nothing about the property was bad, except for the far walk to the parking lot.

The hse is spacious n Chris is helpful & fast in responding to our request

The heating facilities is not warm enough and too difficult to carry our luggage to the room using staircase
