Poor check-in, nice hotel.

It was modern and clean, nice big room. Pretty views.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, even though I had communicated our time of arrival in advance. I really wish they'd told us upfront, especially as they did message back about another request (a crib for our baby). This really dampened the experience, which I let them know. They could easily have offered a little sweetener, or a different room, but they didn't, I really got the sense they didn't care. Once it was ready, hours later, I was sold an upsell of a room, which I paid for.

A great place to stay with outstanding views of the harbour.

Great location. Views were outstanding from our room. Great little coffee shop and friendly helpful staff. Good shower and toiletries provided. Room was spacious and clean.

Disruption in the middle of night with loud crowd on 2nd floor on friday night 230am. Complained and wasnt able to sleep after till past 4am. Security did take care of this after they were notified but it was already too late to rest. Next day, while trying to rest again, maintenance started drilling upstairs, hence , 1.5 days wasted just trying to rest after travelling. Room is lacking upgrading. No mugs for tea in room, only for coffee small lungo. No rinse glasses in washroom. Coffee machine located in awkward drawer. No kettle No In room slippers Bathroom needs upgrades No water offered in room , not even as 2 bottles welcome gesture. Had to buy downstairs or fill from tap 🤔 HVAC makes so much random noises.

The property is in a great location where you can walk anywhere around the downtown. The staff was super helpful.

We have stayed here twice now and it has quickly become our favorite hotel.

The location is perfect…park the car and not have to drive at all. So walkable @ inner harbour. Room 329 is wonderful….excellent view. Quiet room location. Also loved the lotion/shampoo etc brand……scent is heavenly.

Firmer pillows would be our preference. The bathrobes were not soft as it could be.

NIce hotel close to city center.

We had a great view on the old harbor and the hotel was only a short 10 minute walk from the city center. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helped us with every request. There were nice restaurants at a short walking distance. We particularly liked a restaurant called Nourish.

The hotel has not had any major renovations for some time. The airco / heating is an independent unit below the window for each room, rather noisy. There was no water heater in the room, although after requesting one it was quickly brought. The automatic opening and closing of the outside entrance into the lobby was not well adjusted, functioning unnecessarily all the time and causing the lobby to be very cold. Even the reception staff commented on this.

Not somewhere I would recommend

THe room was clean and location is good .

Late check in by 1/2 an hour , kept trying to get me into a king sized bed when I was clear I needed two beds, horrid super noisy heating system in the room that I could not sleep with when I informed receptionist was told "SORRY" nothing else......then was told I had to pay for my parking which was never brought up before once !!!!!! and it was $38.00 ! I will not go back to this hotel.

We had a very pleasant, albeit brief, stay at Inn at Laurel Point in a comfortable room.

We enjoyed our stay at Inn at Laurel Point. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was well appointed and it was nice to have a view of the harbour. The location was very good with the town easily reached by foot. We enjoyed our evening meal in the on-site restaurant and coffee from the cafe.

We really enjoyed the view out to the harbor and the room was large and comfortable. The bed was wonderful and the shower was terrific—great water pressure with lots of hot water.

We requested a quiet room, but work was going on outside on the roof and balconies three doors down from ours. Luckily, we were out most of the day so the noise created by the workers didn't affect us much. We also left a note for management about the router attached to one of the walls. At night a light flickered from it when there was internet traffic. It woke my wife up, so I stood on a chair and draped a hand towel over the router to block the light.

Beautiful gardens, lovely hotel and fantastic staff.

We had a fabulous breakfast and drinks at the bar the evening before. But what made our stay was the staff at this hotel. They worked as such a good team and really looked out for us.

The room had a truly bad view, it was advertised as partial view, but it was just only for one night and the rest of the hotel was fabulous.

We loved the views. The location was perfect. Roomy and comfortable stay in the nice room. Staff was friendly and efficient. Haydee at reception was a jewel.

Fabulous place to stay

The location was perfect. Easy walk to both the harbour and Fisherman's Wharf. Nice big room with 2 comfy chairs to sit in overlooking the inner harbour. We would definitely go back and recommend. Watching all the boats and planes on the water. The food at the cafe (Duo) and the restaurant (Aura) was all great! Duo make a fabulous coffee.

The balcony was so tiny it didn't even have a chair to sit on. The cups provided for coffee in the room were tiny espresso cups so couldn't have a nice coffee. It forced you to go down and pay for a cup of coffee.

Great position to explore the city, good views from bedrooms. Comfortable bed.

The rooms weren’t as quiet as I thought it would be. We heard doors closing and people’s conversations from the hallway. The other thing I didn’t like was that the booking site didn’t say we had to pay for parking. When we arrived, the property said we had to pay for daily parking. Was not happy about that.
