We got a free room upgrade and out bedroom was incredible. Super spacious, really comfortable, it even had a kitchen (although we didn't have time to use it), the bed was very comfortable and the views really great.
Even the Christmas decoration of the hotel made it more beautiful and the massage was a great addittion to have, really good as well.
Nothing to complain about, everything was excellent!

Very nice and helpful staff. Very easy check in and parking. They gave me a little doggie care package when I checked in with my pet dog, a very sweet touch. Breakfast was excellent.
The building is a bit run down, peeling paint, squeaky elevators, etc. but it was clean and the great staff made up for it

Nothing, it was good.

Had everything we needed, comfy, cozy and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.
Bed was a but too close to railing in the loft, otherwise we loved it! Will be back again next year!!

The breakfast was great, the location was great especially to be able to walk to most areas of dientown
The website was a bit difficult to figure out which rooms had water views

The grounds are lovely, the Christmas lights on the building at night, and the little breakfast room is lovely and old. The breakfast on offer is a tiny selection, tasty waffles, some eggs and bacon. Staff at front desk are lovely.
Unfortunately because we brought our dog with us we were placed in a first floor room, these rooms don’t look like the beautiful photos (and have a funky smell). The pet charge is $30 p/n and 18 p/n parking which feels very steep when you see the rooms. You can hear everything outside, and everything in the rooms above (eg. A couple sliding around in their hot tub/bath).

Great hotel and location. We chose the loft room and it was perfect for us. The staff was wonderful! Gave a 9 overall as breakfast could have been a little better.
They even let us check in early and stored our luggage on our last day as we couldn't catch a ferry home until 4!

Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful. Great location within walking distance of downtown Victoria. Hotel and room very nice. Room was quite large.
Breakfast was very good and nice that it was served til 1100 am.
No real old world charm to room which is something I thought would be as its attached to a very old world charm house. Just a basic hotel room and rather cool due to hardwood floors. Quite noisy from upstairs and hallway, so soundproofing could be better. Also our room 103 was on the street side and right over a underground parking exit, so very noisy when anyone left or the laundry was wheeled out. Would ask for the other side of the building and away from underground parking next time.

Location comfy rooms Great staff
Housekeeping staff playing loud music while cleaning a room adjacent to our room . Inconsiderate teens running in hallways and talking loudly in corridors waking us several times . Doors constantly closing loudly

room was clean and bed was comfortable
Deceptive advertising on the breakfast. Bit of a bait and switch advertising the nice place in photos as what was offered free.
living space was very small

The property had very clean rooms with friendly polite staff. They’ve been renovated quite nicely.
The dining area wasn’t it a very warm environment, although very clean and the food selection was adequate

The location was great, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was good.
It was very loud. There was a party having someone sort of gathering in the lobby/lounge area that were incredibly loud until about 9:45pm. We had to ask for a microwave even though the room was advertised as already having one.

It was described as an English breakfast when it was just a hot North American breakfast. I liked the fact they encouraged people not to waste food, take what you want but eat what you take. Coffee cups were too small.
Well, I had stayed there for 3 days before this stay and the room maintenance wasn't kept up. We had to request new batteries for the remote, the bedside lamp was broken and the stair lights going to the loft bedroom weren't working. Overall the Huntington is like an old lady that needs refreshing.

We stayed for the RVM and the location can't be beat. Just a few minutes walk to the harbour. The loft was spacious and comfortable.
There is a lot of paid parking, but if you are there for an event definitely arrive early.

Breakfast was poor, day old hash browns, sausage well past their sell by date. Staff very good and friendly.
No hot tub party outside the room would have been good.

Staying at the Huntington Hotel is always a pleasure. The location is close to the attractions of Victoria. The breakfast is great and the dining room staff are excellent. The staff at the desk are exceptional.
It was perfect. There was not anything that we didn’t like.

It was great to have a kitchenette for my week-long stay. Excellent location.
Parking was very expensive.

Great location.
Disgustingly dirty linens on the bed. Staff entered our room with key fob, unannounced. Unethical and unprofessional treatment by management.
5.0 / 10.0
The location was very good.
Very poor welcome with the person on the desk being unfriendly and rude to my wife and a short time later myself. All other desk staff, housekeeping and the breakfast restaurant were very nice. The first person person we met was trained at Faulty Towers. I got trapped in the elevator and at one stage there was no elevators.

The included breakfast was excellent. And the hotel is very convenient for the city centre. Good car parking
The lack of a bat
7.0 / 10.0
The location was excellent — close to downtown, the parliament, and the waterfront, so we were able to walk everywhere easily. The room was clean, though the building itself is quite old and hasn’t been painted recently, which made it look less clean than it actually was. Breakfast was standard — nothing special, but decent. I appreciated that the staff were attentive and kept the area very clean throughout service. However, the constant reminders and requests for tips were a bit annoying. Overall, it was a good stay with a great location.
The main thing I didn’t like was the parking. When I booked the place, I assumed parking was free, but it turned out to be $18 per night, which was disappointing.
I’d also recommend that they update the hallway carpets (we were on the first floor) and repaint the rooms to give it a fresher look.
Finally, the constant reminders to tip the staff were quite annoying. It made me feel like the hotel might not be compensating their employees fairly, which isn’t something guests should have to think about. It left a bit of a negative impression and might make me reconsider booking here again in the future.

Location, comfortable, clean, breakfast included, quiet
Paid parking was new with lot only quarter full, we’d never had to pay before
Only small expresso machine very small cups and not hot, we want normal coffee and none available in lobby only at breakfast
Most office staff friendly and very accommodating, 1 not so much
8.0 / 10.0
The location, staff, room size and breakfast.
The room and common areas were heated to the point of being uncomfortable. When you are dressed for the weather outside an overheated space is not what we are looking for.

Great Staff, very friendly and professional
The rooms was very dark and the window was very dirty with bird poop all over it..

Location and ev charger
We were not accommodated on an earlier check in or later check out we were only looking at an hour not hours and we would have gladly paid a bit extra . We were there for the marathon which the hotel welcomed but didn’t really support the runners in the day .
6.0 / 10.0
The hotel is in a fantastic location and it is clean.
The building is old with poor soundproofing - we could hear people above and beside very easily. Our king-sized bed was extremely soft and had no motion isolation. I actually moved to sleep on the couch.
We were there for a marathon and needed a late checkout past the 11 am posted. Absolutely not, we were told; however they did provide a clean up room. This graceful gesture was negated when we were told we had to move our car before I even arrived for clean up. The breakfast was acceptable but nothing special.

Lovely big room. We were on the half floor up and heard piano music from around seven am I think but it was pleasant so it didn't bother us. Charming staff. I warmly recommend that you pay the extra to breakfast at the exquisite Pendray Inn & Tea House.
We took the hotel breakfast the first morning which was included but it was like a bun fight with huge queues and not much that suited us. Too much sweet stuff. It suited us better to pay the extra and go next door to the nice quiet Pendray Inn.

Rooms were clean but a bit dated.
Didn’t like that the room balcony sat right on top of the new spa area (which looks cool). Felt like I couldn’t sit out there without feeling like a voyeur.

Excellent Breakfast!
10.0 / 10.0
Breakfast was excellent, plentiful of choices and quality. Love the beautiful period exterior of the property. Friendly staff particularly the most helpful and pleasant Leigh who gave many local insights and always around to help.
Not many places to sit at the lobby after checkout but before our departure cruise.
9.0 / 10.0
Breakfast was good. For $10 extra you can have breakfast in the Pendray next door, a nice semi private experience and well worth it. Location on the harbour is excellent. Corner room 242 at end hallway was great, except for noisy people upstairs. Room could use a few additional amenities. Nice front desk staff.
Paying for parking. No dress mirror in room. Bonkers upstairs keeping us awake. Puny toilet. No tumbler/beer glasses. Restricted harbour view.
