Hotel size comparable to an apartment building. Interior had nice vibes - wood, stone, plants, very zen and cozy. Love the room flooring (also wood and stone, but laminated for indoor). Spent one evening at the hotel restaurant solo watching YouTube munching on the best fries and chicken bites while drinking tea. Cosy. BLISS.

overall had a good experience. The location is excellent, close to everything I needed, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room itself was in mint condition—clean, modern, and well maintained. That said, I would have preferred a king-size bed, as the one in my room felt a bit small for my liking. Also, the laminated flooring, while stylish, was quite cold, especially in the mornings. Still, it’s a solid place to stay, and with a few small improvements it could be even better.

We really liked the Oswego and plan to return. The room was comfortable. We didn’t have a lot of interaction with the staff, but what we had was professional and easy. The location is excellent, walkably close to town while avoiding the busy core. We found the attached restaurant to be very good and finally, there are four ev chargers in the underground parking which was extremely convenient

Absolutely fantastic, this hotel is 10/10 always clean, everything works, organized, quick check in, fantastic underground parking, and list of safe street parking. This property is professionally operated, the staff fantastic and friendly. The restaurant food is high quality and delicious, also a 10/10. The pay to order coffee bar the best I’ve had in any hotel in Victoria. Thank-you!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in a great area - quiet neighborhood within walking distance of shopping and great restaurants. The staff are friendly, welcoming and service oriented. The bistro lounge area on main floor has a great vibe and nice atmosphere. The rooms are bright and comfortable and well set up for a longer stay. I would highly recommend this property.We will definitely rebook for next year!

We only stayed over night. Nice room but some details were lacking. Could not use the large deep bathtub because the drain didn't plug. Couldn't sit for a meal because the chairs didn't fit the table. The trim around the microwave was loose and made it difficult to open. I feel nitpicky but it did make the stay a little disappointing. Staff was lovely though.

The Oswego Hotel was simply outstanding in every way! We arrive at port roughly four hours before check-in and the staff happily took our bags to hold so we could explore and then called us about an hour later to notify us that our room was available early and the bags had already been taken to the room. We then sat outside by the fireplace for dinner at Aegir. It was breezy and we were promptly brought fleece blankets to warm up. These little touches made such a big impact!! The room was flawless and the view from the balcony stunning. After our departure, I realized about two days later that I left a handwoven sweater in the room and was upset because it was one of a kind. I was referred to their housekeeping supervisor who promptly located my sweater!! I arranged for shipment and they saw to the packaging and courier submission, which was so very appreciated. All in all, The Oswego Hotel went above and beyond our expectations and I would certainly choose to stay there again should I return to Victoria. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

However, we recognized that if we had visited during the hotter months, we would likely have chosen a different hotel that offered air conditioning for added comfort. On a positive note, the food at the hotel was exceptionally desirable, featuring a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Each meal was a delightful experience, enhancing our overall stay. Additionally, the atmosphere of the hotel was incredibly inviting, creating a warm and welcoming environment that made us feel right at home. The combination of great food and a fantastic ambiance truly made our visit enjoyable, despite the lack of air conditioning.

Loved this property! The one bedroom suite was huge. The balcony was a huge bonus. Secure parking on property but I actually never used the car. Hotel was so convenient and within walking distance of everything!

Wonderful location and very quiet. Close to the downtown core without all of the noise. Great restaurant downstairs with delicious Prime Rib on Sundays and live music!
