The hotel is well located, right downtown Victoria. Unfortunately, it is also located right beside the unethical horse carriage rides, which should be abolished. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. They have a great gym, pool and sauna.

Rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and clean. Some parts of the hotel seem a tad 'tired', though. We didn't have a nice view (looked directly out to the roof of the pool area) and when we asked for a different room, were told it would be an upcharge and then that they didn't even have rooms available, thought the hotel truly did not seem busy enough to be full. Bathroom amenities are wonderful, including high-quality soap, shampoo, etc. and rooms were very quiet - did not hear any doors closing at all. Did not use the pool or other facilities so can't comment. Would stay again, particularly because of proximity by foot to downtown.

The room was perfect, and the staff was so helpful. We had some extra time, amd one of the staff members gave us a wonderful walking route to see the harbor that I didn't even know existed. The valet parking was easy, and efficient

The staff were helpful, courteous and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. The lady cleaning our room offered to clean when it was most convenient for us and always greeted us with a smile and wished us a good day.

The location is excellent. The gym, pool, sauna, hot tub are also excellent. All the staff were all friendly and understanding. The room we had (suite) was fabulous and we had a great view of the harbour and the Parliament buildings. Our favourite hotel in this city! They also acknowledged my wife’s birthday with a free dessert.The happy hour at the Fathom is also great.

The hotel is okay overall, but the service could be better. I had booked a city-view room, and unfortunately was given only a partial view. Considering the price, I expected more. On the positive side, the swimming pool is wonderful—spacious and paired with a nice sauna room.
