    Possibly the noisy hotel we've ever stayed in. Some of the staff were great, but others were uninterested and unhelpful. The room had a kitchen but no cutlery, pots pans, plates, cups, glasses etc. You had to ask and sign these out from reception, you had to detail how many spoons etc you needed and sign for them. The room was generally a bit tired and a poor state of upkeep.

    The hotel is on the street in the tourist area of Bastion square, it's older, but staff very accommodating --our first room had no closet, as remodeling had not yet finished it, but we were provided another, adequate room without hesitation.

    My bed had a big indent because the box spring was falling through the frame. Toilet is continuously running. Lumpy mattress, poor sleep. Front desk was aware of this situation before I checked in. This room should not have been rented in its current state.
